********************************* "I can tell you still don't trust them," commented Nero conversationally as he looked at Pyre, who was sitting next to him. There was a cup of hot coffee in his hands- it'd taken begging, pleading, and finally a serious warning of what would happen if it wasn't given to him before he'd manage to obtain his precious caffeinated drink. "Why don't you ask them some questions? I know you want to." "How do you know?" challenged Pyre, skeptically eyeing her new comrade. Aeyra had said it was okay to trust him, but something about him made her uneasy. "What makes you think I want to ask them questions?" Aeyra flinched as Pyre's finger pointed at her. "Well, I can tell by your eyes, facial expression, the way you move, and my guess of your thinking process. People are easy to read." Nero shrugged, looking a little bored. He would never admit it even under the threat of death, but without his constant supply of coffee, he actually felt- he shuddered- tired. And he wasn't happy about it, not in the slightest. Before Pyre could respond, he continued. "You're afraid that they haven't regained their memories, that they've been sent here to kill you guys- don't deny it, you know they already tried to- and you'll have to leave them again, or at the very worst, kill them. Your reaction confirms all, um- what was your name again?" "I get called a lot of different names," hissed Pyre, starting to get seriously pissed off by this boy. "I go by IdentityUnknown, IU, Kaichou, Pyre, Jean, Pipi-chan, lots of names." "I'll just go with Pyre. It's fun to say," responded Nero. "But seriously, just ask them. I don't lie, at least, I wouldn't lie here. Otherwise you'll never be able to fully trust them." He took the last sip of his coffee, frowning when he drained the final drop. "Goddamn it! I ran out of coffee! Now what am I supposed to do? I knew I should never have agreed to come when there wouldn't be coffee!" Chaos gave him a light punch on the top of his head. "Nero, shut up. I think you're starting to annoy her," he hinted, looking at the glaring girl. "Are you yawning? That's nice. You're actually getting tired, aren't you, Nero?" "I need my coffee," Nero mumbled, stifling back a yawn. "Didn't you say could quit drinking coffee if you wanted to?" asked Krev, looking at the upset Nero with an amused face. "If I wanted to. Which I most certainly don't! I can't live without coffee!" pouted Nero. "People can live without coffee. I'm living proof," teased Chaos, turning (one of) Nero's signature phrases against him. "Just shut up..." Aeyra coughed. "Pyre, you can ask us questions if you want." "Don't need to. I can tell from how you're acting. And if you were really sent to kill us, I don't see how he could be of much use," said Pyre, rolling her eyes. "Don't doubt Nero," warned Aeyra, Chelsea, Misaki, and Tsukiko nodding behind her. "He's quite scary when he wants to be. He's the one who broke us out, he's the one who plans all of the attacks, and he's a genius. I mean, he sneaked out of the Organization once a week anyways to get Starbucks coffee, so he has to be pretty skilled to do it." Nero beamed. "The only problem is his coffee/sugar addiction." "It's not an addiction," he denied flatly. "It's a necessity of life." "Humans don't need-" "Oh shut up Chaos!"

Keep them. We'll give them to Chaos as a gift. ^^

************************* "Okay, so tonight the security seems to be pretty loose," said Nero, taking out a laptop and quickly making a somewhat detailed sketch of their escape route. "As I've told you all, it would be very unwise to fire on the guards. It'd only send a storm of them after us. Therefore I propose we use these sleeping darts I found." "Sleeping darts you found?" repeated Brise dubiously, looking at Nero. "Seriously Nero, what rooms do you pass by when you go to get your coffee?" "Not to go get my coffee. My late-night excursions," answered Nero, taking a bite of a chocolate bar. "So basically, we go by this basic route as an outline. But we'll be separated into groups of two, each following a similar route that connects at the end. Ny- I mean, Aeyra," Nero corrected himself hastily. "Have you told your outside group where to wait?" "Yeah," replied Aeyra somewhat nervously, wondering when or if Nero was going to reprimand her for stealing his cell phone. "You can have your phone back if you want it." "I let you steal it for a reason." Nero turned to face Chaos. "Chaos, have you decided on the groups?" "Each group will be compromised with one of us," Chaos gestured to his group, the ones with more experience, "and one of you girls. That way, you girls won't be hopeless trying to make your way through the crowd, and we can make up excuses if necessary- we know what works and what doesn't. It's simply what happens when you follow Nero out late at night to grab Starbucks coffee." "How often does that happen?" asked Chelsea. "About once a week. In fact, I did it so much, breaking in and out of the grounds, that they simply just gave me the password. They even dedicated it to me," he snickered. "The hint is Nero. The answer is coffee." "This is nice and all, but I believe planning is more important!" snapped Brise. "We're supposed to be preparing for an escape mission in two hours and you guys are talking about COFFEE!!" "Well, we already charted everything out," protested Nero, looking slightly miffed. "And about the coffee situation.... How am I going to get enough coffee once we get out of here?" "Maybe you'll actually learn to sleep," suggested Krev, ignoring Nero's glare. "I'm serious Nero, that stuff is not healthy for you. You are addicted to the caffeine and the sugar!" "I could stop anytime I wanted to," replied Nero loftily. "I just don't want to." Krev suppressed a laugh, and Chaos rolled his eyes, calling the group back to order. "Okay, the groups are as follows. Nero, you're going with J- Chelsea. Brise, you're going to go with Tsukiko. Krev, Misaki. Aeyra... You're going to come with me. Any questions? No? Good." ************************************* "Chaos," whispered Aeyra as the pair hid underneath a bush, dodging a beam of light that missed them by mere inches. "Nero told me you had your doubts about whether being in the Organization was right or not... What made you think like that?" "Laela did," he replied, eyes misting over with the fog of memory. "She always told me that killing senselessly was bad even before we fell in love. And once we did, I started to see things her way. When she died... I wanted to just go back to before I knew what loving felt like, but I couldn't forget how Laela lived. Her disgust with our methods, and the way she tried to make our missions do as little harm as possible. Her bravery, her intelligence, her everything." "Chaos, shouldn't we be moving now?" inquired Aeyra as the guard moved away. "Quite right." Chaos's eyes refocused on the empty space in front of them. "Okay, we're almost in sight of the exit. See the top of that pointed fence? That's the exit. We're meeting the others in that ditch right there though- I think I see Nero there already. He's the one that's going to crack through the gate though." ************************************** "And...." whispered Nero, quietly disarming the locks, dressed in stark black as to blend in with the night, a hood covering his bright blond hair. "It's open. We'll be able to get out without triggering an alarm." They strolled through the gates, leaving the huge building behind them. From the outside it looked just like another corporation building... Big, tall, normal. Nothing out of place. Within ten minutes of walking, they met with the other group. They stared at the Organization-trained additions in surprise. Aeyra gave a heavy sigh. She hadn't exactly told them about their new friends, not wanting to get buried in a barrage of texts. "Guys, these are our friends. They're not dangerous." KKLT put down the gun she'd held up. "This is Nero, Krev, Brise, and Chaos." She pointed to each in turn. Nero smiled and gave a small wave, Krev nodded casually, as if stuff like this happened everyday, Brise murmured a soft 'hello' and Chaos just stood still, completely stationary. "Trust me, we'll be ten times more powerful with them on this team."

Want me to write? I will if you guys want me to.
-
Well, I'm here. I'll let someone else orchestrate the escape. Of course, they'll have to do it within the next six hours or else I'll be unable to restrain myself anymore.
-
We went in to save our hides, that's why. Remember? We didn't expect any of that.... though I did invent Chaos... ... I don't think inside spies are exactly necessary. What we need to do is somehow link up to the FBI, have them make a decision, and then work as agents attacking the Organization like Akai, Jodie, and James Black do. We can have Mark be an inside spy. He does make me think of Kir in a way... This'll be his hospital time.
-
But that'd be too direct and frankly repetitive, because we all know we'll have to save them eventually, therefore pulling ourselves into a giant mess. Again. Unless, of course, it's Mark. Where is he right now anyways? Last I remember he crawled into a van and claimed he was dying.
-
Nice! The only argument I have is that his head is a little big... I wanna just put cat ears on Nero... He'd be so adorable with them.... *slinks off into imagination world* @Chelsea- I'm drawing Chaos and Laela right now. Is that good enough a compromise?
-
Okay, I'll write. ******************************* "Aren't you coming?" asked Nero impatiently, waiting outside the closet. "No, I want to think of how to approach them," said Aeyra sweetly, giving a mysterious smile. "Nero, if you're really going to consider this, can you talk to Chaos? He's probably closest to you- I can tell by the way you interact." "I'll think about it, just like everything else." Nero paused, taking a huge slurp of coffee. He walked off, leaving Aeyra alone in the closet. She couldn't believe she had succeeded, that it had been that easy to steal the cell phone out of his pocket. But there was something at the edge of his gaze, something that hinted he knew. Perhaps he had, and had pretended not to notice so she could message her friends outside. She shook her head- sometimes Nero could be so darn confusing. Whipping out the phone, Aeyra began to swiftly type. I know you're probably planning to sneak in here, but that's one of the stupidest moves you could make right now. Tsukiko already got in, but I think it was just barely. It's tense enough as it is in here. Right now, we're planning an escape. If all goes well, we'll be out by tomorrow. If it doesn't... Don't expect another text from me. ~Aeyra She hit sent. Now all there was to do was the persuasion. Please let this work... **************************************************** Nero couldn't believe he was doing this. All his life he'd never really taken an escape proposition seriously, but now... He was actually planning to act on it. "Chaos," called Nero, the other blond boy glaring at him. "Remember what you told me the other day? About... how this doesn't feel right? How we should... leave?" "Yeah, I remember. But I was being stupid, I was being-" "They all regained their memories." Chaos's eyes widened. "And they want to leave. And take us with them if possible." "That's crazy-" "I said I would go with them. If you, Krev, and Brise agreed to go as well. And if you said yes, they would too." Nero's stare was challenging. "This is your chance to escape, Chaos, what will you do?" ******************************************************* "Guys," whispered Aeyra, as they crouched over a game of Monopoly in their own room, the newbies and the veterans having separated themselves. "Nero said he's thinking about it. Joining us." "That's good!" exclaimed Chelsea, smiling. "But he says he won't go unless all of them'll go with him." Misaki grimaced. "Well... I actually have something I could use to convince Chaos. But I think it would be wrong, and kind of twisted. It would hurt him." "Let us see," suggested Tsukiko. "We don't have to show him or tell him if we decide not to." "It's a letter." Misaki pulled the neatly folded paper out of her a pocket. "Laela wrote it to Chaos before she died." Aeyra snatched it from her hand, and quickly read, quietly handing it to Chelsea with a subdued look on her face. "Um... I'm slightly confused. Who's Laela?" Tsukiko inquired, attracting nervous stares from all around. "Who was," corrected Aeyra gently. "Apparently she was the girl Chaos loved with all his heart, and she loved him back. She was in this group, but she was killed for being a traitor. Only Chaos was supposed to know, but I think Nero guessed it. Mark was the one who killed her." "I think we should show him," said Chelsea, eyes glittering with resolve. "This letter is his by right anyways... Whether he wants to read it or not is a different question." "Then I'll take it to him." Aeyra took the letter in her hands, walking out into the hallway. "The less people there are, the less people Chaos will maim if it goes wrong anyway," she muttered. ******************************************************************** Chaos's skin was stretched tight over his knuckles, having clenched them into fists for the past five minutes after reading Laela's letter to him. Aeyra thought he was going to explode, that he was going to yell, that he was going to say he was never going to leave and 'get the hell out of here'. But he didn't. "Laela wanted to take this Organization down. But she can't do it anymore. So I'll do it for her." He stared at Krev and Brise. "Are you two coming?" "There's no way we're going to be left alone here," chimed in Brise, nodding her head. "And besides, they'd probably torture us until we told them where you went. It's a death sentence either way and I'd rather get a clean shot in the head then being whipped all over my body," said Krev, drawing a curious stare from Aeyra. "They do whip people here, you know." "I have the plans for tonight's security," announced Nero. "Nabbed them on the way to get my coffee." "You do everything when you're getting your coffee," sighed Chaos, slightly amused, though there were tears at the edges of his eyes. "Call in Rin, Jun, and Lunam." "You should call them Misaki, Chelsea, and Tsukiko. And call me Aeyra," said the girl as her friends walked in. "Those are our real names. You're going to get quite confused otherwise."
-
How about you guys stall going until we get out? That'll make this a whole lot simpler. You coming in is just going to make us start all over again. I'd be writing, but I have volleyball practice and I don't want to be late. Misaki or Chelsea, if you're on, write me trying to convince Brise and Krev to leave, and maybe even Chaos. I'll be back by 10:30 though, so maybe I could write that myself. And I agree with whoever said spying on the Org is too straightforward, risky, and somewhat... suicidal. (and it'd show that you really underestimate the org. Like, really really. *has idea* How about we pretend I just stole Nero's cell phone while talking to him... That way I could message you that we're on the way out.
-
@Misaki- Thanks! ^^ @Sayomi- So you guys are still carrying out that plan? I daresay we'll be out before you're in... I have plans. In fact, I'll write. *********************** It wasn't until the next afternoon when Aeyra managed to catch Nero alone, sneaking after him when he left to retrieve more of his precious coffee and pulling him into an empty room. Nero gave a slightly annoyed sigh. "What do you want?" he asked, eyes tight, voice taut. "Who got you grumpy?" teased Aeyra, rolling her eyes. "Have you figured you sleep is essential yet?" "It's like vegetables. Unfortunately necessary, but still so overrated. Humans can survive with less than four hours a week- I'm living proof." Nero gestured to himself. "Okay, so what do you want? You didn't push me into a closet just to ask me about my sleeping habits." "I want to know more about what you said last night. About being confused about your loyalties." Aeyra watched his expression grow darker. Nero was quite a different person when there weren't many people around... He radiated a scary aura, similar to Chaos's, but it wasn't the challenging, 'fuck off' aura that Chaos possessed, but a 'annoy and I'll kill you' kind of thing. "And why do you want to know? Look, even if I changed my mind about helping this Organization, there's nothing I could do. I'm not stupid, and I know I'll die if I ever did something that idiotic. I'm the planner, and I know how things work around here. I know why Laela died. She betrayed the Organization. I'm not going the way she did." Aeyra flinched when he mentioned Laela so coldly, as if her death was only meant to justify his reasoning. "But Nero, I think with you, we have a chance. You're a genius, you're talented, and it's wasted here. You know why I'm here, you know I was part of the group we're supposed to kill. I know it's near hopeless, but I'm still fighting. Why? Because I have something worth fighting for." Nero raised his pale blond eyebrows, giving a less annoyed sigh this time. "Fine, I'll think about it." His tone was flat. "But there's no way I'm leaving without Krev, Brise, and Chaos. It's all or nothing here." He walked out, coffee in hand. He gave a small smirk. "And just so you know, the one who gave me the doubts was Chaos himself. It'll make your job a hell lot easier." *********** Nero is definitely smart enough to get us out... So all that needs to happen is convincing Brise, Krev, and Chaos to come along! Personally I find you outside group joining the Org. now would be too repetitive (twice is enough for me... Three times is complete overkill) and kind of darn near impossible. One person we were supposed to kill joining us is enough- Chaos saw photos of you guys. And Nero is smart enough to know that it's not just coincidence. He's got two sides.... The bright, happy one we all know and love, and his dark, menacing side that he uses whenever royally pissed off. Or when he's being secretive. (because nobody wants to be mauled by an angry Nero )

I like MitsuAi for Ai. I think Mitsuhiko would actually understand if she told him, out of his brilliant imagination if not anything else. He's smart, he's cute, funny, and he's kind of like Conan. Shinichi, I believe, if he were to like Ai, he would have to force himself out of love with Ran, which I think is damn near impossible. Ran and Shinichi are just so darn stubborn! How long did it take for Ran to admit her feelings, how long did it take Shinichi, and how long is it taking for him to reveal the truth even though it's so darn obvious he wants to?! (proof of Ran's stubbornness: Oh look! What a happy coincidence! It's mom! Kogoro: You set this up again, didn't you? Eri: Ran, you've been doing this for the past five years, give it a rest already... Conan: *sigh*) Shinichi... Well... That boy simply never gives up. Even if it's untold in the manga, Shinichi and Ran do have a rich history together, and they've surely survived the ups and downs well enough to know that they want the other. And even now, after a year, you'd think one of them would just give up on the other, but neither have! Both are just as attached as the day Shinichi was shrunk, and if anything, separation has made them fonder. ('Separation makes the heart fonder' I believe it's a saying.) As for Conan and Ai... No matter how good a person Conan is, you can't expect him to easily forgive Ai for her mistakes, even if she had no choice. She basically ruined his life with that poison- he'll never get that lost time back. The time where he could have enjoyed high school with all of his friends, where he could have been a normal teenager, and maybe he could have been happy with Ran. Who could forgive a sin that great? I for one believe Ai needs a fresh start, one where she can let everything go and just become Haibara Ai. Miyano Shiho doesn't exist anymore- to the Organization, she's Sherry, to Conan and her friends, she's Haibara Ai. Just about the only person who knew her as Miyano Shiho, her sister, Akemi, well, she's dead. And Shiho died with her if you know what I mean. That's the main reason I don't believe in ShinShi (other than the fact I think they look quite strange together.). As for ConAi... Well... I'm just too big a ShinRan (and I'm quite a stubborn person, believe me when I say that) to support it even slightly. It can only end with one, and well, I'm just going for ShinRan.

Aeyra was still tense from the surprise of finding Nero in the hallway, Nero saying he heard their plans, and even the knowledge than he wasn't going to do anything to them didn't make her relax. She liked Nero, Krev, Brise, and even Chaos, but she knew that it was only pure luck that Nero happened to be as kind (or as... carefree) as he was. If it was Chaos... Aeyra shuddered. Chaos's temper seemed to only be getting shorter in the little time she had known him. She pitied him, she truly did, and wondered how Chaos had ended up in the Organization. She wondered if he'd had a previous life, a life before he'd been sucked into murder and spying and all this evil. He he been just a regular schoolboy, hanging out with his friends after school and playing sports and video games in his spare time? Or had he been taken away before he could become anything, stolen from his parents and forced to live this life with no say of his own? And what about Nero, Brise, and Krev? What had they suffered, what had they done to end up in here? No good keeping myself up I guess.... thought Aeyra, stifling a huge yawn. I think I'll ask Nero about this stuff tomorrow... He'll probably take it best.... *************** ... ... Yeah.

I'm writing the ChaosXLaela story later... So right now I'm just continuing the story.************************** Chaos seemed even more distant than usual that day, not responding when called and furiously snapping at anybody who dared ask him what was the matter. It wasn't like they didn't know. It was obvious- the answer had already been voiced, Chaos's own unspoken pain hurting everybody around him. Just looking in his eyes would make one either burst into tears or flee in terror- the blue swirled like a raging storm, sparking, attacking, but right beneath the exterior lay deep sadness, a sadness only death could bring. Occasionally he cast his gaze on Lunam, who flinched every time he did so, not exactly understanding what Chaos was so angry about. Nobody wanted to talk about Laela in his presence- it was bad enough to talk about her when he was in a good mood. It would just unleash chaos upon them all. Nero hummed quietly, drinking what must have been his tenth cup of coffee in the past hour, playing his PSP, something he thought was less likely rekindle anybody's memories. Brise was reading a book, curled up in the corner with Krev, laying her head on his shoulder as he relaxed, both of them tense, but content. Jun, Rin, and Nyx were bunched together on one of the beds, playing a game of Monopoly that they had pulled from a drawer, only half-heartedly moving their pieces around the board. Lunam merely watched, saying there really wasn't much room for a fourth person to lay down their money. This silent, monotonous charade of normality continued until it was pitch black outside and Brise decided that everybody should go to sleep- except Nero, that was a hopeless cause. Nyx volunteered to go sleep in Aria's old room, insisting that Lunam needed to get to know everybody better, slipping a note into Rin's hand as she passed her, carefully making sure it wasn't seen by Brise. Sensing the note was important and that it should be read in a secluded place, Rin excused herself to the bathroom, locking the door before unfolding the crumpled paper and reading it. Meet me in my room (Aria's) once you're sure Brise is asleep. Bring Jun and Lunam. I have something to tell you three. Don't let Brise know! And make sure you get here before 1 o'clock if possible- I need you out before 2. ~Nyx I wonder what Aeyra wants to tell us... thought Misaki. Well, better get 'sleeping'... It's already 10... Hope Brise falls asleep soon. Luck was in her favor, and by 11 o'clock, Brise was sleeping soundly, the light sound of her snoring drifting through the room. Misaki quietly got off the bed, making as little noise as possible as she tapped Lunam and Jun on the shoulder, waking them both up from a light sleep. "What is it?" mumbled Jun sleepily, giving a tiny yelp as Misaki yanked her off the bed, covering her mouth with her hand. "Just be quiet and follow me out of the room. Do not wake up Brise!" commanded Misaki in a whisper, Jun and Lunam nodding as they walked out the door with Misaki. Aeyra sat on her bed, worrying about what had happened to Mark. He had said for her to take everybody into his room last night... And he had disappeared that morning. He couldn't have been- he couldn't have been killed, right? Aeyra asked herself, drumming her fingers against her mattress. Chaos wouldn't have dared... And they would have told us if they discovered he was a traitor, right? But according to Mark they weren't told about Laela.... It was a relief when she heard the knock on her door. Hopping off the bed, she turned the knob and hushed Misaki, Jun, and Lunam inside, securely locking the door, bolting and everything, before turning to face them. "I want no protests while I'm talking, okay? I'm going to tell you something important, something Chaos, Brise, Nero and Krev would never tell us, something you can't tell them no matter what, okay?" Misaki had a feeling she knew exactly what Aeyra was talking about, and softly said, "Did you regain your memories too, Aeyra?" Aeyra was a bit taken aback, not having expected Misaki to have uncovered the secrets as well. The girl had acted it out well- Aeyra had been completely unaware that her friend's memories returned. "Yeah, I did. Mark helped me." "Mark-" Aeyra pressed her finger to her lips, signalling for Misaki to stop talking. "Memories first, shocking revelations later." She faced Chelsea and Lunam, staring at both of them fiercely. "Misaki, how about you talk to Tsukiko and I'll talk to Chelsea- it'll take less time." Misaki nodded, and grabbed Tsukiko's wrist, walking to a table in a corner of the room. "Jun, does the name 'Chelsea' mean anything to you, anything at all?" At that, Jun's head perked up. "I asked Chaos and Brise and Nero about it a few days ago... They said it didn't mean anything. But when that girl said it, I felt like she was calling me. Like I'd known the name and my body just instinctively answered." "That's because it is your name," explained Aeyra with excitement. Chelsea still existed somewhere inside- she just needed to find the key. "It was your name before this Organization wiped your memories and gave you the name 'Jun'. But you're still Chelsea. I'm just trying to get you back." Jun said nothing, just faintly nodding. She could feel something slipping through from the dark part of her mind, just that name, her name, Chelsea, whispered over and over like an echo, like the wind was carrying it around her head, a smooth, repetitive, circular path. "You are Chelsea, you love Detective Conan, which is a manga, and your favorite character is Koizumi Akako, though she technically isn't a Detective Conan character. She belongs to Magic Kaito, basically a side manga to it, and you'd like her to end up with a guy named Hakuba Saguru. You visit an online website called 'Detective Conan World', which can be shortened to DCW, and your username is Akakata. You also love a manga called Ouran High School Host Club, and we called ourselves the Hitachiin twin equivalent. Before we ended up here, we were being chased by this Organization, and in order to survive and possibly steal information, we agreed to join them. But we got our memories stolen instead. Is any of this ringing a bell?" Aeyra stared hopefully at Jun, trying to will her old friend back. Chelsea's memory recovery wasn't an explosion like Aeyra's, it came like the flowing of a river, not exactly gentle, but not powerful enough to overwhelm her, different scenes from the past playing one after another, the stream of remembrance trickling into her mind, and she nodded, smiling. "Aya-chan." "It's good to have you back, Chelsea," said Aeyra in a breathless voice, hugging her friend as she tried to keep back tears. "It's good to know we're all back." Tsukiko and Misaki grinned from their corner, Tsukiko having her memories quicker since her memory wipe hadn't been as substantial. They all hugged then, the warm feeling and joy of the moment simply overwhelming them with happiness. ********************************** Unknown to them, Nero had gotten out of his room earlier and had heard the entire conversation. His green eyes were shrouded in darkness, frowning as he waited. He knew the girls would have to walk back out, he knew they did. He wasn't disappointed, and the door opened, revealing all four girls laughing and giggling, freezing when they saw him there. There was a tense moment before Nero spoke, emerald eyes sparking with unreadable emotion. "I heard everything." ********************** Cliffhanger! What's Nero going to do? :3 Whoever writes next can choose between whether he turns us in or announces his growing disloyalty to the Organization <- I'd prefer the second option. Or if he just leaves us alone. This could be the start of our glorious rebellion.... XD
-
LOL. Fun topic. XD I tend to be more closed off though... Either I know someone or I don't. :3 There a couple people on that list, but I'm afraid if I start listing I'll forget somebody...
-
How would they notice? :is confused: And telling them that would be way too dangerous... Chaos is paranoid enough about Nero playing his DS in front of Chelsea, so if a potential threat (your picture is in the capture/kill pile we looked at) like you came in with the full ability to 'restore us' they'd demand your memory wiped, and because of Krev's suspicion, at least Krev would want to see it happen. Therefore Iram should have told them your memory was wiped and in the end it'd just come down to your acting. And all you have to do is act like you're lost. And say vague things about how familiar we look.
-
Hmm.... I wonder how Iram managed to convince the boss to let Tsukiko into the team without a memory wipe. And Iram is under suspicion, (Krev's suspicion to be exact... He just doesn't have enough proof to kill him yet) so Krev would probably negate his decisions. The Organization doesn't exactly trust people's words... Maybe you should pretend you got memory-wiped- it'd make more sense. Despite his happy nature, I think Nero is highly analytical and would be quite suspicious even if he doesnt show it. Personally I was planning for Chaos to catch a glimpse of you as you ran away, and then he'd flee the building and the rest of us would be scrabbling behind him and trying to keep him from going mental with desperate longing. But this'll be interesting... PS I would write, but I'm tired, it's one o'clock, and I just spent four hours reading 'Draco Veritas' and honestly am not in the mood. *yawns* I'll redo my Chaos/Laela short story tomorrow after I finish my English homework. If I do. *desperately wants to sleep* Good night...

Yay! I'm not too sure about brief though. :3 ************** 1 Year Ago... "Laela, Chaos, stop fighting!" commanded Mark as Krev pushed the two away from each other. "Can't you two act your age? You two fight every single day. You can't fight on the mission today, got it?" "Got it," they replied simulateneously, each glaring daggers at each other. Stupid girl... Always getting me into trouble. Who does she think she is, talking to me like that? Seriously, I hate that girl... thought Chaos darkly, stomping away from Laela, anger written all over his place. "Love trouble?" asked Nero quietly with a snicker. As Chaos opened his mouth to deny it, cheeks flushing, Nero hushed him up, pressing his fingers to the boy's lips. "It's so obvious. You might not see it but you keep on getting into fights with her on purpose, and you're always ranting about her." "Do not!" protested Chaos, turning red, ignoring his best friend's laughter. "Stop laughing, Nero!" "Admit you're in love!" teased Nero, dodging Chaos as the boy tried to smack him. Krev watched with an amused expression, always having loved watching Chaos struggle under Nero's constant, lighthearted joking. But who was Chaos trying to fool? It seemed the only person he was fooling was himself and Laela. She was probably the only one that didn't notice him staring at her during meals or when they had meetings or in the pillow-fights that Nero held semi-weekly. Ah yes, sweet kindergarten psychology. "Not so loud, Nero!" said Chaos as he shook Nero. "She might hear you!" "Do I take this as a confession, Chaos?" sniggered Nero. "It's awfully cute if I say so myself." "I just didn't want her believing the ridiculous notion that I like her. I don't. I hate her guts," he replied, blushing as Laela looked over curiously from her conversation with Brise. Why am I getting butterflies in my stomach...? *********** "Everybody ready?" quieried Mark, looking over his team, nearly invisible in the darkness with their black clothes. "Remember, today is assassination. There's a gang in town that's threatening our drug profits. Our job is to take them out. I want one-shot kills" Chaos nodded eagerly, bloodlust evident in his eyes. Laela looked at him in disgust. "Go!" Laela took off at once, her GPS tracker watch telling her the exact location of her first target, a man that was roaming they alleys just ten blocks away. I can't believe Chaos... she thought, jogging with her rifle firmly in her hands. That excited to kill... He's nothing but a filthy, commonplace murderer. I'm only doing it because I have to. At least it's actual criminals and not innocent citizens. Laela finally reached the alley where her target was supposed to be, but it was empty. She carefully stepped forward, crouched low to hide herself better. The alley really did seem to be empty... But her watch had never been wrong before... At the sound of a crunch, Laela looked up to see a man standing on the rooftop, barely visible, buthis gun clearly trained on her. Surprise rooted her to the spot. "Laela!" A force tackled her down, and she heard a groan emitted from her savior. There was no time to be wasted- Laela shot the man who had sniped at her, and he collapsed, dead. She directed attention back onto her rescuer. "Chaos..." she mumbled, eyes disbelieving. Chaos had just risked his life, Chaos, her biggest rival, Chaos, the emotionless killer, Chaos, the boy who seemed to live for the sole purpose of annoying her, to save hers. She could only think if one question, one word. "Why?" "My target was nearby, but I thought you looked kind of distracted as you ran off. I followed you, and then I saw the moonlight glint off of his barrel. I knew you couldn't get out of the way by yourself." Chaos's voice was strained, and his left hand was pressed strongly against his abdomen, and Laela noticed that his clothes were becoming wet with blood. "Chaos, are you alright?" she asked, worried. "Don't worry about me," he panted, breathing becoming more labored. "Are you okay?" "I'm fine... Chaos, we have to get you help immediately," ordered Laela, struggling to pull the boy up. "Chaos?" His eyes had closed. "Chaos?!" ******** That was part 1. It's one in the morning here. I'm too tired to write properly. I'll rewrite this tomorrow and I'll finish it.
