Detective Conan: Marionette Symphony (名探偵コナン マリオネット交響曲(シンフォニー) Meitantei Konan: Marionetto Shinfonī?) is a single-player video game of the Detective Conan franchise, the first of two games made for the Nintendo 3DS. It was released in Japan on April 25, 2013 by Bandai Namco. The action takes place on the giant island resort Clover Hills, where the Moriyama Construction Corporation is holding its one-year-anniversary ceremony. While seeming to be at first an uneventful gathering, the ceremony is halted by a murder case that Kogoro, Ran and Conan must solve. Meanwhile, the Detective Boys are exploring the resort on their own, Heiji and Kazuha have been invited to a TV broadcast, and Kaitou Kid has set his eyes on a prized jewel. The complex is later stormed by a terrorist group, and all five groups of protagonists have to fight the enemies on their own. The gameplay follows the format of a visual novel, with added augmented reality features, which allow the players to collect event cards and unlock new characters.
