Situation

A relaxing day at the driving range leads Kogoro, Ran, and Conan to their next explosive case, as the president of a leading electronics manufacturer meets an untimely end. With many suspects and few clues, will Conan unravel the mystery in time to catch a killer?

The culprit is Tomofumi Minami. The bomb was actually not contained in the golf ball Eisuke Tachibana hit but rather the golfball that was already stuffed into the driver head he was using. Tomofumi was the only one who could do it as he was supposedly repairing some shaft damages on Tachibana's driver for two nights. The ball they discovered at the crime scene was just a substitute. Tomofumi planned to frame Yasui for the murder by faking a stomach ache so Yasui would collect the ten balls Tachibana would use and leave the explosion as the only uninjured suspect. Tomofumi claimed he did not care if innocent people died, but Conan tells Ran that he didn't believe it because Minami warned him to not get too close right before Tachibana's "explosive" death, meaning he saved Conan from the explosion at the last minute.

Motive

Tomofumi killed his boss for overlooking his talent and framed Yasui who received preferential treatment for brown-nosing.
