"Perfect. Allow them in." He smiled as his eyes drifted towards his monitor, looking at his guests who were unaware of the camera in the room they were in. The man noticed that the camera on the outside showed something very interesting, something that could make everything more complete. He quickly yelled out, "Actually, Audire, could you have our guests wait a little longer? It would seem that we have someone else coming to join us." The woman responded, "Yes sir," before shuffling away to keep the visitors in the room they were put in for a little longer. Misaki gave him confused look and asked, "Who is the person who is going to join us?" He gave a catlike grin. "Just someone you know~" She looked at him, even more confused when it clicked. It can't be... Can it?

After a while, Misaki decided it was best to stop beating herself up. Yes, she was foolish to trust someone so easily, but hopefully that decision would not come back to haunt her. She sat in the black chair, listening to the sounds the man produced, from the small clacking of his cell phone keys as he sent texts to someone to the slight squeak his chair made when he turned ever-so-slightly, as she formulated a plan. Misaki obviously need one. After all, going into anything without at least a ghost of a plan was a terrible idea. And while she couldn't think of every and all possibilities, she thought of a good amount. While she was planning how she wanted to kill someone if she had the advantage of being hidden but was out of bullets, the man asked, "Are you hungry?" She stared at him blankly, not knowing whether or not she should tell him she was starving. But her stomach spoke for her as it gave out a low growl. The man pressed the button on his intercom. "Bring in something to eat for out guest Audire." In an instant, the blonde woman from before came in, a cheeseburger, fries and a drink ready to be given to her. As Audire placed the food in front of her, Misaki looked at it suspiciously. She didn't want to be drugged, nor eat food that was raw. After the secretary lady left, she poked at the food to check if it was raw. Nope, looks well cooked if you ask me. The man noticed what she was doing and asked, "Is there a problem with the food?" She paused before responding, "Well, in the company of someone you just met, it never hurts to be suspicious of poisons, paralyzers and whatnot. And plus, that food came rather quickly, so it never hurts to make sure it was cooked properly." He assured, "Don't worry, it's free of anything that could harm you or disable you in any way. And it's cooked enough so you don't get food poisoning. After all, having an important link feeling ill isn't something I wish." Misaki gave him a suspicious glance, but decided to risk it and eat anyway, slowly chewing and ready to spit out at any time if she felt ill in any way. While she was just about to finish her meal, a knock was heard as Audire announced, "Aqulias is back with your guest sir." The man smiled as he responded, "Perfect. Allow them in."

Mom, while I do know the first name of my math teacher, I have no clue how to pronounce it since it's German. :| I've told you three times, stop asking.

"Abomination" found here

I have to say, this person did a really good job at mixing Call Me Maybe and Gangnam Style together.

After Aquilas left, only her and the man were left. They sat in silence for a while before Misaki asked, "Why am I here?" A pause ensued before he simply answered, "Because I want you here." "That's not what I wanted for an answer." "Well that's what you're getting. But do you find my company less desirable than your previous arrangement?" She fell silent, unable to deny that she did prefer being there than in a dark, cold room all alone. But nonetheless, she responded, "While I can't say that I preferred that hell, you're only winning by a little. Now tell me this: why am I... "special"?" "I'm afraid I can't answer that." Misaki shot out from her seat before slamming her hands on the desk and yelled, "I think I have a right to know, seeing how I have people after my head! And I would like to know why!" He answered, "True. I guess a small explanation wouldn't hurt. You see, everyone involved in this ordeal want something, whether it be a person, revenge, or justice. You are the link that connects everything together." She was confused. How could she, a ordinary girl till kidnapped, be important to something of what seemed to be so large-scale? Though this question floated in her mind, she had more important things to ask. "So what about Aeyra? Why can't I trust her?" "Because my dear, she isn't what she seems." "Oh, how helpful," Misaki replied, sarcasm dripping in her voice, "Care to elaborate?" He replied, "Well, have you ever considered that she may have not been kidnapped in the first place?" "What do you- No... There's no way that.... That she...." "Is on the side of the kidnappers?" "There's no way! I mean, she resented them as much as I did!" "There's such a thing as acting." "But..." "But what? I already know you had your suspicions earlier." Misaki felt as if she was breaking. She, someone who had long given up trusting someone, had learned to trust Aeyra so easily. They were so similar, she didn't want to believe that everything she had known was a lie. But deep within her, she knew that it was likely true, that the facts only added up if Aeyra was on the side of the bad guys. She sat back down, burying her head into her hands as she muttered, "I can't believe I was so stupid...." ---- (Sorry I haven't written for a while, been busy.)

"Call me Aquilas," the girl stated, her voice carrying a confident tone. As she spoke, her grey eyes gave a mysterious sparkle, "And you must be.... Misaki?" Misaki slid out of the back seat, true to her word, as she simply responded, “Yes.” As Aquilas began to glide up the granite staircase, she said, “Now let’s move on, shall we? Come on.” Taking her hand, she led the girl up the stairs and into the hotel. The interior was breathtaking, from the wallpaper with a slight antique ting to the marble floor and the crystal chandelier. It was quite obvious the hotel was meant to house upperclass people. Misaki admired the lobby as her and Aquilas kept walking towards the elevators. After pressing the button to call for the lift, they only had to wait a few seconds before the door slid open, revealing a man, in the hotel’s uniform, inside. Cool! thought Misaki as the other in their group of two told the man which floor to take them. Is he a doorman? Or an elevator man? Either way, still pretty sweet. It had been quite a while since she had felt enjoyment like this. A beep rang out before the doors opened, revealing a private suite. The two girls stepped out, still hand in hand, as they began to walk towards a mahogany door. Aquilas knocked, the noise resonating in the quiet room. From inside, the man on the phone said, “Come in my dears.” The girl opened the door slowly, though Misaki didn’t know why, before the two of them entered. From behind the dark colored desk, the man gave a smile. “Welcome.”

"Hello, dear Misaki. I presume you recognize me?" She froze. Her body began to tremble as her mind processed the voice. Misaki knew it from somewhere, somewhere that brought back bad memories. The voice continued to speak. "Surely you don't know why people want you, but remember this: DO NOT TRUST ANYONE. NOT EVEN AEYRA. You are very special. Very intriguing, very interesting. I look forward to meeting you." The call ended, a beep going on every few seconds. She dropped the phone, shocked from what the person had said. Not trust Aeyra? Why? She was like me, a prisoner. Even though she tried to convince herself otherwise, it was obvious there were strange things about the girl that didn't make sense. Like the iPod for example. When Misaki was first captured, she had everything on her taken, even her clothes. But Aeyra had managed to keep her device.... She felt a sinking feeling in her stomach as she realized that her friend may not be who she seems. The car stopped in front of a large building, a hotel it would seem as the name of the tower was Kurosawa Hotel. The girl, name still unknown, stepped out and admired the skyscraper. She did so for a few minutes before calling out to Misaki, "Come on. Get out." She paused for a second before saying, "Then tell me your name. Then I'll get out. I'd like to know what to call you after all."

Misaki looked shocked. How did this person know Aeyra? Just before she was about to answer, a voice called out, “Miss, find Ren. He’ll help you.” Though she didn’t know for sure who the person was addressing, she had a feeling it was towards her. She got up and looked around, trying to find the source of the voice. The person she had fallen on tried to get her attention, but she ignored them. They weren’t important now. She wanted to know who this “Ren” fellow was and if he could actually help her. In the distance, she could hear sirens. Must be the police. About time. Misaki noticed the mobster and his goons were running away, probably to avoid being arrested. In the meantime, a girl, only about a few years older than her, approached her. She was wincing and clutching to her side where bloodstains were. The girl asked, “Are you alright, miss?” Misaki gave a nod. As she opened her mouth to speak, the girl turned around and stood in front of her before saying, “Keep your word and leave her alone…” She was surprised by the words. Promise? From who? Is she talking about those mobsters? Suddenly, she heard a boom. She looked around frantically, wanting to know what blew up. She saw a black van in flames, though not knowing if it was a civilian’s car or perhaps the authorities. The girl who was standing in front of her looked at the van, gritting her teeth. I wonder if the car belonged to her? She seems to be upset over it blowing up… Another explosion occurred. This time, it was a car that had crashed into the airport, though once again, she didn’t know if it was a civilian’s car or the authorities. Or maybe it was the mobster’s car… Geez, I hope so. He deserved to burn. When she stopped looking at the scene and focused on the girl who seemed to want to help her out, she noticed a dart in her shoulder. She held something out, though she didn’t know what, and slipped it into her pocket. She then tried to say, “I’m E-“ before falling unconscious. Misaki was about to reach out to the girl and try to wake her up, but someone grabbed her arm and began to pull her with them. She struggled against the grip, not wanting to go with the person, but no avail. The person was far stronger than her and kept a tight grip on her. She was thrown into a car’s backseat with her captor before hearing the door slam shut and the wheels screeching. It began to drive away from the airport, away from the commotion, away from everyone there. No one said anything, though Misaki noticed that as the captor (who was a girl) looked out the back window, the driver sped up. Is someone chasing the car? The girl took out a gun from her bag before cocking it and sticking her head and arm out the window. Consecutive shots were fired. Misaki sat herself up and looked out the rear window, watching as the cars that were likely chasing them were on fire. Well, the wheels seem to be. She heard a beep as she looked at the girl take out a phone. She read it before quickly digging through her bag. She took out a bottle of diesel before uncapping it and throwing it at the vehicles behind. The hell?! Who has a bottle of diesel in their bag?! BOOM. Smoke and flames engulfed the cars chasing them as pieces from the vehicles were landing on the ground in a thud. Misaki just stared at the fire as the car kept going, away from the scene. The girl went back to sitting and facing the front, though she did glance back every now and then. After a few minutes, Misaki did the same, though instead of looking out back, she looked at the girl. Her skin was pale, as if it had never seen the sun. Her hair was black and straight, going down midback. The girl’s eyes were grey as stones. Her outfit was simple, everything in black. As Misaki studied her, she noticed that she beared a resemblance to someone she had once known. Sakila…. I wonder how she is…. I hope she’s fine… She cared deeply for Sakila and just hoped she hadn’t gotten herself killed trying to find her. Misaki then realized something, though it really had nothing to do with what she was thinking about before. Is it really safe to be with this person? Couldn’t she be the bad guy? She reached for her knife slowly, trying not to alert the person next to her. She wanted answers. And asking nicely probably wasn’t going to get them, especially seeing how she had just blown up two cars. Just as Misaki gripped her weapon, the girl spoke. “Don’t even try,” she said, “unless you have a death wish.” She stopped, but asked, “Then tell me this: Who are you and why do you want me?” ~~~~ In the hands of the person who had bumped into who they thought was Aeyra was the left behind iPod Touch, scrolling through the words typed out. They were disappointed in themselves, being unable to talk to the girl for more than a second before losing her, but they were determined to find her again. "Aeyra... I'll find you. Don't worry." ------ (BTW, the person I bumped into/the person in this last part can really be anyone.)

Misaki glanced around as she ran around, still trying to survey the scene. She stopped on her tracks as she saw a face she knew, it was that mobster dude. She swore in her head as she began to hide within the crowds. If I get caught, I'll be captured again! Maybe even killed... I can't die, not yet. She grabbed a gun from her pocket and cocked it, making sure to be ready. She saw the men still looking at her, so she kept running, she looked back every few seconds to make sure they were far enough away to not be able to hit her accurately/chasing her. Being unaware of who was around her for a second, she ran into someone before falling on top of them. The iPod Touch fell out of her pocket and tumbled onto the ground, turning on in the process. She noticed briefly that the screen picture was of Aeyra's name as she tried to reach for it. However, the person she fell on top of grabbed it before her and asked, "... Aeyra? Is that you?"
-
Misaki sat on the floor, guns pointed at her, she glanced around, waiting for a chance to escape to appear. Suddenly, the door behind her opened up before a thud was heard and the slamming of doors. She looked to see what had caused the noise to see Aeyra. Forgetting for a moment that she was having guns pointed at her, she cried happily, "Aeyra! You're safe!" As soon as she said it, a gun butt smashed into her back, one of the men warning, "Shut up!" Misaki ignored the man as she went over to help Aeyra up and gave her a quick hug as she murmured into her friend's ear, "Thank god you're safe." Aeyra grinned as she whispered back, "Well, it's going to take a lot more to kill me." Outside the room, a person yelled out, "Guards! Into the halls. I need to talk to you." As soon as they exited, Aeyra quickly sliced the ropes bounding Misaki's limbs before handing her an iPod Touch and a Swiss Army knife. "Listen up," she said hastily, "I already have our other pal who helped me get out taking care of the guards outside. I need you to take this and go to the Tampa Airport. When I escaped, I contacted people to help us and to go there to meet us there. Give the iPod to them." Misaki stuttered, "Wai- Wh-What!? Why can't we go together!? I can't leave you here!" "Look, just do this for me, OK?" "I'm not leaving you!" "DO IT! Don't worry. I promise I'll be behind you after I grab something." "But-!" "Misaki, please..." She looked at her friend, feeling so confused as to what to do. She wanted to leave so badly, but to leave Aeyra? She didn't want to. But she did say she would follow... Misaki let out a sigh, "... Fine. BUT you have to come, ok?" Aeyra smiled, "Of course. I'll meet up at the airport. Now go! Before you lose your chance at freedom." The two got up and barged through the door, seeing the guards' dead bodies lying nearby. Misaki didn't even wince at the scene. Worse things have happened to far less deserving people. She swiped a few guns, sticking them into her waistband. The girls took a glance at each other, giving the other a nod before running into opposite directions. Thankfully for Misaki, she knew the basic outline of the building due to her past escape plans. As she ran, panting a little, she kept looking back every once in a while, wondering where Aeyra was. But most of her thoughts were occupied more towards as to why the building was so quiet. Normally there would be people. But none were to be found. Is this a trap? No, Aeyra wouldn't lead me to a trap. Maybe everyone had to leave. After all, that mobster head dude had left pretty abruptly.... After running for at least twenty minutes, she finally saw a hallway with a big door at the end. She grinned as she picked up the pace. She was going to be free! Finally, after so long, she was going to be free! She threw the door open and ran out, not stopping until she was at least a mile away. Misaki panted as she slouched against a tree, finally taking a break after all of her running. Her body felt hot and sticky from the sweat dripping down her face, though the cool air breezing through helped cooled her down. After a few minutes of rest, she got up and started to go towards where she saw buildings. She walked down the road she never knew existed, holding a thumb ups out towards said road in an attempt to hitchhike. Probably not the best idea, but if she had to walk to whole way, it was likely to take a few days at the very least. How lucky that a car came passing by and slowed down before honking at the girl. The window rolled down before an average-looking woman leaned towards her and asked, "Looking lost there little miss. You needing a ride?" Misaki paused for a second, thinking about whether it was actually a good idea to hitchhike, before answering, "Yeah. Could you give me a lift the airport?" The man smiled, "Of course! Get in." She slid into the car's backseat, knife hidden and ready in her hand in case this was a trick. Misaki noticed there were two cardboard boxes next to her, though she didn't know what they contained. The car ride went peacefully for a while, music filling the would-be silence. The woman asked, "Say, your clothes look rather... Worn. Do you need some new clothes? I was heading over to the Tampa Goodwill Center to donate some stuff since I'm from a small town that doesn't have one, but it looks like you may need some of my stuff more than Goodwill does. Don't worry, I should have some clothes that fit you. I have a daughter who was like you in a way when she was your age, physically. Tall and thin. If you want any, just look in the box next to you. Oh, and if you want shoes, they're in the other box."" Misaki gave said box a glance before looking at her own outfit. New clothes were clearly needed, especially since she would catch stares in such old clothes. She quickly said, "Thank you" before ripping the boxes open. There were plenty of different types of clothing, from teeshirts and jeans to dresses. She grabbed a simple teeshirt, a sweatshirt, jeans, socks and sneakers from the two boxes and changed into them before closing them up. Surprisingly, they fit her rather well. She made sure she had the guns she had swiped earlier with her and hid them in the sweatshirt pocket. The woman smiled as she looked at her, "You look great my dear." As they approached the airport, flames and screams were all around. As soon as the car stopped, Misaki got out as fast as she could as she surveyed the scene. Plenty of dead bodies and debris scattered around. A bomb maybe? She was about to run and look around further, but before doing so, turned around to thank the woman who drove her here. But the car was gone. Misaki looked around, shocked that the woman had already driven away, and wondered where she had went before pushing the thought out of her mind. She had more pressing matters to take care of. ~~~ "I got her to the airport Aeyra." "Perfect," she grinned as she lounged on a couch, "Good work." Aeyra hung up her cell phone as she said to herself, "I hope you don't let me down Misaki..." ------- (Ta da Geez, I feel that's the most I've written in quite a while. =X)

One of the men grabbed her from behind, rather roughly at that, and held her arm tightly. The men in the room gave a grunt of understanding towards their leader as he walked out. Now that the Russian (or what was to be assumed to be Russian) mafia mob boss dude had left, she looked around to get a better feel of the place. After all, she was probably going to be here for a while. As she scouted the area, she noticed right away that the other two with her, Aeyra and the other person were gone. She actually felt a little worried, not for the other person of course but for Aeyra. She knew what happened to people if they cross the line that the person behind everything made. As her head filled with what terrible things could be done to her friend, she felt a little sick. It's been a while since she's actually cared about the wellbeing of someone other than herself. As she realized the mental hole she was digging for herself, she tried to stop thinking about it. Focus Misaki! Worrying about Aeyra will get you nowhere. She made it out (even if she got caught) and was out for longer than anyone had ever gone. She'll be fine. For now, worrying about the problem on hand is more important.... ---- (@OTTD, whoops, sorry about that =X)

1) Captain America and Iron Man, all the way 2) Wrong section. This probably should be under Music, Movies and TV.
