Two years ago I auditioned for an advanced choir but I didn't get in... though they said that I did a good job; 'nice voice, but too soft'. So I didn't do any choir last year. I did guitar instead!! \o/ When I checked my grades this year, I found out that I almost got in to the more advanced choir; I didn't get it because my schedule conflicted with the course.. I might continue with the project today, tomorrow or Friday... but I don't know for sure. They told me my voice is too soft, I dont have the range, and it was too breathy/airy and that I went a little off tune... (though I dont think I actually went offtune ) So in summary, she said I couldnt sing.

Can't they just have let you sing Alto/Soprano instead? Wait... so they didn't actually say that you have no singing talent.

(They have to conduct the auditions AFTER OUR FRESHMAN ORIENTATION) We shouted until we have no more voice already... *sigh* But of course, if we are good with our voice, we know how to shout without spoiling it... But I dont... so...~ But it is true that my voice is too soft.

Then they shouldn't have conducted the audition right after people were shouting... cuz it damages their voice and prevents them from singing their best. So is mine, then. :V

UNTIL I had a terrible cough and I lost my voice for a few days... then when my voice came back, I realised I lost it... >__< Well, now the highest I can hit... hmmm is... I think that note in my fandub... >__< And it was barely...

The Karaoke available in the club are all really old songs; their 'new' songs were released 2 years ago or before. O__O So you won't find Taio Cruz's 'Dynomite' there. No, you won't even find 'Fireflies' by Owl City. The songs are available in Cantonese, Mandarin, English and many other languages... haven't been there for a while... never really sang a Japanese song there... If they have 'Special Days'/'Gorgeous 4U'/'My Secret'/'Hoshi no Nagareru Yoru Ni' there, I would surely sing it... But most of the english songs available are kid songs. (eg. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Old Macdonald had a Farm, etc.) though I've sang Disney songs like 'Beauty and the Beast' there... it's a waste to go there. (Though I would go there if I wanted to practice singing mandarin songs lol)
