Kogoro takes Conan and Ran to the Birdman Rally at Hikone. Heiji also takes Kazuha to the event and meets the Mouris, so they decide to spectate the event together.

Three years ago, Ryu Momochi and his gang were pursued by the police after failing to rob a bank, and resorted to splitting up.
