I have experienced it sometimes. When it happened, don't fight it, it would only get worse. It'll be naturally gone before you you it. While sleeping on the side can reduce the chance of it happening (I haven't experienced it much ever since I did that), however, the experience will get even worse than other postures once it happens.

Sleep sideway. it helps. It did happen before, to me, so I avoid sleeping with face looking at ceiling.
