Takanori Yano (矢野 孝典 Yano Takanori?) is a Japanese technical director. He does storyboard works for Detective Conan anime and movies.

Works in Detective Conan

Yano first participated in the production of the Detective Conan anime in 2013, starting with the 2nd part of The Evening Cherry Blossom Viewing Route on Sumida River. He then became the regular episode director for those episodes which were outsourced to BIG BANG studio, replacing the former regular BIG BANG episode director Shigeru Yamazaki.

In 2019, after finishing the episode direction work for the 1st part of The Radio Questions and Concerns Show, Takanori quit the Detective Conan anime production team. Masahiro Takada then replaced him as the BIG BANG regular episode director.
