- The cover of Shonen Sunday #1/2026 features Chihaya Hagiwara, Kogoro, Ran and Conan. Chihaya poses with a partial heart (♡) while Ran appears eager and blushing. Conan looks curious, contrasting with Kogoro's confused expression. This is the first of two covers to promote the current case, along with the cover of Shonen Sunday #2-3/2026.
- The ring that Shinobu wins for Chihaya is a reference to the mirrored lotus ring from the manga and anime series Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, which is rewarded to the main protagonist, Frieren by Himmel.[4]
