Food poisoning - attempted murder
Location: An all-you-can-eat sweet shop in Haido City Royal Hotel
Victim: Satomi Amari (deceased), Naoko Shimamura (injured)
Age: 21 years old
Poison: Snake venom
Suspects: Naoko Shimamura, Kyoka Kasai, Ryuichiro Mita, and Shunsuke Yumemura
The two ladies began to writhe in pain and suddenly collapsed after consuming the drink, with one having passed away.
Ran tries to contact Shinichi for help solving the case, while Ayumi calls Conan. However, none of their calls are answered, as the owner of the two phones is busy fishing with Professor Agasa. It seems the girls will have to solve the case on their own.
The police begin to interrogate people who were nearby when the incident occurred, as usual.
