Well, the only thing that links them is that they got shrunk. Their pasts, and their futures, are entirely different. Shinichi is in love with the girl he likes, before and after he was shrunk, and is clinging to the past as hard as he can to make sure it won't disappear. Ai would do anything to forget her past, let go of everything, even her sister, and just live a new life as Haibara Ai. She likes being Haibara. Shinichi hates being Conan. See, complete opposites. (I could explain better, but I'm too lazy to do it right now.) One of the 100 reasons why I don't like AiCon or ShinShiho.

i don't like aicon simply because it would mean they will both remain kids, shinshi would be better but that will probably never happen. Therefore Shinran is the best because they love each other and Shinichi will return to his old body.

Shinichi only loves Ran. Conan only loves Ran too. Shinichi and Conan are the same. Therefore, they only love Ran. Which means, Ai is the only one who likes Conan/Shinichi. o_O

Nah, I don't think Conan ever loves Ai, maybe as a close friend who shared the same fate... but as far as love her? No, I don't think so. I can say that maybe Ai loves Conan as hinted in many episodes (or chapters)... or at least like him. But I think she had given up on Conan as the story went on . Because nothing can break the relationship between Ran and Shinichi . And Ai isn't that evil as wanting to do that so she can have him . Oh, and I voted for 'Only Ai loves Conan' .
