Napshot64 Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 A mobile-compatable DC World. Nowadays, a lot of people have these web-browsing phones and iPods, so why not make a m.detectiveconanworld.com? And once the videos come back, videos could be put into a format that allows viewing on ipods/pads/phones, and other mobile devices. I'm aware that it's easier said than done, but I'm just throwing this on the table.

I don't know how that works, but that may be a whole 'nother ball of wax altogether. Maurice will know more about that.
tengaku squared Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 Now that you mention it, when I try to access the wiki from my phone, it redirects to Wikipedia... EDIT: And once the videos come back, videos could be put into a format that allows viewing on ipods/pads/phones, and other mobile devices. I'm aware that it's easier said than done, but I'm just throwing this on the table. I believe it is if...the videos come back...
Cheesus Posted January 20, 2011 Report Posted January 20, 2011 im pretty sure you dont need to add much to make it mobile. Correct me if im wrong
Maurice Posted January 21, 2011 Report Posted January 21, 2011 That's actually something I've had in mind for a very long time. I have an iPhone myself and I sure know that it could be quite interesting to have a mobile version of the site. I also know that the wiki points to wikipedia for now. That's due to the way the platform is configured to interact with mobiles (which I'll need to change/fix). I've just never had a chance to work on a project like that yet plus it wasn't really a priority. But in the future, we might indeed have a mobile version of the site. So, do look forward to that!
tengaku squared Posted January 22, 2011 Report Posted January 22, 2011 You should convert this into a poll...I think it got enough attention...
IdentityUnknown Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 True. They have a m.fanfiction.net as well. I haven't tried getting on DCW from my iTouch though...
hopes Posted April 14, 2011 Report Posted April 14, 2011 It works on my iTouch now. A couple months ago, it didn't work. But now it does!!
