  1. London arc was kind of "meh" in my opinion. The quality of the English voice actors really killed the whole "London" vibe for me, as with it was just another not important mystery. Was hoping for a B.O. revelation, something more to do with Yukiko/Yuusaku, etc. However, if you are a ShinRan fan, I guess this was probably worth fangirl-screaming over - even though Shinichi had a half-assed "confession", not exactly the "I love you" that most fans were probably waiting to hear, so for people who think the series might be over soon, think again: When those three words come out from Shinichi canonically, theeen you should start worrying.
  2. As much as I love to invoke anger into ShinRan fans, I'll try to be..less volatile. There is definitely trust issues on both sides, Ai and Conan are both keeping pivotal secrets from each other (more so Ai with plot-related B.O. stuff..which will eventually unravel), and of course the premise of the series, Shinichi and Ran, with Shinichi "living a lie". However, can you really name any shared interests between Ran and Shinichi? While you can argue that opposites attract in this case, the only thing that Ran and Shinichi have is the childhood friend bond. You have to be quite stubborn to ignore the fact that Ai and Conan share similar tastes, traits, experiences (the whole "I'm a kid" shtick), and somewhat even-level intelligence. I'm an AiConan fan, but I'm a reasonable one: the point of the entire show, is for Conan to become Shinichi again, and to reunite with Ran. You have to be a stubborn, cloud-minded person to not realize that this will happen. It's going to happen. The only way for an AiConan ending to even possibly come into fruition is some sort of OVA alternate ending that Gosho might make to squeeze out some more bucks, and even so, it probably won't be canon.
  3. Why, hello there miss, I've never seen you before - who might you be? (undercover ThisTopicNeedsMoreDonKnotts) Ah, my reputation precedes me. Hello Moonlight! Oh, you'll have to do a bit more to scare me away, especially, when I'm on the hunt > Also, I've seen giant onion-smiley introductions before, over back in DCTP BlueKaitou handles those shenanigans. Well, well, well if it ain't Mr. Crawler, you ol' basterd. I'll be lurking around, doing some dirty work, I'll make myself at home here if you don't mind
  4. lmao, did you scour the internets for that? Also, when are you going to have me AND slider, AT THE SAME TIME, in your podcast
  5. You're obviously Mohorovicic. @ Kaitou Kid: Thanks, and I will enjoy watching, thanks again
  6. Wow, this poll is quite old. A lot has changed in 2 years. Back then, I would of said the xbox 360. The Wii to me has always been not a true player in the current gen, simply because 1. the library of quality games is incredibly slim and 2. The 360/PS3 are far more superior. You won't see Assassin's Creed or Batman Arkham Asylum or Fallout 3 on the Wii. The 360 started off incredibly strong with the best (and still best) online multiplayer experience: With the release of Cod 2, Gears of War, Halo, and the giant block buster Modern Warfare, it was the system for hardcore gamers. However, over the past two years, franchise fatigue has started to take in effect with Halo and Gears, and even to the giant elephant Call of Duty. Microsoft was starting to lose their exclusives like Bioshock, Mass Effect, while PS3's crazy price (around 700ish I believe during launch) started to drop. As the years went by, PS3's more powerful hardware started to become evident, as the 360 started to hit its limit. Along with increasing it's gaming library, the PS3 right now is top dog, recently outselling the 360 over the past months. So, I vote PS3.
  7. ..Mix martinis together is a sexual innuendo? Wha..? I've never heard of that. I don't know about Gin and Vermouth, because I was always under the impression that Vermouth was Anokata's mistress or "play-thing", that's why she's Anokata's favorite. I always thought there was some sort of sexual abuse to Shiho from Gin, definitely one sided. She could have been raped by him. In episode 176, when Ayumi touches Ai's shoulder, she freaks out and says something along the lines of "Don't touch me!" It might be a bit extreme, especially for a Shounen series like Detective Conan, but there are some underlying adult themes that can be interpreted.

    Shiho Miyano

I don't think anyone knows for certain, everything right now are just guesses - I always just assumed that as a baby, Shiho showed genius-level intelligence and was handpicked from the Organization. I read somewhere that at 18 she possessed PHD mastery of whatever she does (sciency-chem-bio stuff).
  9. Hai guys! I kind of lied...I'm from DCTP. I'm keeping tabs on you guys. First we sent our elite black ops team "Lolihound" lead by our top operative, Dwight 'Akonyl' Schrute, but alas, things went wrong. http://forums.dctp.ws/index.php?topic=3086.msg430553#msg430553 Afterwards, DCTP Intelligence Agency decided to repool their efforts and create a new "Lolihound", this time with Akonyl leading some promising recruits. http://forums.dctp.ws/index.php?topic=2972.msg407587#msg407587 http://forums.dctp.ws/index.php?topic=2972.msg407593#msg407593 http://forums.dctp.ws/index.php?topic=2972.msg407625#msg407625 (I'll give you a Ranger cookie if you can tell me where that Lolicant thing is from ) Unfortunately, many members of Lolihound either went rogue or became deserters. I have come to finish the deed. I'm watching y'all.
