    Bleach

^ wouldn't that be a fanboy scream then? Haha..I don't judge, everyone has their tastes. I personally think Hitsugaya is okay, but the amount of attention he gets (he got his own movie o_o) is kind of annoying, seeing how his character isn't anything thaat special
  7. It's Orihara Izaya from the series Durarara! Check it out sometime, it's a great anime!

  8. I laugh at the people that actually put Ichigo Kurosaki in their top anime character lists. I guess people like dull personalities, generic " I have to protect EVERYTHING" attitudes, ridiculous or lack of character development..etc etc. Here's my list, I kind of have a thing for anti-heros/villains. 1. Haibara Ai - the savior of this series imo. An excellently developed character, a former villain now working with the main character - a femme fatale to some degree. Smart, dangerous, and has looks. Plus, her seiyuu nails her character perfectly. 2. Yagami Light - I really enjoyed seeing this bored high school student attain a God-like status and maliciously murdering criminals. The corruption he showed as he continued to bend his own rules of justice was interesting to watch. 3. Orihara Izaya - Just a great, villain. He's a fucked up individual, he enjoys seeing people suffer, and loves to observe how humans react to situations. He acts if he himself isn't human, which is why his character is so interesting. His go-happy attitude with that serial killer edge is awesome. 4. Ulquiorra Cifer - Kubo's greatest character imo. He represents death of emptiness, not understanding any emotion, hollow, human, shinigami, arrancar..His merciless and calm demeanor made him a badass, and his death was touching and deep. He actually made Orihime bearable. 5. Celty Sturluson - A Dullahan who wears tight leather and rides a sexy motorcycle. Awesome. I don't really need to explain anymore other than the fact that she's a badass heroine! honorable mention: L - a quirky detective, with very unique characteristics. Barely misses my top 5, he needs more of a personality imo, rather than just relying on his weirdness.
  9. you should give the anime a shot. It's a pretty good anime series, it has just enough "wtf" confusion for someone to feel compelled to watch that next episode. Plus you'll get to see the infamous dance in the ending
  10. 1. Welcome to the NHK (anime) - great series, short and sweet. The anime version is better than the manga version, as they tell minor different storylines. Very human characters, funny, and sad. A tear-jerker. 2. Death Note - I'm a sucker for its dark atmosphere. Light and L rivalry is probably the best rivalry in any anime I've seen. Also, I love how the main character is a villain while the antagonist of the series is the hero. 3. Detective Conan - The first hundred episodes had absolutely great cases (Masked Villa Murder Case anyone?), however, the one thing that makes DC different from other plot-less mystery Law and Order/CSI shows is the Black organization development. Haibara Ai kept me following the series, add on the confrontation of her with the Organization, and the introduction of Vermouth, the CIA, and the FBI, the show can get extremely interesting. However, the series has been going for far too long and thus the fans are showing fatigue, which is why it's not my # 1 and 2. 4. Bleach - great art style. Kubo can draw. Unforunately, his story telling could use some work. The introduction of Rukia and Ichigo was great, along with Soul Society. Hueco Mundo wasn't bad either, it might have been repetitive, seeing how it was now Orihime kidnapped instead of Rukia, the Espadas were a great bunch of characters. However, the series took a nose-dive with the conclusion of Aizen and the Fullbring arc. Hopefully, the series will go back to being respectable. Bleach gets on my list for it's awesome characters and artistic vision. 5. Durarara! - I really enjoyed this colorful series of hectic fun. All the characters were unique, the artstyle was very nice, and the story had that supernatural twist to it that just intrigued me. More importantly, the characters- Celty, Izaya, etc. Here's hoping that it's going to get a second season

Well the actual volumes released in English are kind of behind. Personally, my favorite is Ulquiorra Cifer (my avatar in my main homeland DCTP), I also like Gin, Halibel, Starrk, Grimmjow, Byakuya, Kenpachi

    Bleach

I couldn't care less about Ichigo, he can get his powers stripped and his ass beat 50 times over for all I care
  18. bout a week and a half until I have to stop messing around :( bit disappointed yet excited.

  19. Funny how different DCTP and DCW are, back in DCTP everyone (including myself) really disliked this episode. Simply because...who honestly cares about Chiba? The fanbase for him must be less than like 2% of the audience, and yet Gosho has time to make a sloppy lovestory for him? :/
  20. Yo, so I watched this anime not too long ago, Brotherhood that is, and it's a pretty damn good series. I started the original FMA a while back and only got halfway done, simply because it felt really slow paced. However, I restarted with Brotherhood, which had stellar production value (it looks amazing!), followed the manga directly, and was much more fast-paced with no filler (I got to where I was in the original-which took me 25 episodes - in like 10). Any Hagane no Renkinjutsushi fans?
