  1. The material was relatively easy for me to absorb and the teachers were super friendly. I'm not afraid to admit that I often got in trouble for talking and going off on tangents. Teachers would sometimes force me to stay in the classroom during recess as punishment. Despite this, I remember I was a super affectionate person back in elementary school; I wouldn't let that affect how much I loved school. I would frequently give my teachers hugs, and I loved everyone and everything--no matter how much I got scolded. Because the workload wasn't as tough, I often went outside to play with the neighborhood kids as well. I didn't mind getting dirty so it didn't matter to me whether or not my clothes got muddy or not. I'm sure my parents were annoyed to some extent though, lol. My dad still forced me to work on math packets so I could get "ahead of the game"--it really helped me jump a few levels even though doing them felt like torture. I was working on systems of equations algebra around fifth grade, but it was still a lot of fun for me. A bit contradictory isn't it? Well, I loved math, haha. It was just the gruesome homework that bothered me, even though that was what ultimately sparked my love for math. So don't complain about your homework too much, because you never know! Elementary and middle school are times when you discover yourself. You have a lot of freedom--more than you think. Do what you want to do. Immerse yourself in a good book, play outside once in a while, try something new. If there was one thing I could tell my past self, it would be to stop complaining. Enjoy what you have to the fullest, because you don't know what you've got till it's gone. Feed into your passions. Try to discover who you really are. If you like math, do math. If you like science, toy around with science kits. Wanna play guitar? Go for it. When you look back on yourself and the only thing you've done was complain, lock yourself indoors, and surf the internet, how fulfilling is that going to feel? Even to this day, I feel like I still haven't accomplished as much as I would have liked. So make sure you enjoy what you have. Don't be so hard on yourself and smile once in a while! Don't focus too much on the workload either, because school is only as fun as you make it out to be It seems like everything's getting piled on Friday this week, whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... this series and sequences stuff is going to end up being the death of me. haha, are you kidding me? you'd have to be insane to marathon all 700+ episodes. I've only watched the plot-based episodes (cherry-picked the rest), and I still post in there whenever there's a topic of discussion open. You don't need to watch all of the episodes to get caught up or contribute to discussion, lol.
  2. I love watching her YouTube videos! I first stumbled across her channel when my sister showed me that pi video when she was still in high school. Ahh, the good ol' days. I got trolled real hard on this one though. geez, I used to love going to school when I was your age. I loved both elementary school and middle school. Even when times seem rough, try to make the most out of it! OMM: I had a dream that today was a snowday and that I had more time to study for my calc quiz well... calc quiz was pushed back to Friday today is a good day.
  3. It's not likely that Gosho will let his health completely limit his output of Conan since he poured his heart and soul into the series for nearly 20 years already. Still, I hope he gets well soon<3
  4. In response to pi day: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FtxmFlMLYRI
  5. I have found my people :') lolololol, the comic sans makes the images 10x better I freaking love these YOU'RE VERY WELCOME<3
  6. is it bad that I immediately thought of the 60s when I saw this.
  7. I don't see it as provocative at all. the internet is turning into a bunch of pansies.
  8. aw geez, you just reminded me about allergies D: I agree with everything except for the "snow being gone for the most part is also a huge plus" since it only turns into slush but this seasonal transition is just wonderful because it's the perfect balance between the extremes of winter (cold/dry) and spring (stuffy/humid) we haven't been getting any rain yet, but the snow is beginning to melt around here and it's making me sad :c at least the weather's nice, haha
  9. ...and allow me to ruin both your perceptions of pi within five minutes and sixteen seconds. sorry not sorry loljk. 3/14/15 HAPPY SUPER PI DAY ...even though tau makes more sense and should have been implemented into the school curricula and mathematics instead of pi...
  10. it's true though. kinda like how all Europeans look the same. -- I'm kidding.
  11. why D:
  12. not necessarily nsfw, unless you count the first one as too graphic or the second one as too suggestive. the second one was satire, lol.
  13. clearly, you didn't understand the people I was referring to, lol
  14. classic plebe reaction did the jokes fly over your head or something? only ineffable genius can create such prodigious works of art. lol, I was trying my darndest to stifle my laughter when I was going through the post thank you tumblr for making the world go round.
  15. I don't know about you, but tumblr and reddit trolls are hilarious.
  16. oh whoops, sorry about that. I'm a little underwhelmed by your reaction. I was in tears after I finished reading through those, ahahahahaha.
  17. are you kidding me, they're hilarious. actually, toilet jokes are a close second, heh. my favorites tend to be internet humor, dry humor, and sarcasm. oh, and tumblr humor. I don't have a tumblr, but tumblr is gold it's gold I tell you.
  18. I love the seasonal transition between winter and spring. There's just enough snow on the ground to keep the winter vibe, it's not too humid or too dry, and the temperatures are neither too hot nor too cold--absolutely perfect. gotta enjoy this while I still can, haha.
  19. "I don't think we can be friends."
  20. so, my friend recently asked me to lend him my hydrochloric acid and almost got mad at me for how bad it smelled. lol, you're not supposed to smell that stuff. I got burned from it last year so at least it's a bit relieving to have it off my hands for a while.
  21. I just totaled nearly 8 hours worth of tennis since Monday ...and with more to come in the upcoming days. I'm exhausted right now, but thank goodness I don't have any more tests this week.
  22. haha, same here except that I used to sleep on the left side of my bed, but the mattress began feeling a bit uneven, so I've been sleeping only on the right side ever since.
  23. ikr 2011 video quality too op. haha yeah, the graphics of the PC version are more pleasing to the eye. I couldn't get myself to watch the 3DS version just because it didn't... feel right. I'm trying to make this sound as least hipster as possible, but honestly, I just prefer the "classic" graphics over the 3DS's. The English in the 3DS version might have been better because the earlier versions were translated by fans. ahhhh, I wish I had Cave Story+ I downloaded the first version, and it doesn't have as many features. minor spoilers for the game?
