− | <spoiler> | + | <spoiler>Conan figures out that the light was reflecting the silhouettes to the window from the room opposite to Kogoro's room. From a different room the first three murders, were in reality a CPR dummy that was stabbed to look like a murder, while the fourth and real murder occurred in the room opposite to Kogoro's. |
− | Conan figures out that light | +
− | + | The first three murders were to make it look like Kogoro was imagining things, and thus would appear to be losing his mind and he would be an easy target for pinning the murder on. The culprit who murdered Eto is '''Mitsuo Shirai'''. The evidence is his coffee cup, he was served coffee by a nurse who left it in his room. His fingerprints were no where to be found on from the cup he supposedly drank from, in reality he actually rinsed the cup holding it from its handle while wearing latex gloves.
+ | |||
+ | If he had drank coffee why would he need to wear latex gloves? The reason being he had just knocked out Kogoro with the blunt weapon. Doctor Mitsuo refutes saying that he washed away his fingerprints when he was cleaning the cup he drank from. However Conan as Kogoro says that cannot be possible as the nurse's fingerprints were on that cup, meaning that he wants them to believe that when he washed the coffee cup, he somehow managed to leave the nurse's fingerprints intact while washing off his.
− | == Dub | + | The reason that he cleaned his cup the way he did was because he never drank from the cup in the first place. He wasn't even in his office when the coffee was delivered, he was talking to the nurse via speaker phone creating the illusion that he had been there that whole time. Realizing his mistake he confesses and says his motive was that he was always mocked by his rival Eto and wanted to receive the promotion that both of the doctors were vying for. He reveals that Eto tried to blackmail him into backing off the promotion so that he could receive it for himself, that's when Mitsuo decided to kill him to get him out of the way.</spoiler> |
