Tea Party

How do you know the Tea Party happened? If it has yet to be animated, no spoilers please. --SocietyBox (talk) 04:35, 6 February 2025 (UTC)

The conversation between Yusaku and Akai at the end of The Black Organization's Scheme implies that they "discussed about some matter" and is yet to receive a response regarding that. The way Crunchyroll translated this line in anime may make us think the opposite, but a more accurate fan translation makes it clear. I thought it would an issue with translation. The actual line in Japanese[1] is "例の(that)深夜の(late night)お茶会の(tea party's)答え(answer/reply)を まだ(still)頂いてませんし(not received)", which translates to "Regarding that late night tea party, we still haven't got a response". So there's no mention of "matter" and so it's possible the "response" they're waiting for is one to the invitation itself and we can't say for certain the tea party happened. That said, my speculation's the same as everyone else's which is that something did happen. If I've convinced you, please update Unsolved Mysteries. --SocietyBox (talk) 19:42, 12 February 2025 (UTC)
Thankyou for correcting me. I agree with your point. I have edited the sentence so that it mentions the incident without implying whether the tea party actually happened. --Tsutomu25 (talk) 19:19, 13 February 2025 (UTC)
