  1. 1. You get up early and stay up late to go on DCW. 2. You have attempted to wear a Poker Face in front of your friends. 3. You have tried soccer despite not liking it before. 4. You have assembled a mini-detective kit. 5. You have often thought about how cool it would be if you managed to create one of Conan's gadgets.
  2. Lol. I wrote a paper for Science once, and we split into small groups to read it out lod. After I read it, I looked up, I asked, "I think this sounds too much like a college paper." My whole group agreed.
  3. Er, how? Oh, and Xenonkid, if you don't want to give up on him, the only way your heart's not gonna break is if you somehow get together. That'd mean a lot of work on your part. If he doesn't like you naturally, first think if you irritate him or anger him a lot. But if he's okay with you naturally, don't change it. These things take time.
  4. *shrugs* Just random stuff about apoptosis and stuff. It's actually programmed cell death which I find pretty interesting. The process is really complicated though. I think it would be hard to stimulate in an actual pill though...it seems to be natural and often beneficial for the body. It's the process that gives you fingers. The only way it could cause death might be if it lead to cancer (which is possible) or if all of the cells experienced it at the same instant. This, however, is unlikely. Sometimes I think I sound too much like a college student.
  5. I agree. Huh. I don't think I have a character. I feel so sad...
  6. Wondering what in the world Mohorovicic is going to write.
  7. Actually, researching APTX4869 is interesting, I've been looking through articles on Apoptosis and necrosis for a few days now...
  8. Well, thanks.
  9. O.o I'm not that good of a writer...oh, and you had a typo in there. Sorry. Just my writer's mind taking over again. Hmm, true. 1. DESCRIPTION. I don't care how amazing your dialogue is, a story isn't complete without description. How am I supposed to know what Conan's basement looks like? 2. EMOTION. No emotion, no story. i hate stories without emotion. Hate 'em, hate 'em, hate 'em. 3. DIALOGUE. Despite emotion and description being the most important (I think emotion is slightly more important, but I can't be sure), dialogue is often needed. So, do try to include some. 4. THE THESAURUS. The thesaurus is one of my best friends. It's the one that holds the key to treasures of the world. Like Forever said above, use it as much as you like. 5. RESEARCH. The essential part of any story. To confirm any beliefs you've stated in your story, you must have research. This is especially needed in Adventure stories. You want to make sure your info is correct. Usually, I * the points and then write a bit about them at the bottom where the Author's note is. If you were writing an angst fic or something like that, this isn't required, since angst is more about emotions, which is why research is at the bottom. Research makes your story much more realistic. 6. REPEATING YOURSELF. Gah. I hate it, absolutely hate it when someone repeats the same adjective/adverb in a sentence. I'm being slightly hypocritical, but you should strive to get rid of all errors. 7. BETA. This is important. It's at the bottom, because it's likely the last (or rather, second last) thing you'll be doing. GET A BETA. They help so much. They catch most of your errors and flaws, including spelling and grammar, not to mention plot devices. There are a few very good ones out there. 8. EDIT. CHECK. DO IT. I DON'T CARE HOW MUCH YOU HATE CHECKING YOUR TESTS, DO IT. I AM HORRIBLE WITH CHECKING MY TESTS, BUT I PAINSTAKINGLY GO OVER MY STORY AT LEAST 3 TIMES FOR CHECKING BEFORE AND AFTER I SEND IT TO MY BETA. THIS IS ESSENTIAL. IF THAT SENTENCE REQUIRES YOU TO READ OVER IT SEVERAL TIMES FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND (excluding riddles and such) THE READER WON'T GET IT EITHER. There's probably more I could add, but first, it would mainly be for people using FF.net, and second, it would probably tire you out. So I'm just gonna give you my top 8 rules. Oh, and good luck.
  10. Lol. I'm also thinking that I want the guy I like to get a girlfriend quickly. As in really really soon. As in now. Then maybe I'll finally be reminded that love never works for me. I'd rather have the whole world be happy and me be sad. I'd rather have him be happy and me be sad. I'd rather help others. Mine will never work... *continues ranting*
  11. ... Chelsea, you're slow. I think I'm a dog. While dogs like to run, they can be lazy as well. And I'm lazy. By far.
  12. ... I'm definitely not that much of a prankster. LOL. @Stopwatch: Hmm...possible... I think I'm like this random person on the street who has no idea what they're doing there, simply because my personality doesn't fit in DC.
  13. Your book needs some updating...*grabs book* *scribbles* *returns book* THE BOOK: That was pure randomness, so ignore what most if it said. But I wasn't kidding on #1.
  14. You are a bit young for eighth grade...young for this site? You're on the younger side, but you're not too young. I've seen someone who's 11 on here. Perverted? Nah.
  15. Tsk tsk, being evil is NOT a virtue, Aeyra.
  16. Yes, it was meant to be angst, Kid. So you were the one who gave me rep! Wait...just one or two? Because I have two ghost rep right now, you gave me one...who gave me the other? You can't rep a post twice and my story got 2 rep.
  17. You're mor of an Akako. I think I'm like...I dunno. Would someone find someone that I'm like?
  18. I saw one...and I was gonna look at another. Cean-chan is simple.

    Chelsea -> Sea -> Ocean -> Cean -> Cean-chan

  19. O.o I won't object to the <3 to be hugged part... I think I'm a baka horse. First off, a horse is always free, always running. It's amazing to see wild horses run. Second, horses can be very friendly, but there are plenty that are shy and sensitive. Horses also represent me, the daydreamer. I've loved horses ever since 2nd grade and have riding classes every week.
  20. Bye, Cean-chan! (Why do you call me Pyre-chan now? O.o Pyre is fine, you don't have to add -chan to it)

  21. Nice... Beautiful indeed. I'm thinking about the fact that since my love life will fail forever, I might as well devote my time to helping other people with theirs.
  22. They're either on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays. Usually it's afternoon to late night. Games appear on the DCTP forum with rules as well as who's GMing, but you can check the MM sign up sheet for a basic layout on timing. I'd say the earliest would be around 7 PM EST for Friday, and probably 3 PM EST for Saturday or something like that.

  23. She is. I was reading Coming Home again earlier today, and despite a few grammar errors I spotted, the storyline was everlastingly good. So...read it! Start from "I'm Already There", then go to "Stronger than I Am", and finally read the multi-chapter (the rest were oneshots) "Coming Home". She also writes other fics, as well as KaiShin, but those are the ones that are ShinRan as well as the ones I like most. Oh, and if you could, take a look at "Relative Truth" for me, would you? I haven't gotten a chance to look over it yet, but I'm considering putting it in the top 20. The other three are already in.
  24. Okay, so, humor... *scrambles off to write*

And I don't really care what you give me, being there is good enough.
