Kogoro, Ran, and Conan attend a car show in Izuku Oogen, Shizuoka Prefecture, and Kogoro is hired to find out who sent a threatening message. Teraizumi is later found dead in his car with full of fume.

Cause of death: Carbon monoxide poisoning from the car's exhaust

Kogoro opens the Ferrari Dino door and sees Daigo dead after he inhaled the exhaust fumes from the car.

The culprit is Hisashi Suguro. Suguro revealing that Teraizumi scammed him out of his car, which he bought with the hard-earned money he saved up.

• The five classic supercars in the museum are a 1967 Toyota 2000GT [MF10], a 1953 Jaguar XK 120 Roadster, a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Coupe 'Gullwing' [W198], a 1953 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible [6267S], and a 1966 Ferrari Dino 206 GT.
