I think Ran....... Just because they've been friends ever since they were little and they are childhood soul mates. They have a great chemistry together and both care deeply for each other. Though Shinishi is now Conan, he still tries everyway he can to protect Ran. And Ran would wait for Shinishi no matter what. Plus, they both admit (Not to each other directly) that they like each other. Ai and Conan could be really good friends. Ai's been through a lot in her life. With her parents and sister both dead and a huge organization after her. It's hard for her to make friends and to get too close to people because she never really knows who to trust or not. And now with Conan and the Professure. She might have felt like she found true friends. Sure, she acts really cold on the outside, but she is a decent person on the inside.

I think they both share something with each other but don't realize the fact that they do. In some of the episodes they always secretly help out each other, and sometimes Ai would stare at Conan or Conan would somehow save Ai. I remember in one episode when Ai was really sick, Conan came to take care of her.

I don't think it would be a real big deal. I mean sure when his father was still alive he might have stolen somethings valuable but the kid now I don't recall him actually stealing anything. He just goes out there and proves that the thief is still alive. In the end, he always some how returns them....... Plus, if I remember correctly, The Kid actually saved Conan's life a couple of times and secretly helped them too.

Maybe Sherry was born to work for the Black Organization. I don't know this for a fact but didn't Sherry's parents and sister all work for them. Maybe Gin knows Sherry so well because he knew her from when she was younger.......and he is angry she betrayed him and the organization.

One of the thing I find funny is that a lot of people looks like Shinishi. Take Heiji for an example. He just has darker skin and a different hair do. In some of the Detective Conan episodes he actually portraited as Shinishi...... and The Kid. He looks like Shinishi as well. Another thing I find amusing is that Conan looks EXACTLY like Shinishi when he was younger....... Why hasn't Ran found out yet?

If we are speaking of reality with Detective Conan, then Ayumi wouldn't stand a chance. Conan isn't a real! It's Shinichi portraying him. Sooner or later the Black Organization will be caught and destroyed and Conan will be back to Shinichi. Why break the little girl's heart later? I personally don't think Conan/Shinichi and Ayumi would ever match. As with Ran and Ai. They both have been through a lot. Ran and Shinichi have been friends ever since they are little kids and both care deeply for each other. Though they both won't admit it, they both have a crush on each other....... but the thing with Ai is that she's been through a lot as a person. She never really had too much freedom amongest herself and both parents and sister died and now a huge organization is after her. Shinichi and Ai seems to have a huge amount of trust with each other and etc............. and in some of the episodes of Detective Conan, a lot of people seem to notice that Ai might be interested in Shinichi and sometimes Shinichi seems to be interested back..... It's a complicated one.
