Cocoa moth Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 Shinichi and Conan are actually two unrelated persons, the latter one thinking that he is Shinichi because he envies the success of the young detective. Shinichi himself really is a detective, but at night his kleptomania transforms him to some kind of Mr. Hyde which is the reason he dons the costume of the phantom thief. This is also the reason behind their similar appearance and taste in girls (Aoko and Ran look pretty much alike, except for their hair... maybe they're also the same person with an identity problem). Anokata is actually a black feathered duck wearing a fedora.

He's currently in a coma, after the roller coaster than he and Ran went on suddenly malfunctioned and they all got into a huge accident.
