Situation

Part 1

The Detective Boys decided to go mushroom picking in the mountains. And during it, Genta got lost in the hunting area. They split into two groups to search for Genta. And Haibara and Mitsuhiko… discovered a dead body, and have become targets for the dangerous hunter.

	Victim: The hunter Cause of death: Gunshot wound Suspects: Kiyoshi Yasaka, Tomoya Negoro, and Matasaburo Saika Haibara found the dead hunter while Mitsuhiko tells the culprit that they're people.

They found Genta, and three hunters decided to help them look for Haibara and Mitsuhiko.

It turns out the culprit (Matasaburo Saika) was not trying to kill Ai and Mitsuhiko, but trying to save them from the wrath of Junbei the bear. She (the bear) had been stalking the kids because they had befriended one of two cubs Junbei had had that year, the other one had been killed by the mirdered hunter in order to lue Junbei out in the open.

Junbei had saved the killer from freezing to death when he had broken both his legs hunting for Junbei, and the rescue team, mistaing Junbei's intentions and thinking she had wanted to eat him, had taken out her eye when saving him. Since then he had been trying to keep her safe.

Ais clue when telling Conan about the culprit was a set of mushrooms on a stick, the was they were mounted mimicking the way the suspects were carrying their rifles. But it had not been the poisonous mushroom out of the three buf the type Agasa had earlier called 'the culprit'.
