The now live article for Shiho Miyano We have separate articles for Shinichi and Conan, so why not have Shiho along with Haibara? The article has zilch in it because I don't have time tonight, but I wanted to let people know about it so they can put infoboxes, text, and pictures in it.

Best series, or best series? Probably one of my childhood favourites, and from a recent re-watch, I find myself squealing in the same delight I had when I was little. Favourite character, favourite card, favourite Sakura outfit? Also, Kero-chan is my spirit animal, and is basically me, even though Yukito is my favourite character. lol

RanXGenta is really weird but it's better than AyumiXGenta. I still believe in AyuCon. Ai would not break the heart of the girl that she treats like a little sister and Ai has already shown that she would keep all the bitterness to herself as long others are happy. Hence, Ai would not take Conan for herself. And I don't understand why so many people are so disgusted of AyuCon. Is it because of the age difference? Dude, come on. No one is expecting them to suddenly date at a tender age of 7. What I am focusing on is their future. Ayumi is very bright- observant for her age so she will be on the same level with Conan when she grow up. That's how great Ayumi is. They would be a great pair. Better than ShinRan, ConAi and other weird parings (like ShinKazu ) that can exist. Their interactions that are pure and simple are one of the reasons I love this pairing.

Why do people constantly brag about making AMVs despite them all being complete crap? The majority of them are just :generic instrumental track + the same 15 "emotional" scenes from whatever anime (whatever terrible anime with the exception of one piece) they choose with their shitty little descriptions like "PLEASE WATCH!!1 I WORKED 30 HOURS ON THIS!!!" If you spend 30 hours working on a 5 minute video, you're a pathetic loser and you seriously need a new hobby, and a life Also would be nice if these random idiots would stop spamming my youtube inbox with their ridiculous crap

You know... They are too perfect EVEN WHEN COMPARED TO THE SERIES! I have no problems with suspension of disbelief, except when it goes BEYOND the source material. Which the DC movies ALWAYS do. Seriously... they take the character perfection way too far.

My fav characters are: 1.Sato! She is so cool! 2.Heiji. He isn't as stuck up as Conan/Shinichi. 3.Agasa. I just love him! Who could make those kinds of gadgets? And his pot-belly always make me laugh!

Well they are the same person, but Conan is like the "grown up" version of Shinichi (IRONY IS DELICIOUS). At the beginning of the manga Shinichi is kinda big headed. He also doesn't understand Ran as much as he does now. Of course Shinichi is pretty much perfect when he's in a case (understands everyone's emotions and knows everything). His "flaws" come out when he's with Ran though. Those "flaws" are now "fixed" when he's Conan (so he's even more perfect now LOL)

Yeah... No topic ever warrants 3 topics... ever. It just doesn't. Edit your post, add stuff to the current... Something... We don't need duplicate threads ever, they provide no benefit to anyone, and only serve to annoy because it breaks up the discussion. Now! On to what I think about this whole thing! Keep in mind this is all my opinion. First! I have no idea the demand for a DCW Wiki app. I cannot imagine it being too high, unless you have a group of friends that you debate with in person over DC with. The only people I can see who would need it are those who use their mobile phones a lot and are always on the go. But really, for most purposes Wikipedia serves most for their wiki needs on the go (and their mobile app is just lovely). I personally do not see the need for it. NEXT! That trailer... My reaction: Sorry, I couldn't resist. I've literally been waiting for an opportunity to use that clip! Seriously... We saw nothing of its functionality (and I'll get to that in a bit). A trailer is supposed to excite and highlight the key elements or at least the most exciting things. It is an interest builder. It really didn't do that. You need to show off what sets your app apart from just going to the actual site on your mobile browser. THIRD! The app itself (this will be a two parter)... From the trailer: It looks like its a zoomed in portal to the desktop site. That is it. No offense to you, but... that isn't good design for a few reasons. First is that, DCW especially, is very image intensive, that means high bandwidth. So those people with data limits will be at higher risk of using up their allotted data. Second is that it was obviously designed with desktop in mind. This makes it cumbersome to use efficiently as an app. Lastly... it isn't intuitive nor integrated into the Android ecosystem. Basically, what should be an actual wiki app, is just a glorified bookmark. My suggestion... Ask around at how to convert a wiki into a mobile format for an app. The trailer also failed to show what separated it from just a bookmark widget linking to the DCW wiki. Native editing capabilities, integrated search bar... nothing of that degree was shown (the latter is the kicker though, most wiki apps don't allow for editing but all that I have seen and used had some sort of search function) From what I found on the internet (that site where you can post demos of apps and make them downloadable or not) (this will be short, and I am also assuming its the same app) The DC Fan app I believe you called it... The wiki part is confirmed to what I thought, and really should be redesigned to a mobile format. The other two things on there... the video and manga... needs to be removed. That is violating copyrights, as well as the Market policy. It is not good. I hope you take my suggestions in stride and show an updated app that makes sense for a mobile platform. Scrolling should really be only up and down, not side to side. There are many ways to go about it, and you should find the best method that suits you and your programming and design style. As it stands, having a bookmark widget will do the same as your app. Best, Kyuu

So I've had like 3 people tell me to get an account on DCW, and I kept saying, no no, I don't need one. Welp. So I made one. I like Detective Conan, and Cardcaptor Sakura. Oh, and Sandwich-san follows me on Tumblr, so that makes me awesome already, right? About me, I guess. I'm 19, a girl, and currently in college. I'm a fanartist, but I'm shy about what I draw, so usually my stuff isn't shown to everyone. I don't bite, though I might go after you with a pair of scissors.

I think Ai/Shiho harbors some affection for Conan/Shinichi, but I think she is also clever enough to see that it is one-sided. Shinichi is pretty darn hung up on Ran, to the point where he is completely blind to anyone else's attention, including Shiho's. From my understanding of Shiho's character, I don't think she will ever make her feelings known. But I think that is for the best. Recall Shiho's tragic backstory. Her parents, both members of the Black Organization, are dead. From a young age, she was shipped off to a foreign land and groomed for a special position killing people. Her beloved sister, who was probably the only person she could confide in her entire life, was killed by the Black Organization. Shiho's life was steeped in tragedy. Then she attempted suicide by taking the APTX-4869 she had developed. But instead of dying, she shrank. If any of you have known someone who seriously attempted suicide, you know they do not overcome their depression and get better right away. The depression that was strong enough to make the individual want to die still exists. It takes lots of time and lots of help for any sort of positive change. And there's also the possibility that the person will try it again, which we did see when Shiho chose to remain on the bus with the bombs. When someone is going through all of this, the pursuit of romance is probably the worst thing for them. Romance comes with such a wide array of emotions that it really isn't good for someone in such a sensitive position. Even though Shiho may have a crush on Shinichi, I think it is wise that she is not pursuing this relationship (which, given the closeness of Shinichi and Ran, would probably end in heartbreak anyway). The best way for Shiho to recover is to take time to relax away from her regular stresses, spend time with her new found friends, and discover what makes her happy. I think Shiho's shrinking incident was actually a blessing. She got away from the Black Organization, she made some friends, and she is finally starting to live a normal life. Because Haibara was never really able to have a childhood, I can see her choosing to stay a child at the end while Shinichi chooses to grow up. I think this would be an ideal way for Shiho to reboot her life, and I think it's clear that this current lifestyle is already making her much happier. So there you have it. I might have gone off-topic a bit, but my main reason I disagree with Conan/Ai is because I don't see that scenario as being healthy for Shiho. Although everyone has their own opinion, I hope mine makes sense to you guys! <3
