Masao had to go to trial due to the robbery, but was declared not to be a danger to society and given a suspended sentence. He retrieved his sister's ashes as well as the flower plant "born" from the seeds, and returned to his hometown in peace to arrange for Sanae's official burial.

Plot

Part 1

Masao Kouda (Matt Kohler) claims Yoshikazu Watanuki (Walter Rivers) has killed his sister and has buried her in his yard. Making things worse is the intent he has to break into Watanuki's yard when he's gone to the hospital for his weekly Saturday treatment. Conan believes the story at first, but a call with Kouda's voice causes him to begin doubting everything he has heard.

Part 2

Kouda hides stolen jewelry in Watanuki's yard to force the police department to dig it up, but unbeknown to him is that Mother Nature has caused an optical illusion to fool witness Shinichi Mchida (Sean Moss). Can Conan prove Masao's innocence before a guilty man gets away permanently?
