Ran was approached by Junta Misato, who somehow convinced her to have a hairdress at his workplace. Ran also texts Shinichi about the hairstyle she should change into. Coincidentally, when Misato pointed her to the building he worked at, both of them saw someone/something collapsing inside the third floor of the said building.
Ran and Misato arrived at the complex to check what happened, with Misato finding Sayaka Ishii dead on the third floor of the building. Coincidentally, Kazuhiko Chozuka came out, unbeknownst to what had just happened. Takagi and Megure come to investigate while Chiba goes to ask the people nearby.
