  1. It seems that you haven't watched Dragon Ball, so why state something like this? In Dragon Ball, most of the characters dies for at least two times, and villains will always be there in any anime. It is just the matter of when will writers/creators cut the circle, and since Dragon Ball is finished, it has an ending.
  2. I've finished Btooom! a day or two ago.
  3. By using TLDR as my excuse, I'll go and suggest you to learn Japanese through Anime. The reason is because there are two types of Japanese; Formal and Casual. Most of the courses teach you the formal one, while in Anime they use a casual version. Formal is used for business meetings etc., while casual is used in everyday life. Now, to tell you how you can learn it. First, you need to download both RAW and subbed version of the episode that you're planning to watch. Then watch the subbed version. After you're done, while your memory is still fresh, play the RAW version and watch it. Or, if you don't want/can't download both versions, just hide the subtitles (which would actually be a more logical and simpler option). I hope that this will be of some help.
  4. Welcome to DCW's forums, Shinju Gakusha. As the other fellow members have already said, this is a pretty much friendly community (including me? ). Anyway, enjoy your stay here, and if you have any questions, or just want to waste some time, feel free to send a message.
  5. Hmm, now that's an interesting question. I would probably go with Fullmetal Alchemist. Now, let's try to explain why. Firstly, it is finished. The story has an ending, and a really good one. It doesn't have too much episodes, with it no fillers. Pretty deep and dark plot are another plus, as well as the well made characters and bonds between them. And of course, not to mention the good action, plot twists and some funny comedy in between. Now, you'd say "the other ones has the same". Well, not quite. Let's start with Naruto. To be honest, I was even thinking of putting this one as the best, since those 220 episodes are really amazing, and I have nothing against them. But, Naruto Shippuden is what's dragging it down. Because it is not finished yet, and was made into a Mexican TV show. After that, comes One Piece. It has great story, great characters, shows what friends are on the best possible way, BUT just has too many episodes. Next, Death Note. I must say that I haven't seen this anime up until the end, from some personal reasons (even though it was a long time ago), since I really got irritated by that obvious advertisement of the Satanism. That aside, I have to say that L is one of the most brilliant characters I've seen, and I've got nothing negative to say about that part. So, we've came to Bleach. First 60 episodes of Bleach will just make you drool for the anime and it's amazing plot and action. Unfortunately, it turns you down to the ground after the 100-episodes-long fillers (not literally of course, but they really are long). And, I seriously got pissed after seeing that they've actually continued the story after finally ending the one with Aizen. And lastly, Detective Conan! What to say about this show, it is really well thought out, amazing, deep and dark plot with hell a lot of twists, awesome characters and cases. Just being able to solve it together with the main character is fantastic. But of course, why finish the plot when you can make 700 episodes and still end up nowhere. That's what I hate about it. Although in the end, I personally wouldn't be able to pick one anime and say "this one is the best" since every anime that I've watched so far has something unique that made me like/watch it. Well, that would be a short version of my thoughts on this. And I'm noting, this is my personal opinion, and I'm not saying that I'm right, or trying to make you think so. On the other side, I'm always opened for debates or discussions, so feel free to ask/say anything.
  6. Hahaha, just figured that I've wrote about Psycho-Pass twice. Anyway, last one that I've finished would be Ergo Proxy. And now I've started watching Serial Experiments Lain.
  7. I wish for that race to be exterminated.
  8. My gaming life was so boring lately, that I've started playing SMITE again.
  9. I think that the most recent anime that I've finished was Psycho-Pass.
  10. Firstly, hello and welcome to the DCW Forums. I don't think that anyone posts a release date for the subtitles of an anime episode/movie. Although, you can find a release date for the movie itself. There's a way to keep up with the episodes without having to watch them all. You can skip the "TV Original" episodes, since they have no connection to the plot, and the cases can't compare to the original ones. You can find which episodes are "TV Original" here: http://www.detectiveconanworld.com/wiki/Anime And lastly, I personally prefer the Japanese version of any anime, since it is the original one, and usually the better one. Yes, there are some exceptions, but as for the Detective Conan, I'd suggest you to watch the Japanese version.
  11. I've recently finished Psycho-Pass. And I can only say one thing; Epic.
  12. You do have a reputation system here. If you like someone's post, or think that it was helpful to you and you want to thank him, just vote it up and higher his reputation (little square-shaped green button with an "up" arrow on it). It's simple and more than enough. Adding any more will just be an entertainment for the spammers, and this forum will turn into Facebook.
  13. Internet has privacy? Right... Anyway, welcome to the DCW. I'm 5/4 Serbian, and my name is Milan. Internet Must-stay-anonymous Organization (aka IMO) must've registered my crime, so if I stop writing, it must've been from the hit of their satellite's lase~ PS: Trolling aside, I hope you'll have some fun staying here. If you need help with anything, feel free to ask.
  14. A question. Why are you making a new thread for every video that you're going to link? One thread is more than enough for it.
  15. Welcome to the forums! I know that this is totally unrelated, but the only romance genre series that I've watched was actually a Korean drama called Pasta, and I love it! Anyway, enjoy your stay here.
  16. Well generally, it can't be bad. In the end, it is The continuation which follows the manga. Still, I think that the old version is, and will be better. Why? This is why: - Darker - More morbid scenes - Better fighting scenes - Better art - Better voices
  17. Let's see... Seven Psychopaths.
  18. Hello, potentional container of the little gray cells. Welcome to the forums!
