Nothing new about his expression, it's just the old comic but entertaining Kogoro expression. It's on the second movie.

Yeah, caricature or exaggerations makes anime funny and cool. I like the expression of Kogoro when he is about to ride a helicopter or actually riding a helicopter.

I wish magic kaito will start running again with the other detectives like Shinichi, Hakuba and others being active. For instance, they have a common enemy or solve a deeper or larger mystery and they team up.

For now, I don't know japanese so I prefer the english-Dubbed versions. English-Subbed version is good since it's accurate but, unlike other animes, Detective Conan plots is sophisticated, one must fully utilize the ears and eyes. In english-subbed version, I keep pausing to not miss the subtle details. But once I learn japanese, problem solved. But same to you guys, I like the japanese names to be retained too.

Talking about cool anime music, pokemon music. Especially "to be a master", with it's fast tempo coupled w/ it's meaningful lyrics. It's definitely one of my all-time personal favorites. Also, Ohaiyou by hunter x hunter, it soothes me everytime I hear it and makes me recall my happy adventure-filled second year high school years - that's the exact year I meet hunterxhunter and detective conan - I listened to it in the morning before I jog. It reminds me how the world is filled w/ mysteries and rare entities waiting to be unraveled. Having a beautiful morning and facing adventures head-on.

Even if the way Kid executes his plan is cool especially when he disguises as Saguru Hakuba?

I watched Hajime no Ippo a long time ago in Philippine-dubbed version, so I reviewed it 3 months ago in english-subbed version. That was the first time I read the lyrics about 360 degrees. The reason I like that song even if I don't understand it, was when Ippo makes a victory or something meaningful happens to the story - naturally you get satisfied, amazed, learn something etc... The momentum is preserved and intensified by an ending song or pre-ending song. That usually happens in another animes or other shows, and is the primary reason why I or we(if we think and feel the same) get to like a music we didn't even understand.

I haven't read the manga yet but I'd like to if I have the time.

Which anime music do you like most? Or anime music that has a special meaning to you. Or the influence it got. You can write everything and anything under the sun concerning anime music or it's immediate connection - the anime itself. As for me, who likes writing and reading tend to admire the lyrics about anime music. They are like poems converted to songs. The lyrics contains powerful wisdoms hidden inside them, like the proverbs. If one could only decode them and manipulate them properly, one could live a life as exciting as the animes we admire "easier said than done but that's life". Though I'm not religious, I like the proverbs. I'm interested in things like "a secret inside a secret inside a secret...... Anime music are like extensions of metaphor or other figurative languages - so are the animes itself. Listening to them reminds me about the exciting stories of Detective Conan, Magic Kaito, Hunter X Hunter, One Piece...... Forgive me if I write things too deep, it's a hidden part of me. Aand most of the time, I don't show it to other people or more precisely I don't implement it to myself most often even if there's no people around. I don't want to look like a nerd or a nerd in it's true nature but I don't criticize nerds. It's just cool to have something like deep wisdom like Conan and Kaito.. Even though I wrote those serious deep lines, I'm not gonna turn into a very serious person like Shinobu Sensui of YuYu Hakusho[ghost files/(ghost figher)], he's so serious about the world that it twisted his mind. That's the point.

With DC excluded here's my list: 1.)Hunter x Hunter(hunting mysteries and rare items - very special to me along w/ DC, they're like brothers. 2.)One Piece(unlimited adventures) 3.)Magic Kaito(mindgames and tricks from logic) 4.)Hajime no Ippo(As a kid, i never liked boxing except those quick-footed and who have graceful moves. But when i met ippo, there i realized. Now I'm reading it, but still far away) 5.)Flame of Recca (classic) I can't help it, I'll add 6.)Naruto (the story of Itachi - it's one of a kind) 7.)Bleach (speed devil swordsman Ichigo; evil intelligent Aizen;awesome unpredictable Kenpachi)

I first saw it in a tv commercial back in 2001 on a major Philippine TV Network and I instantly got interested in it since it is a mind game - a game of logic. I love science, so watching an anime with so much applications on science is just like heaven. It aired during afternoon weekdays and I watched it after school. At night, I also watch Hunter X Hunter: DC in afternoon and HxH at night - an amazing combo. My interest in science grew even further and influences my perspective in life just like the other animes that it offered. DC is first the reason why I get interested in psychology. During that year, even though I read a lot of interesting topics, I never had read a short story voluntarily. I only read short stories in school where it is a compulsory topics like the english subject. Because of DC, I read my first 2 short stories about hunters "The Most Dangerous Game by Richard Connel" and "The Adventure of the Speckled Band by Arthur Conan Doyle". One of the teachings I learned from it is to "Never trust to general impressions but concentrate on details".

Hi!Ive always wanted to go to Japan one day - the home where great animes are made, animes(not just detective conan) that i've been watching since I was a kid. I was glad that it aired on the Philippines back in 2001. I'm planning to learn Japanese since then so that I can watch it w/out reading english subtitles since English-dubbed detective conan and other animes are not always available.

How about detective academy q anime series and it's live-action version of it.

The greater power, the greater the responsiblity. Since he has an exceptional deductive reasoning power, problems that require intense logic naturally comes to him. Maybe that's how the world operates with powerful persons like him - like an invisible, unknowable, mysterious natural law that we humans couldn't confirm it exactly. That's just a theory anyway. But well, having such abilities would go to waste if there are no opportunities to apply it.
