i voted for Detective Conan because i like the acronym "DC". it sounds cool to me. and i used to watch Detective Conan on Animax and Animax called it Detective Conan. nostalgia maybe~

I don't think Case Closed is a bad name at all, but I've known the series longer as "Detective Conan" and that's the way I want it to stay.

As for "Meitantei Conan", I don't think that's a great idea at all, at least not for English speakers... To me, it seems pretty lazy not to translate the title. I think the title of anything should go some length towards attracting the reader.

I like DC, because Case Closed sounds... silly. I watched the english dub for a while, then started the subs. After a while ,I went back to the dub... and I couldn't stand it! I was so used to reading the words off the screen I didn't understand the case when the characters spoke. Not to mention, the english voices don't really... match...

Now, back to the subject; I like Detective Conan more than Case Closed.
