At night, Ran, Sonoko, and Conan were watching the sunset on the hill and they saw Tetsuji go up on the mechanical trolley and waving at them before falling at the bottom of the cliff. Conan rushes to the scene and find him dead along with Naoya who had seen him fall from the house.

- This case is made in a similar fashion as Cactus Capriccio, because in both cases Ran, Sonoko, and Conan are invited to Sonoko's friend's garden of field to see its beauties, and the owner is also killed.
- The sea sweatshirt worn by Sonoko is the same from The Missing Sweets in the Old Shop, Private Eye in the Distant Sea, A Dispute Over a Platinun Ticket, Conan and Ebizo's Kabuki Jūhachiban Mystery (Part 1), and Mysterious Case in a Hot Air Balloon, and later in The Glamping Mystery and The Feuding Girls.
- The sweatshirt worn by Conan is the same from Turning Point on a Driving Date.
