But then nighttime would be decreased by the same number of hours.

Alright, Santa's pretty much said everything I wanted to say, though I do feel I need to add some things. If you find something "really really hard" then ask for help. If it's a homework problem, go through the steps as best as you can even if you end up with the wrong answer. Then ask friends how they got the answer, not if you can copy their work. When you grow up you'll realize there is no shame in being wrong and asking questions; school isn't all about being the "coolest" kid in your class. If your classmates can't help then ask the teacher. Ignoring a problem you can't do is the worst possible option. Figure out how to get it done, and then get it done. Sure you're young now, but if you refuse to start building good habits now, then don't throw tantrums over your first failing grade when you enter high school and puberty kicks into high gear and expect others to sympathize.

Hm, a piercing stare like this? I mean, crap, wrong picture...

Oh shoot, yeah, forgot to mention the original source material was titled "All You Need Is Kill", but I think you figured that out already.

You should check out the manga or light novel counterpart. It's drastically different, so you can see it is as an alternate (and original) route to the story.

Kenzi must have nice eyes.

^What I was going to post until I checked your profile and realized you'e 10 years old, like Moon Kid. God bless your innocent and naive soul.

You go to sleep awfully early for someone who does all that before bedtime. Don't you have any homework or tests to study for?

Different strokes for different folks. I have very high expectations and standards when it comes to anime, for good or for worse. I'm standing by my statement that MK1412's animation has improved since episode 1 but has not yet reached average level yet. "Amazing" is reserved for only a select few anime that not only have good animation but also take directional and artistic risks as well as provide a unique and groundbreaking visual experience. I would rather not water down the definition of the word "amazing" by tacking it on to MK1412. -
Heh, it feels like forever since I was ten. I didn't even get an e-mail address until I was in middle school, let alone a forum account. Times they are a changin', though I guess I've always been a late bloomer so maybe I'm the only one my age who's really noticed the stark difference from years ago. And not to mention I'll be going to college next year.

Still can't get over the fact that you're only 10 years old.

I used to sneak downstairs and take out my DS from wherever my parents hid it to play all night long. My first all-nighter was in fourth grade.

Speaking of waking up... I wonder if this is a thing. If it is I need one right now.

It's not too long at all, but it also feels a bit on the short side. It's not too big of a deal, it just means I have more motivation to go back to the track over and over again.

I know, I've only scratched the surface with the games I have so far, but in college I plan on buying tons of games I've been meaning to get around to.

Just finished Kyousougiga and I loved it. It's very similar to Mawaru Penguindrum: both start off random and lighthearted with only a hint of drama and build into something grander and wilder than anticipated, both have bright and dynamic art paired with amazing animation, and both can be at one moment saddening and another moment heartwarming. There's a lot of symbolism in both and both can be confusing watches for those who don't want to invest the time in analysis, though Penguindrum is longer and thus has more time to flesh out characters and layer on the motifs. Liked Penguindrum better than Kyousougiga, but still loved the latter a lot. It's not a show for everyone, but definitely worth a shot for those willing to try something new or for fans of Penguindrum.

Fixed it for you. MK1412's animation is getting better over time. I think A-1 Studio initially underestimated the number Kaito Kid fangirls and are only now deciding to pump money into the series. Either that, or a ton of animators were freed up after SAO II ended. It's probably a mix of the both, though more of the latter. Either way, it's a stretch to say MK1412 has "amazing" animation given there's not much movement (as opposed to an action anime) and it doesn't exactly have an impressive frame rate. -
Fortunately, or unfortunately if you're a purist, they made one single lap count as 3 laps in MK8 and now the race ends really quickly.
