  1. Well I'm 14, I've been watching DC on and off for 10 years and finally decided to try reading the manga. While I've never been die hard fan of DC until now, it always kept me coming back to it, so I guess I couldn't resist the charm of the characters, romances, and mysteries. It's just a perfect combination of lovable characters, cute romances, and suspenseful mysteries. Why WOULDN'T i not love it? XP
  2. I've always supported these two. Ran definitely deserves Shinichi. She is possibly the most patient manga character ever. I mean, how long has she been waiting for him? Plus this whole manga revolves around these two. I just got caught in the hype I suppose.
  3. I agree. I never understood the hype around Kaito Kid. Don't get me wrong, he's a fun character. I don't hate him, but I never LOVED him either. Actually, when I first started watching the show (I was about 4 or 5) I remember being incredibly confused about who he was, what he was doing and why he was doing it. It's not until now that I'm actually starting to figure out who he is. So even from back then, to me, he was just a really weird guy. Well, right now I'm actually reading the manga for the first time, so maybe once I'm done I'll be converted too. But for now, he seems a bit overrated...
  4. Yeah, it's always been interesting that Haibara does this all for shinichi. I mean I don't see Haibara wanting to return to her normal size. Unlike Shinichi, she has no one waiting for her in her normal size. At least when she's small, she has the Detective Boys. It's going to be sad when Conan disappears, sometimes I wonder if once the Black Organization is gone, the detective boys will figure out. Of course that would be a problem since if information on that pill gets out, people will abuse it. But even if I hate the three stooges, I don't want to see them sad because Conan disappeared. Now that I think about it, he'll probably make up a story saying Conan went back to America to live with his family or something. Although the three would probably try to fly over to visit him or something, which would be an issue...
  5. My all time favorite is Heiji. I just adore watching him and Conan/Shinichi work together. When those two team up, they're unstoppable! And I like how Heiji isn't serious all the time and only gets serious around a case. He provides some good comic relief. Not to mention he's TOTALLY good looking... And I can't forget his Osaka-accent. I also like Kazuha. Although it's more like I love the whole Heiji/Kazuha package. Just like I like the Shinichi/Heiji package. (Strictly as friends, I'm not into THAT kind of stuff. ) Aside from that, I guess Haibara Ai. I'll jump on the bandwagon and say she's awesome. I, personally, am not a fan of the three stooges (Ayumi, Genta, Mitsuhiko) so I'm glad Ai came in to back up Conan's common sense. It was pretty rough when it was 1 against 3, at least now it's 2 against 3.
  6. There's no way of denying it, DC has some MAJOR problems when it comes to the timeline. I mean, this story is essentially one big filler. It's entertaining filler, but filler nonetheless. I mean, there's been around 700 chapters and honestly, how many times has the black organization been mentioned? The plot is figuring out who the black organization is so Shinichi can permanently return to his normal size and yet the primary antagonist hardly shows up. Not that I'm complaining, I always considered the mysteries entertaining, even if in the back my mind I know we're getting nowhere with these cases.
  7. Wow, I was kinda surprised that people think Agasa did it. That has never even occurred to me. I mean, Agasa's such a sweet guy. Although that is why I am considered very naive... As of now, I think it's someone we don't know. And even if it IS someone we know, I'm surprised Heiji even came up. I'm biased because he's my favorite character but I just don't see him as evil at ALL. As for Yusaku, I don't see him going to murder at all... Okay, I'll admit it, I just don't want to believe any of the characters are evil. I love them WAY too much to believe that...
  8. Never. The way it's going, I wouldn't be surprised if, like Crayon Shin-chan, the author dies before the series reaches a finale of sorts. Hopefully, Doraemon and Crayon Shin-chan will remind Aoyama that the manga only lasts while he's alive... Either way, if there is an end, I'm looking forward to it.
