I have no idea how I'm supposed to get rid of it so how am I supposed to try hard to get rid of it? And I do have reason for being paranoid around new people, even if I'm sure they're not from DCW.

That person goes home and has a friend or classmate who knows DC. They say, "Oh, I met someone named Jean a week ago who also was obsessed with DC!" The DC fan is one of you. They ask, "Did she ever mention a DCW?" The person replies, "Yeah, a few times. What, is that important?" Eventually the DCW member knows my age and location. That's what I'm paranoid about.
