Misaki-chan

(No, deadline was tonight at 8 EST. But we haven't heard anything from kaichou, so I think we can keep adding on till she makes the concluding post.)

"You have almost completed the game. There is one remaining riddle between you and freedom." A moment of silence occurred before the man continued, “Well, I guess it’s not so much a riddle as it is a task.” Ai asked, “Oh? And what is this task?” “Quite an easy one really. Kill everyone in this room, not including me. Then you are allowed free.” As he said this, the desk in front of the man opened up, revealing a tray of different weapons. The teenagers froze, looking at one another with unreadable faces. But it seemed that they were all having the same sort of thoughts. We have to kill... everyone? Misaki’s mind filled with thoughts, attempting to think of a way to get everyone out alive. However, it seemed that the swearing woman had different plans. “I WON’T LET YOU F***ING BRATS GET IN THE WAY OF ME LIVING,” she screamed manically as she ran towards the table. Her mind dropping any thoughts she was having, Misaki instinctively ran towards the table as well, wanting to stop the woman. Thankfully, with her long legs and also being closer, she managed to beat the woman to the weapons by a few seconds. Before she could properly think of something to do, the young girl grabbed a knife before plunging it into the woman’s throat. The lady, eyes wide in shock, fell to the ground in a sickening thud as the blood oozed from her wound. The others looked at Misaki with a mixture of shock, fright and unease. She looked at them before looking at the knife and the now-dead woman, her eyes wide with shock. Misaki felt sick to her stomach. She now knew what she was capable of, and she was far from proud of it. She squeezed her eyes shut, hoping it was just a nightmare, something she could escape from. The man behind her began to laugh jollily as he clapped, “Oh my! I didn’t expect you to be the first one to kill. You seemed so harmless that your act was quite a surprise. But in games like this, a surprise is always nice, don't you think~?” She couldn’t go on like this. She had come to the point of no return. She needed to stop herself before she would come to hurt others. She knew what she had to do. Silently, Misaki slowly turned around and put down the knife before picking up a gun. She positioned it next to her head, and, without facing the others, said, “I’m sorry things had to end this way. Please don’t hate me for this.” The protests came as she heard footsteps approaching her, probably to stop her. She smiled softly as a single tear fell down her cheek. Good bye… A bang ran out before the room, followed by a thud. Then the room fell into silence. ----- Yes, I just killed myself off. Have fun with the plot Good luck trying to wrap this up quickly~
