"I'm sure Sonoko will tell everyone in the class what happened. Tomorrow, I will surely explain to Ran. This is the only way to solve it." Meanwhile Ran was having trouble sleeping, for the image of Shinichi and Shiho floated in her mind, that she cannot sleep. "If only he knew how hurt I was."she said to herself. When Shinichi got to school the next day, the whole class was talking about what happened the day before. As Shinichi sat down, Sonoko yelled at him. "Kudo Shinichi, you two-timer! Don't you know how hurt Ran was when he saw you two? Hmph." After thaat, some other classmates of his also began yelling at him. They kept shouting until Ran shouted. "Can you please stop!" Ran yelled. "Go mind your own business." They all kept quiet after that. After school, Shinichi went to Ran. "Ran, about yesterday," he said. "I'm sorry. I didn't want to hurt your feelings. It's just that--" "Just what?" Ran said. "Umm..." "I think I know. You and Shiho went to a date and you were about to kiss her when Sonoko and I arrived." she continued. "Ran, I'm really sorry." he said. Then, Ran suddenly hugged him. "I've always loved you, Shinichi. I feel really annoyed when some other girl gets too near you." she said. "Especially that Shiho girl." Meanwhile, Shiho forgot her bag inside the cassroom. She went in and found them. "Kudou-kun," she said, tears falling down her cheek. "I just forgot my bag. I'll go get it." She brushed of her tears when suddenly Ran said. "Shinichi it's time for you to hoose. Who do you love more, me or Shiho." Shinichi stood in shock. Then he said. "The person who I love more is..."

Kiel95 Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 i had to pick shiho.. for one thing.... i don't think it's fair that shinichi is being yelled at because ONE girl is unhappy, and then he is placed in a really bad position... then shiho sees... and... i feel worse for shiho... she has no one backing her up, yet ran has everyone... truthfully, if you had switched ran and shiho's positions... even though i'm aicon/shinshi... i would've chosen ran... from shiho's side it's sadder, and... i dunno.. i just feel that ran is being to crybabyish... it's not fair to amass so much help from her classmates, when shiho is now alone... if ran gets the friends... shouldn't shiho at least get the guy?

Kiel95 Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 going by the story (of the fanfic) i chose shiho! if the positions were switched, even though i'm a shinshi/aicon fan, i'd choose ran... and i'm quite highly against her... in all aspects... but anyways... think not only about your fav character, but also the story with which we are trying to decide the outcome of (by choosing which to have win shinichi)

Shirayuki Hana Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 hi guys/folks. i hope you would read this: I'm a Ran fan. though i also liked ai, but i love Ran/shinichi more. There are purpose for everything, right? why do you think Haibara is "smarter" than Ran? is that the way she carries herself? or: Haibara studied in America, so that's why she's smart in terms of science and common perspectives(since science deals with common perspective, right?). She has family problems(or should i say, both of her parents died), that's why probably she has "that" attitude. Ran is a typical, ideal girl for me. She also is clever, but i think she's only playing dumb; though she knows them already(it implies), i think she puts her feelings first that's why she always encounter those DOUBTS, and sometimes, ended up in danger. She has family problems too, and grew in a different environment/nature than Haibara. So, that's one of the reason that explains why Ran and Haibara are totally different. next: why shinichi is: 1. more open to haibara when it comes to his secret, FBI, CIA, BO, and such common danger? 2. not letting ran know even a single thing, nor hint. Ans: 1. Because haibara WAS one of the most important person in BO, specifically, she was the scientist who was used by BO in creating some poisonous medicine(specifically the apotoxin holmes: apotoxin 4869) because she knew shinichi's secret: that shinichi shrunked by drinking that apotoxin 4869. shinichi knew that haibara won't open their mouth since he know that she already suffered and experienced the trauma/nightmare when her sis, and parents was killed. 2. Because shinichi IS truly worried for ran, though it's not written in his face(sometimes), it always imply. Knowing ran as his childhood friend, as far as i remembered, in one of the episodes, he assumed/predicted what will happen when he tells Ran about everything, his secret, FBI, CIA, and the Black Organization: Ran will be totally worried, and knowing her, she might panic and do something reckless, like blurt it out to the police, when the police themselves have no idea what's going on(and you should know what will happen next: spreading of the news, reaching BO, making a move to silence Ran. Since she will do anything just to save her love ones, even in exchange for her life. I hope you would not criticize me of what i wrote. This is on my behalf. And i KNOW, this is right.
