This thread is ridiculous. Are you people serious?

Naturally, they are the same person, but it's rather difficult to associate Conan as Shinichi sometimes because the two feel individually different. It may be just me, but I find Shinichi more captivating to watch than his younger counterpart. I know a lot of people can probably explain better than I can, but there's definitively something magnetic about Shinichi's screen presence that makes the scene feel more engaging and important. That was probably poorly written and there's probably a inconstancy error in this concept somewhere, but I'll ask anyway. Whose your favorite & Why? <3

First of all just because people don't want Ran to get saved (like me) it doesn't me we don't like her as a character. And just because we don't like a character it's fine. People are free to dislike y/y? I'm not fond of swimming when there is seaweed, does that mean I need to get burned on the stake by seaweed loving fans? Seriously. Anyways I don't understand why movie/anime staff keeps insisting that Ran IS IN DANGER OMGGG!11! for their openings and movies. It's just writing by people who can't write dramatic tension and romantic development without dramatic explosions. Didn't Gosho show over and over that when Ran doesn't really get in the danger- it's more of a gag nowadays. What happens when a criminal threatens Ran? Conan goes RAN I'M COMING TO SAVE YOU before Ran axe kicks them in the face. And when she DOES get into danger she either takes care of it herself or someone will help her out, she's not surrounded by FBI, CIA, POLICE, detective father, lawyer mother, detective best friends, karate friends, millionaire best friend for nothing.

It was Scar Akai who sent the message. Why you think it's Okiya ? Just because Okiya also solved the case doesn't necessarily mean he's the one that sent. Basically there are 3 person who solved the case: Conan, Okiya and Scar Akai (off-screen). Gosho doesn't show SA solving, but that can be deduced by the readers because like you said, it doesn't make sense if Okiya sent it, while the one to return the phone was SA. The proof is that although Okiya figured out that the case was related to the snow-mountain event (702 - page 15), and since he searched the Internet, he would most likely find out that the one who sent the shirts was the daughter (Conan also figured it out that way); the message that Kogoro received didn't have that part (704). It only solved the 13-red-shirt mystery without revealing the identity of the shirts' sender, so he and the sender could not be the same person (this clue may not be convincing enough). Secondly, judging from the way the sender speak: "Hurry and complete your investigation so that we may be released." we can see that he's in a rush, which suits Scar Akai's situation, who wanted to get out fast (he felt that there's someone watching him in 702; but there might have been other causes as well). Meanwhile, Okiya still stayed calm, he also didn't have any reason to be that hurried either... Furthermore, if you assume that Okiya is Akai, then he has already known that Conan's the brain behind Kogoro and how smart he is, he didn't need to send Kogoro that message, as Conan would figure out anyway. Chek wants to add that the random guy said it was Scar Akai who returned the cellphone Kogoro received the message from. Ran figured out the phone by texting it.

In the shirigami case conan took the antidote by mistake but took him awhile to turn into a 17 year old but at the end of the case when shinichi turned back into conan, Ai gave conan another antidote and turned back into Shinichi right-away. Why didn't Conan turn into shinichi right-away when he first took the antidote? There where many places this happened.

Dear Anonymous, I don't care who's ideal it is. If it's the right one, I'll support it. The way you put it basically means this: Men have the rights to do pretty much whatever they want and women just have to go along with it. So if a husband was beating his wife, it would technically be considered "ok" because he "rules over his wife and the wife must obey him."
