Situation

Kogoro, Ran, and Conan pass by chance next to a building game construction site, where there is verified a tragic accident. Yuuji Inomata, the owner of the facility, is overwhelmed by some metal pipes and dies instantly. CSI notes that the strap that held the pipe is cut, so there is not an accident but a murder.

Cause of death: Blunt trauma by falling Steel frame

Suspects: Masao Kaneda

For kill the victim, the murderer would have to climb the stack and show himself to those present, but other than the victim none of the workers approached the scene of the crime. Conan investigates to find out how it is possible to cause this fake accident and engages the culprit with Kogoro's voice.
