| − | + | Obviously, no! This is the set up to bait the culprit, '''Sosuke Yumemura''', into attempting to silence Orie for good (The police will be there to protect her, of course). The one Orie has been in relationship with is also Yumemura as he had been '''impersonating''' Shiro when he was in the U.S. After noticing the abnormality in the guitar rack, the real Shiro called Yumemura, not expecting to be killed by him. As he was trying to escape, he accidentally encountered his girlfriend and argued as the latter wanted to get in, resulting in the situation Sosuke told the police earlier but changed a bit so he could frame Orie for murder. He also tried to silence her as she probably knew too much. In the post-credit scene, Kogoro is seen playing some kind of a gamble game with his in-game name as Ran, which makes her furious at him. | |

Situation
At 11:30 during a bird watching trip, Kogoro, Ran, and Conan see a suspicious person looking around before going to his truck containing two electric appliances through binoculars, but Conan points out something that suggests their detective work is not going to be put on hold.
The police arrive at the scene as usual, and Takagi brings along the victim’s older brother, Akihiro Kurotaki, who also notices something unusual about his younger brother’s guitar case. In addition, the identity of the “suspicious” person that the Kogoro had noticed earlier is confirmed to be Takuro Shoyama, who is soon cleared of suspicion because his testimony is confirmed to be correct. But the case has another branch as Takuro received calls from his daughter, who hasn’t been on good terms with her father and has left the house for 6 years. Following this route, the police go to Orie's residence but one of her neighbours tells them that she had gone to find a missing item since 10:30 this morning in a panicking mood as Orie told in her phone: Papa, help me!
The police then receive information that a person had fled the scene on a yellow motorcycle at the exact same time, making the search for the person a top priority. While the Mouri family is discussing why Takuro hid his contact with his daughter, they notice her nearby, but strangely enough, after following her for a while, the three of them discover a person matching the suspect description and Orie is seen with him. After they lose sight of the two and stop to see if they are around, a scream attracts their attention, as Orie is reported to have fallen from the second floor of a building, before being taken to the hospital for first aid she says Shiro hasn't died, but what does this mean?
After asking Akihiro for more information about Shiro, the police also get information about the yellow motorbike that Kogoro had seen earlier and its owner, Sosuke Yumemura. He states that Orie had killed Shiro because of a love conflict and had accidentally knocked Yumemura unconscious while escaping. After bandaging his head wound, he received a call from Orie asking him to take her to the police station, but halfway there, she said she had something to do and left.
Takuro then arrives and reveals that he came to the scene to also collect the keys left in front of the victim's house by the daughter after she killed her boyfriend, because she was very angry after receiving a call from Shiro asking her to break up and not to come near again. In a moment of slip of the tongue, Conan accidentally reveals that the place where Orie is being treated is Beika General Hospital, but is that all to it?
