AokoNakamori Posted January 1, 2012 Report Posted January 1, 2012 Earthquake in Japan on the first day of 2012?! not even an hour into the new year Japan was hit by a 7.0 earthquake. a moment of silence please? 1
Scar Akai Posted January 1, 2012 Report Posted January 1, 2012 May they be able to recover soon.... 1
Black Demon Posted January 1, 2012 Report Posted January 1, 2012 That's terrible. I hope that there will be no life lost.
Kaitou Kid Legendary Thief Posted January 1, 2012 Report Posted January 1, 2012 I'm sure they'll be able to deal with it. They dealt with so many other worse disasters. We have to believe in them. There have been no damage reported though. The only danger is the start of a tsunami due to the earthquake since heir earthquake preparations have been pretty well done. So let's hope that everything would be fine. 1
tengaku squared Posted January 1, 2012 Report Posted January 1, 2012 Clap, clap. Now, if we all remembered this happened a month or two from now, I'll be surprised. And besides, like KKLT said, Japan's fared worse. They've survived sunamis and earthquakes, they've survived the nuclear bomb. 1
detective1 Posted January 1, 2012 Report Posted January 1, 2012 WHAT! How come there is another earthquake that is a shock news, Hope everything is okay since their been lots of trouble their.
Tsukiko Posted January 1, 2012 Report Posted January 1, 2012 Oh, I heard about this too. And if I understood right there is nothing to worry about. The earthquake was deep underground or something... 1
Wildheart888 Posted January 1, 2012 Report Posted January 1, 2012 DD: Reallyyy?? Oh noooes!! That's really sad.... >_< Hope they'll recover soon..........
Awagode Posted January 1, 2012 Report Posted January 1, 2012 Heart it today in the news. It was actually quite shocking >_<. Great everything is OK. At least the buildings were prepared.
yungching Posted January 1, 2012 Report Posted January 1, 2012 DDD: Didn't even see it on the news... DDD: Hope it's alright... It reassures me a bit that you all say it wasn't too bad...
detective1 Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 DDD: Didn't even see it on the news... DDD: Hope it's alright... It reassures me a bit that you all say it wasn't too bad... I agree, I didn't heard any news about this even on New Year News...
Anti-APTX4869 Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 this is horrible.... I want to teavel to Japan soon D: I hope everyone is okay...
Valkyrie Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 Hope everyone there's okay... They suffered so many disasters already. Why can't Nature cut them a break?
Cindy-Chen Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 I know! 2nd terrible earthquake. *sighs*
Scar Akai Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 Weird thing that it didn't get the front page of newspapers
Tsukiko Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 Gosh!!! It is not a big thing! Okay, 7.0 is pretty much but still no one was hurt. The center of the eartquake was at the seas 600 kilometers away from Tokyo and didn't even cause any tsunami! Only some trains in middle and north Japan stopped because of security issues but that's all. And if you wonder how I know this much: Read newspapers, folks!

You don't have to sound so harried and frustrated.
tengaku squared Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 Some people just might not know you know. You don't have to sound so harried and frustrated. It is rather frustrating when people overhype the news.
IdentityUnknown Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 It is rather frustrating when people overhype the news. *shrugs* Still. It's not the most important thing in the world and really shouldn't be worth getting upset for. We're aware that it didn't cause any damage and there is no need to worry. A simple statement would suffice.
Sherlock Lupin Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 As everyone else has said, yes, it's sad, but the Japanese have been through worse.
Vi Graythorn Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 7 wow thats really big how much damage is there?
Scar Akai Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 Well, there weren't newspapers for the past two days!
Kaitou Kid Legendary Thief Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 7 is not really big for Japan. They get earthquakes every other day since they are in the earthquake (volcanic regions) zone. Their buildings are mostly prepared for scenarios like this. It doesnt seem to be generating a tsunami so theres no danger. The only thing worth to be concerned about is the omen... An earthquake of considerable degree on new years is not a good omen... :V
Vi Graythorn Posted January 3, 2012 Report Posted January 3, 2012 i noe they get earthquake alot but there houses r usally only meant 4 around 2 or 5 earthquakes not 7
