1 pointI've been trying to collect all the comments Gosho made through Shiho in Sherry's Soliloquy. I've collected about 50ish, so I thought that I should share.^^ I admit, I didn't share them before, since most of these aren't really relevant to the plot, but it's nice to see how Gosho's brain works, I think. Proof that these comments are written by Gosho: The above website says 青山先生入魂の書き下ろしページ(笑) (Page where Aoyama-sensei writes his heart and soul down (laughs)) next to シェリーのひとりごと (Sherry's Soliloquy / Sherry talking to herself /etc.) Gosho mentioned in an interview that he writes these comments: I'll post the comments from the most recent to the oldest I could find. Also I might sacrifice accuracy for readability in some places, so beware... If you have a better translation, let me know! I'll also bold the ones that I think are plot-relevant, and italicize the ones that are interesting. Warning: IMAGE HEAVY I'll match the images with file numbers later, when I have the time.

1 point@Chek: Good job on the Peugeot! Do you remember the black car Vermouth drove to spy on Busujima Kiriko in the beginning of episode 425? I think it was a Benz, but I need more pictures to confirm it. Also, can you please find some good shots of Korn's and Vodka's bikes from the anime episodes of the Clash of Red and Black? Thank you in advance Chek! Vermouth's car as Araide is a first gen Toyota Prius, produced from 1997 to 2003. (Vermouth drives a Prius!!!!) I believe Takagi's is a sixth gen Nissan Maxima (2004 to 2008) Yui Uehara's is an eighth gen Honda Accord, I'm not entirely sure which year, possibly from 2008.

1 point*dons lab coat* There are several reasons... First lets go through civilian reasons (assuming that they go the civilian route) 1) DNA testing is not exactly cheap. The restriction enzymes, DNA polymerases, instrumentation, the ddNTPs, the kits, are all somewhat expensive. Ran probably doesn't have the money. In fact the only person that probably does have the money is Sonoko's family. (And before you think it, I'll get to the police later) (Btw, last I checked, the testing would cost around 300-500USD I have no idea the rates in Japan, but I can't imaging they'd be much cheaper as the requirements are about the same) 2)Assuming you have the money (which Ran probably doesn't) DNA testing isn't exactly quick... Granted, you can get it all done in a day, but that is assuming the laboratory has the time. DNA labs are notorious for backlog. Generally it takes around 1/2 a day if you do everything in tandem. This is civilian we are talking about, there is no chance that not getting the test would lead to the escape of a criminal. 3) Source DNA... They cleaned the house several times by now, and Okiya is now living there. You assume they can still obtain Shinichi's DNA 100%. In the case that they CAN'T they need the DNA from Okiya, Yukiko and Kudo (Yuusaku) to separate out any mixed DNA. There is no guarantee they can still FIND Shinichi's DNA in that house in the first place. Police route: Well this one is going to be short 1) Probable cause... There is none. Ran could air her suspicions to the MPD, and subsequently be laughed at by the MPD. 2) Childhood privacy acts in Japan. You can't even put a child's name in the news paper in Japan, let alone convince anyone to do a DNA test on children without extremely good and valid reason. As far as anyone knows, his parents are in America, and paying well for his expenses. And again "I think he is high school detective Kudo Shinichi" is not good enough reason. It is however good enough reason to be put under psychiatric care. There is a chance that it will be explored later, but they have to find a convincing source for Shinichi's DNA. And sorry, but hair doesn't cut it. Hair only has [mostly] mtDNA, unless it was forcibly removed and has an intact root containing epithelial cells containing nuclear DNA. For a successful and sufficiently individualizing DNA test you need nuclear DNA. EDIT: ACK! Forgot something! In case you are thinking that they just HAVE Shinichi's DNA in some database, he is not a criminal, he is not police, and he is not military. There is no civilian DNA database in any country. So that avenue is a dead end. It would have to be a sample to sample comparison.

1 pointHappy Birthday, Vawli-chan~! Vawli-chan and I have been watching Arcana Famiglia together. So far, she supports Liberta and I support Nova, but that may change in the near future. Anyways, I went back through some of the past eps, did some hearty google image searching and found screenshots of the protagonists Felicita and Liberta. I really wanted Chickpea to be in it there too >_< I took the screenshots and drew them together. Fel x Liberta, cuz that's who Vawli ships. Link My favorite characters are Debito (in le coolest category), Pace (in le awesomest category), Luca (in le awww-his-devotion-towards-Fel-is-so cute category), and ofc JOLLY <33333 (in le epicest category) But my favorite pairing is FelxNova....or maybe not..... it's a close tie. But enough on me raving about AF. Hope you have an a wesome birthday, Vawli-chan! You rule!

1 pointWhile I do not have any comment against your newly made thread, I don't agree with this kind of blackmailing. It's not very polite to ask (in this case, to demand) someone to pin your own topic. Also, just telling you, a true value of a thread doesn't lie in the fact whether that thread is pinned or not. So what if it's not pinned ? And I may be wrong when saying this (and if I am, then I apologize), but it looks just like all that matters to you is everyone's attention, all those arguments and the pinning thing are just excuses. Do you actually care about the dying children ? @AiSuigetsu: Please don't swear, I know you're frustrated but this is still a public forum.

1 pointJust a friendly reminder to everyone that religious and/or political discussion are both not a topic of discussion on this board. If you and another member start debating on either one of those two topics, then take it to a private message, because your moderators will not tolerate it a bit anymore. As you can see, it doesn't take too long before people start stepping on the toes of others. Henceforth, any more specific political or religious debating will be deleted and the users involved will be warned accordingly. Thank you for your time.

1 pointA very considerable idea... Instead of telling you how great of an idea this is, I will turn your words into action. So if I were to examine CarpetCrawler's handwriting (it was the first one I could find), it would be something like this: CC has an intricate style of handwriting that defines his personality and well-being. -First, I will note that his disregard for writing above the given lines reveals his boldness. He represents an extravert, a person who would rather be a leader than a follower, because he wants to distinguish himself from others by using every two lines as a center for his writing. His bold personality is also evident in how large he writes; CC wants to draw the attention of others right away. In terms of speaking with someone, CC would be the dominant speaker of the conversation. -Second, CC's inconsistency with letter size (adjacent letters vary in height) and the lining of the letters show that he is careless about other people's perceptions of him (which is correspondent to his inattentiveness towards writing the letters the same size and in a straight line). He couldn't care less if a person despised the way he presents himself or how he feels on a certain subject; all that matters is that he stands for what he believes in, no matter who opposes him. -Although, his round and curvy letters (which are more "open" rather than "enclosed together") reveal that CC has agreeableness. He can be "open-minded" about agreeing with others as long as it abides to his own personal beliefs. In fact, he loves discovering the common ground he has with people. -Referring to punctuation, CC's usage of two, count 'em two, exclamation marks reveal his thought process of writing the statement. He wants to passionately tell readers that they should listen to the podcast by using more than one exclamation mark (one wouldn't nearly be as emotive), but three shows signs of desperation. Therefore, he sticks with two in order to neutralize between sounding too passive and sounding too aggressive. -Lastly, the heavy pressure he exerts on his writing utensil shows signs of confidence. Whether it is confidence in his arguments or confidence with how he is, CC isn't afraid to express his audacious persona. If he were to write lightly on paper, it would reveal insecurity; however, that isn't the case. Since it appears he has a firm grip on his pen, CC undoubtedly has inner strength, the strength of refraining himself from letting his guard down. I have no idea if my handwriting analysis is accurate or not, but I tried my best.

1 pointTells are how people write certain letters or the ordering of symbols. For instance... How someone writes the date can narrow down their country of origin. Usage of punctuation, and how the punctuations are written tell you often gender. Then you have angling and spacing that have been heavily analyzed that can tell you a few things. Then you have style of writing letters as well. The smallest of things can tell you a bit about a person.
