  1. Eeehh~~ But you English is good D:

  2. I was not born in Africa, I only moved here last year or 2. I was born in England by the way. ^_^ It's not hot here as you might think xD Instead it's super cold!

Wow, you have talent! Let us hear your performance! xD

  3. I had uploaded more of Vermouth's pictures and some others that may be related. I hope you don't mind but... I stuffed them all and put them in a gallery box I created in your user page (so it would be easy for you to locate them) under the title of 'Vermouth's Pictures' . That's exactly what I have in mind, too. That's why whenever I find new style versions of characters' photos I replace them with the old styles (I had replaced Jodie's, Vermouth's, Gin's, etc.). I am able to take some snapshots from new episodes I have in the computer I am using now. You can list all the characters with the old styles design (create a new thread for it) <3 and I will see what I can do to help ;-)

  8. Owww, thanks!I was confused for what I should put... so I just put anything random that came to my mind. Thanks again for your assistance ;! I edited it and put the word you suggested. Of course you can! Anyone who is determined in studying Japanese are welcome ;;. The class is always open, members may ask questions, participate in Japanese conversations, etc. And there'd always have lessons that pops up once in awhile. We are currently learning Hiragana... you may want to start from the first lesson -> http://japanese-ken.blogspot.com/2011/01/hiragana-lesson-1_02.html
  9. Sorry, but there's no witty story this time~ <3 Hiragana: Lesson 22 - 'に' [ni] に, in hiragana, or ニ in katakana, is one of the Japanese kana, which each represent one mora. The hiragana is written in three strokes, while the katakana in two. Pronunciation: 'に' is romanized 'ni' and pronounced ‘nea’ as in ‘neat’. Words with 'に': Word beginning with 'に': 日本語/にほんご (nihongo -> Japanese Language) 苦い/にがい (nigai -> bitter) 肉/にく (niku -> meat) 逃げる/にげる (nigeru -> to run away; to escape) にんじん (ninjin -> carrot) 庭/にわ (niwa -> garden) 日記/にっき (nikki -> diary) 西/にし -> (nishi -> west) 二/に -> (ni -> two) 任務/にんむ -> (ninmu -> mission; task; duty) 'に' in the middle: おにぎり (onigiri -> rice ball) あいにく (oiniku -> Unfortunately) 通行人/つこうにん (tsukounin -> pedestrian; passer by) 確認/かくにん (kakunin -> confirmation; affirmation) 犯人/はんにん (hannin -> culprit; criminal; offender) 間に合う/まにあう (maniau -> be in time) 'に' at the end: あに (ani -> big brother (sibling)) 国/くに (kuni -> country) 谷/たに (tani -> valley) 蟹/かに (kani -> crab) 確かに/たしかに -> (tashikani -> certainly; undoubtedly) それに (soreni -> besides; moreover) たまに (tamani -> once in a while; sometimes; infrequently) 特に/とくに (tokuni -> particularly) お大事に/おだいじに (odaijini -> get well; all the best; God bless you) 実際に/じっさいに (jissai ni -> actually) “に” as Particle: Location 私は学校にいる / わたしはがっこおにいる (Watashi wa gakkoo ni iru -> I’m at school) Direction 今夜はお母さんとデパートにいくよ / こんやはおかあさんとでぱあとにいくよ (Kon’ya wa okaasan to depaato ni iku yo -> Tonight, I’ll go to the department store with my mom) Indirect Object 彼女に返してください。。/ かのじょにかえしてください。。 (Kanojo ni kaeshite kudasai... -> Give it back to her, please...) Passive Agent あの焼肉は姉に食べられた。/ あのやきにくはいもおとにたべられた。(Ano yakiniku wa imooto ni taberareta. -> That grilled meat was eaten by my little sister.) Noun, Verbs, Purpose, Intent 映画を見に行く。/ えいがをみにいく。(Eiga wo mi ni iku -> I’m going to see a movie) Stroke order: The hiragana に is made with three strokes: A vertical stroke from top to bottom. A short, horizontal stroke to the upper right of the first stroke, going from left to right. Another short, horizontal stroke at the bottom right of the first stroke, going from left to right. ______________ YO-ON As you may still remember from 3 previous lessons (Hiragana: Lesson 7, lesson 12, and lesson 17), In the Japanese language there are also contracted words called 拗音 (yo-on). They are made up of two letters written together. A hiragana ending with ‘i’ such as ki (き), shi (し), etc... followed by a small ya (ゃ), yu (ゅ) or yo (ょ). The yoon’s for 'ni' are: にゃ/nya Ex. にゃあ (nyaa -> cat mewing) にゅ/nyu Ex. 牛乳/ぎゅうにゅう (gyuunyuu -> milk) にょ/nyo Ex. 女官/にょかん (nyokan -> court lady) Task: You shall write 'に' 50 - 100 times in your textbook. Don’t just write with your head blank, memorize the shape, the stroke order, the sound, the pronunciation (echo the sound of the character each time you write it down), etc. And after you finish with that, write 'な' and 'に' one after another, repetitively (な, に, な, に, な, に, etc.) 50 times (100 if you have time). Facts of today~ NINJA! Ninja were people provided with special techniques in the art of war, and flourished in the Sengoku era (1467-1568). They are also known as shadow warriors. The Ninja were very spiritual people, and their beliefs became an essential part of Ninjutsu (the art of stealth). Ninja could sneak into enemy territories and spy on the enemy's war tactics. They sometimes assassinated enemy leaders. Some of the Ninja techniques are walking on and submerging into water, scaling walls, walking without sound and disappearing suddenly without any trace. Credits: Thanks to Tna again for helping with the examples! :-D
  10. That's an interesting point of view, Kazu. But at the same time I think it's saddening... Let me reply in order. I will be checking this in your site after I finish with this ;; Wow, that's pretty cool (to have a member that's connected to our Gosho ). But I don't really imagine it fantastic... I have read quite a lot about it in many websites. :-| Wow, so did you translate those officially or... for your website? I guess it is really hard... but... Well, it's true what you just said, and I've heard of most mangaka having some general plots, or some of the main characters... <- is not the mangaka' original idea. Mostly from the editors and the publishers. For instance the series Naruto. If I recall correctly, Sasuke Uchiha... he has become one of the main character as well as one of mos popular characters in the series. When developing the original Naruto manga, Masashi Kishimoto (the mangaka) had not initially intended to create Sasuke. After speaking with his editor about the future of the series, he was advised to create a rival character for the series' protagonist, Naruto Uzumaki, which resulted in Sasuke's creation. See? Even though he wasn't exactly the original idea of the author, he became one of the main thing in the Naruto plot. Well, I would rather not give it much thought about it and I will just continue enjoy watching/reading. Hee~~ You sure know a lot, Kazu. That's very interesting. Wow, really? I am really interested in learning this facts... so mind you telling me? It's OK, I got to know so many exciting and interesting new facts. But I am pretty sure Kazuha and Heiji will be reunited. Although that they don't receive that much time in the series... I doubt that Gosho, the editor, or the publisher will toss them in the end just like that .

    Nice to meet yah!

  17. Welcome, Sandiiiii~~~~ ! Welcome to the world of terror ! I love your avatar by the way .
  18. Haha, glad it helped... I will take more then. From which scene would you like me to take?
  19. Hi, Chekhov! I will be glad to help, so I will try to take some shots with what I have from the episodes! Which scenes would you like me to take? Here're some right now ;-):
  20. Lol! Glad you know now . And what do you mean I ran away from ramen? I ran away because Nami wanted to kill me . Ah, and if you don't mind, Conan's girlfriend ()... can you remove my quote from your post? I did some mistake in the lesson ... Even though I edit my post of mistakes, my post in your post will remain the same . And it's taking quite a space D: Ah, I am not sure I did a good one just now... the story was kinda lame . Anyway, glad you like it! (Get to work, Tna ! We are waiting !) Thank you! Oww, welcome to Japanese Classroom, Kirite ! There's more to it like Cheesus said, so don't be shy to visit often ! I was planning to create a thread like this (or post the lessons) there in DCTP, but I saw there was a thread for 'Ask anything about Japanese here'... so... since there was already a thread about it ... Like Conan's girlfriend said , It's 成程【なるほど/naruhodo】- 'I see', it can also be translated to -> That's right!; indeed. Conan often says them (it is said a lot anyway), or more often (when he hit the bullseye), this one -> そうか, そ 言う 事 か!/sou ka, so iu koto ka! (I see, so that's how it is!) Example: Tna: カオコ! きのうは, チイススは ヤクザに 殺された/Kaoko! Kinou wa, Cheesus wa yakuza ni korosareta! (Kaoko! Yesterday, Cheesus was killed by the yakuza!) Kaoko: なるほど/naruhodo (I see). You can also use; そう です か/sou desu ka (polite) そう か/sou ka (plain) わかりました/wakarimashita (polite) わかった/wakatta (plain) "sou desu ka" is similar to "naruhodo", but this is used when you received an answer of your question and to show it to the listener. If you were silence even when the listener answered you, he/she may confirm if you heard of that or not. Maurice (at a convenience store, after looking for ice cream): すみません, アイスクリイヌが 見つからないん です けど.../sumimasen, aisukuriimu ga mitsukaranai n desu kedo... (Excuse me, I can't find ice cream...) Parkur: ぜんぶ 売り切れました よ./zenbu urikiremashita yo. (All of ice cream were sold out.) Maurice: え, ぜんぶ?/e, zenbu? (What, all?) Parkur: はい, 今日は 暑い です から/hai, kyou wa atsui desu kara. (Yes, because it's hot today.) Maurice: そう です か, 判りました./sou desu ka, wakarimashita. (I see, it's okay.) As you can see in above, "wakarimashita" is often used together with "naruhodo" and "sou desu ka". The literal meaning is "I understood", and when it's with "naruhodo", it indicates that you understood the meaning of something or got information that you were looking for. So, you may say "naruhodo" because you got the reason why all of ice cream were sold out. But when you were quite disappointed, perhaps you will not get interested in the reason. Hope this all helps!
  21. Ummm... not sure it could be fix ... I recommend you use the simple one (not the rich text editor version ). Or you could post your Fan-Fiction to www.fanfiction.net, and then link it here (though I guess that you prefer it here ). As for the onions, go here -> http://www.cute-factor.com/imlister.php?cid=onion&type=e&pp=500 (there's a bunch list out of them ). Each emoticon has 3 boxes beneath it, copy-all the forum one, and then paste it to your post . Glad you liked them !
