From this, he also realizes that Masumi knows his real identity, that Shukichi is the middle brother of the Akai family and that the girl in Masumi's hotel room is their shrunken mother, Mary. In her thoughts, Masumi says that there is a reason she called Shinichi a wizard back then that he has not yet realized. Kanenori becomes Kogoro's apprentice. A picture of Rumi, her name and her occupation end up on the news, with Kuroda and possibly Kanenori taking note of this event. Heiji brings Kazuha to Tokyo to attempt to confess his love for her during a holiday illumination. Conan remembers a meeting with Masumi, Shuichi, Shukichi and an adult Mary ten years ago. Masumi called Shinichi a wizard back then.
