Technically, Shinichi was only trying to shoot off the fabric so that Kaitou KID's face would be revealed, so he wasn't trying to kill KID (Shinichi would know better). Shinichi would've assumed that KID had grabbed onto something other than the fabric, making it possible for him to hang on without being affected by wind. He would also assume that KID was experienced enough to have a backup plan, which KID didn't (since he was surprised by Shinichi's arrival) but KID had enough cool to find a way out of it. MK isn't as good as DC, but I still can't wait for Gosho Aoyama to continue it. I don't know where he wants to go with it though, will it just be heists and stuff like that until they meet Snake again? Other thing, I didn't get the chapter when Kaito was impersonated by a robot. What was all that about?

I know how you feel. I mean, everybody around me is either "JB is so awesome" or "JB is horrible. I hate him." I don't usually listen to his songs, but I've heard one or two and the lyrics aren't bad or anything. JB is just another guy, he's a kid, and it's just plain rude to call him names. I don't hate JB but I don't exactly love him either. Why do people even hate him? I mean, you can say his music isn't great, but hate? There's a really good quote out there (I forget by who), it says you can hate what people do, but you can't hate the person. JB's music isn't my favorite, I prefer DC music . I do wonder why he's short and why his voice is high, but it's not in my position to question it. End of discussion.
