  1. ********* "So, how much did you guys steal again?" asked Krev dubiously, taking a stack of multi-value dollars from Nero's palm, the golden-haired boy sporting a wicked grin. "This one thing right has to be five thousand at least." "We took twenty-five thousand approximately," said Nero, mischievous smile only widening. "They won't miss it either- the security didn't even notice Chaos and me, and I fixed their computers to accommodate for their unfortunate loss. But it'll be put to good use." Nero approached a nearby ATM next to the empty ticket booth, taking out a screw driver. "Getting a credit card from this'll be a lot easier," he explained, pressing buttons at light speed and inserting the money as if there was no tomorrow. "I'll make... fo- I mean five of them," he added hastily, looking in Aeyra's direction. So far the younger girl had been quiet, not having said a single word since they departed. Nero still felt a pang of annoyance at her tagging along, but it truly was better that they could watch over her instead of her struggling through the country to follow their tracks. He felt more responsible, and a little more forgiving since Aeyra, as Nyx, had been a part of the group before, and had done quite well for such a new member. He wondered if he should encourage her to switch back to the Organization given name- it would help her forget the guilt that came with her decision. That's a choice she should make herself... he thought firmly, buying five tickets for a train to Miami. They other group wouldn't find them- the Organzation team hadn't had trackers on them in the first place, and he'd removed Aeyra's. It was 5:00AM now, and the train to Atlanta, Georgia was only five minutes to arrival time. From Atlanta, they'd head straight to Miami. But there was something Chaos didn't get. "Nero, there's another train leaving four hours from now, and we'd still get to Florida in time for your appointment- you switched it to tomorrow morning, right? Why the he'll did we wake up so early?" "More time at the beach, unwind, get an iced coffee or ten," he answered mildly, a laugh at the edge of his tone. "Miami is a great place! We're taking the fastest trains, and we'll be able to play on the sand. I've always wanted to." His eyes glimmered wistfully. "I've never been to a beach. You guys wouldn't remember if you did either," he said the other Organization team members. "Aeyra, what's the beach like?" Pausing, she deliberated before answering, uncomfortable with being put in the spotlight. "In Miami, the water sparkles, throwing off the white hot light of the sun, and the sand feels like it could burn off your feet. The waves arent big, but the currents are strong. The skies are a beautiful blue, and there are fish swimming in the ocean if you look hard enough." She hesitated, chuckling as if at a private joke. "But you know the best beach, South Beach?" Nero nodded, all his attention focused on the description. "It's topless I'm pretty sure. Women included." Aeyra gave a small smile. Nero's mouth gaped open, and he snorted. "As a teenage boy, I feel it is my duty to immediately say 'we're definitely going'!" His shoulders shook from mirth. "What do you think, Chaos?" "I don't remember where the duties of teenage boys are posted, and besides, I thought you were a rebel, Nero. Rules were made to be broken," scolded Chaos playfully. "And banks are meant to be broken into, but nobody ever agrees with me," sighed Nero, melodramatic frown on his face. "All that money in one concentrated area, it's like begging to be taken." "It's wrong, according to the usual code of ethics. "Thou shalt not steal" and all that other stuff," said Aeyra, watching Nero's one man show with amusement. A whoosh of air blew her hair across her face, and she had to spit out a few dark brown tendrils before announcing, "Train's here." ****** So tired... Thank god it's the weekend.

  8. ************* Nero gently tapped Chaos and Krev on the shoulder, stifling a yawn as he woke up the two peacefully sleeping boys. The clock on the nightside table read 3:00AM, the red numbers glowing luminously against the darkness. Chaos stretched luxuriously, much like a cat, blinking, then blinking again, wondering where the hell the sun was. In his drowsy state, he contemplated the possibility of it blowing up some time in the night. And then he realized it was still night, and Nero had just robbed him if sleep time. While Chaos wasn't an oversleeper, his short sleeping hours were definitely precious to him. A few feet away, Nero stood grinning, teeth reflecting the crimson light, and Chaos immediately rose to hit him in the abdomen, causing Nero to stumble back into Krev, who had risen from the other bed. "That was for waking me up," growled Chaos softly, the grumbling in his throat like a hearty purr- though it was anything but happy. "Why the he'll did you wake me up?" "You know how I said I had an appointment 'nearby' a few days ago?" asked Nero, watching Chaos nod and hearing Krev's mummur of agreement. "I lied. My appointment is in Miami tonight. And we're going to take the train." "We're leaving, aren't we?" leered Chaos gleefully, eager to reduce the number of people he had to deal with down to three again. "Good. This has gotten sickening. But give us a warning, sheesh. I'm sleeping on the train, just by the way." "Leaving?" mused Krev thoughtfully, though his tone was amicable. "Sure. Let's do it. Should I get Brise?" "We'll all go. No point in otherwise," shrugged Nero, opening the door to the girl's room. "Good thing we're all dressed. And that we don't have luggage. But as for money, I'll be kind enough to leave them with the card." "What about us?" protested Chaos quietly, not wanting to wake someone. "It'll be fine," assured Nero. "I'll just rob a bank on the way there, no biggie." "By yourself?" Chaos raised his golden eyebrows skeptically. "Do I look like I need help? It's east really. They'd never even know I got in." ************** Aeyra was having a restless night, unable to relax as she pondered her choices. As much as she loathed to admit it, she was attracted to the power of the Organization like a moth to a lamp. She knew she didn't stand a chance of beating the Organization where she was- the only success possible would be extending their lives by a few months or so. But Chaos and Nero, well, they could do it. They were strong, determined, intelligent, and brilliant. They could win. They had definitely been discussing leaving, discussing the annoyingness of being stuck with their group, of not being listened to. They had always been the stars of their own show, and now they were being treated like bit players. It was a demotion they wouldn't stand for. But the problem was Aeyra wanted to go with them, leave, and she felt terrible about it. These were her friends, she trusted them, and most important in the guilt factor, they trusted her. And she wanted to abandon it to join a posse of teenagers she hardly knew. Well, she knew them, their names, their personalities, but she wasn't one of them. She was torn. The door creaked, and she turned to the noise, wondering which perverted boy was trying to take a peek at the sleeping girls. Nero crept in first, followed by Chaos and Krev, and they walked up to the bed beside her, the bed belonging to Brise. "Wake up, Brise," whispered Krev, leaning down so he could whisper directly into her ear. "We're leaving." He gave her a gentle shake. "Come on, wake up!" "Whatimisit?" muttered Brise, words coming out in a jumbled mess, "Three o'clock, but rise and shine anyways. Nero has to get to Miami, and we have to go with him," explained Krev. Aeyra listened intently from the side. "Fine," mumbled Brise, extending had arm and allowing Krev to pull her into a sitting position. She stood up, yawning. "Get me breakfast though, 'Kay?" "Okay, we're leaving," murmured Nero, walking towards the doorway. Aeyra froze. It was now or never. She knew that she'd probably regret not at least trying to go for eternity if she didn't ask. Slinking off of her mattress, she nervously stepping towards the now watching foursome. "I want to come with you," she stated, quietly but clearly. "Please let me. I'll listen to everything you say, and I won't argue. Just let me go with you." "... You'd leave your friends? To follow us who-knows-where?" asked Nero sarcastically. "Stay, you might live longer." "But lifespan doesn't matter unless you can achieve something. I'd rather live fourteen years, bring down the Organization and perhaps die in the proccess than live one hundred running like a mouse from a cat. And here, I can't do much more than run or hide." Aeyra's chesnut brown eyes blazed even in the darkness, fiery with her desire. She wanted to join, they had to accept her. She spoke the truth, every word. "I don't want to waste my life. I'd like to do something with it." "Something tells me you'd follow us even without us saying yes," observed Chaos, examining Aeyra up and down. "Don't blame me when you get killed." "Is that a yes?" asked Aeyra, tingly with excitement and doubt. "Better her with us than behind us. And it's wrong to knock out a girl," sighed Nero, clenching and unclenching his fist. "Though I want to." "Thank you," murmured Aeyra, trully grateful. "This means a lot to me." "No problem," said Brise kindly, herding the younger girl into their midst. "No regrets though, got it?" "Got it." But Aeyra still couldn't help but feel a wave of guilt pass her as they left for the train. ********** Dun, dun, duuuuuunnnnnn! How was it? :3
  9. I've done that like- once... I thought Shimizu Hikaru (I think that's the name) was asking if anyone wanted to volunteer for the job. Oh, and if possible, ask her to change the title. It's too long. I don't know to what, but the title almost drove me away. Only you (Chelsea) saying it was good cconvinced me to read any of it. I want a beta reader for my HP story... But no one volunteers...

Before you say anything, I'm not a fan of giant robots. The manga has less. Thank god. (hated the giant robots. I don't care that Suzaku operates one though. :3 Cuz he's SUZAKU!!!)
  11. I love how I have over two hours of homework everyday and volleyball practice... *sarcasm dripping from voice*

I don't watch anime. I only watched so much Hetalia because I was at a sleepover. I have no time, and I've tried, believe me. I left after seeing the art. The manga is prettier. And I think it's better. I'm the kind of person who always likes reading better!!! (unless it's a crappy book like Percy Jackson! The movie was so much better!!!!) I've never even watched all the anime of Death Note.
  14. The FBI?!?!?! O.o LOLZ. Sorry... I've got sixty seconds. Gotta go! :3
  15. I'll read it once I have time.
  16. Oh... My intention for them was to follow them out... It's awkward for them to just stay in that empty room... But she never said he stayed either, or followed them out. I just noticed Brise is too overly helpful in that... She's kind (compared to the other three), and while she would inform, she wouldn't say it out loud. Same family loyalty thing I mentioned earlier.

WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! SUZAKU IS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER!!!!!! D: He's awesome, he wants to change the world the right way, has a suicidal streak, is awesome, is cute :3(especially dressed as a cat), is awesome, is very athletic, is awesome, looked so cute with Eulphie, and is the greatest character in CG for me. I haven't watched the anime (I tried. I gave up at five minutes. It was different from the manga!!! D:) and I've only read up to Ch. 17 of the manga because that's all there is online. AND BORDERS DIDN'T HAVE IT WHEN I WENT!!! And my best friend is always nagging me to watch it... Her fav character is Lelouch... Kind of funny. I <3 Light Yagami (DeathNote), but I'm not too big a fan of Lelouch. And they're essentially the same character. It all comes down to reasoning though... Light wanted to save the world from evil by killing criminals, but Lelouch wanted to kill off the Brittanian Empire... So in essence, I think Lelouch is evil, but Light isn't. (well, he is, but not that evil...) But Suzaku is the greatest. He's the only reason I really want to keep reading. Because he's epic. (Lelouch is too evil, Kallen annoys me, CC was kind of weird, Nunally ended up looking stupid after I read 'Nightmare of Nunally', and everyone else is meh.) So, all in all... ... SUZAKU FTW!!!!
  18. Nero and Chaos walked back into the main room afterwards(they followed KKLT out). That's where Krev and Brise were.
  19. He knows teamwork. He just doesn't lime working with people who disagree with him. He doesn't like our code of morals. *shrugs* I think he's going to leave. It's weird, but Nero and Chaos feel so alive in my head. I just listen to what they say and write it down really. XD I'm not even joking... So I feel weird when someone writes them OOC... because the Nero and Chaos start complaining. But they sleep most of the time, except when I'm reading/writing here. Funny, huh?
  20. Well, we aren't exactly showing them that we do a good job of things. And Nero and Chaos can be much too cocky for their own good, and they believe they can do their individual filds better than anybody else. And they don't like having their judgment disagreed with by an argument that simply wouldn't exist in their previous world. You know what I mean? Their characters are so complex...
  21. You know what, screw stupid double posts THIS TOPIC IS SUDDENLY UNACTIVE!!! I'm writing whether anyone likes it or NOT! And sorry Monsi, but I'm going to ignore the Krev and Brise helping thing. Because they wouldn't risk it. It's not in their nature... (because like it or not, they are all cold-blooded killers... They only feel guilt from time to time. Do you see them mourning the murders they've committed? No. They're not kind and compassionate I'm afraid. They're just very messed up teenagers with very serious issues. **************** "I'm really starting to wonder why we shouldn't just leave," muttered Nero darkly, playing Pokemon with Chaos watching over his shoulder. "I don't want to waste my time here. And besides, we don't even need them. They need us- and frankly, I don't give a shit that they do. We're playing this by our rules, and they don't like it. If I get restricted one more time, I'm leaving even if none of you come with me." "I'd come with you, Nero," assured Chaos, thinking the same things. It wasn't like if one of his group, his family, disappeared that he wouldn't try and save him, but he knew they'd never pull off such an idiotic and dangerous stunt. And if they did, they knew there would be nobody searching, kicking yourself out was kicking yourself out. Done. "I don't like it here either. I say we just get Krev and Brise, steal some car, take the credit card, and take the Organization down our own way. I've seen what you've been doing with that computer- we could do it. And it'd be much easier without us having to drag them along." Krev and Brise lay within earshot, silently flipping through the pages of one of their favorites, Romeo and Juliet, together, hands touching. They looked at each other chalkengingly, asking the other if they agreed with the two blond boys. Both cold, dark gray metal and golden-brown honey showed their consent- how would they possibly even consider staying? Chaos and Nero were like brothers, closer than brothers, and they all needed each other. Sure the two pairs were more tightly knot than the group itself, but they were still connected. If one person disagreed, they all did. And they usually thought the same ways. Aeyra laid on the bed restlessly, unable to sleep through the swathe of conflicting thoughts that threatened to swamp her. She couldn't but feel almost the same way as the Organization members- it was her selfish, achievement-centric personality, one that demanded the ability to be on top and reach a goal. Her goal was to defeat the Organization, otherwise she could never live the rest of her life in peace. It would be an impossibility. And she was swaying towards the side that promised better chances. Buy- the side on which she currently resides were where her weakening loyalties were, to these people she called her friends, but that was about it. She couldn't feel a family-like bond, the invincible thread that withstood all. Her love was rarely given and even more rarely shown. What to do? Right or wrong, victory or loss, friend or foe, where she felt she would fit in and where she was. She knew Nero probably wouldn't take her, but if worst came to worst and she made a decision, she would do everything in her power to make him. If she wanted something dine, she did it with her whole heart. She didn't think even her whole heart could help her win where she currently was. Life or death... So I can only hope I am forgiven in the end... *********** Yeah, that is my real personality. My unwavering loyalty applies to only a few select people in my life, like my brother, parents (sometimes. You know how parents are), my best friends (there are two/five. I'm trying to figure out if the not-as-close three are under my unswerving loyalty) I thought the Organization members would have to have that mindset to survive, goals come first, family next. Otherwise, they'd be dead. (AKA... If sorted into Hogwarts, they'd be Slytherins, like me. More extreme, violent Slytherins, but Slytherins. We're not Gryffindors, that much is for certain.)
  22. LOLZ. America is a male!! AND HE IS THE HERO!!! XDDDDD I only watched up to episode 30 of Hetalia. :3 But my favorite was China! (aru! Though I've never said that once...) He's so awesome, he can beat Germany with a wok, and Japan with... ... some other non-weapon weapon.

    ALIENS!

I added on to my mini-rant. Now it's a small rant. :3 Is it correct, Moho? I didn't study much physics and stuff.
  24. Aeyra

    ALIENS!

Ah, but there must be at least some other planets with life. And life starts small, but with proper conditions, it can evolve into more sophisticated beings, and become what we can call 'intelligent'. While we cannot be sure of who is more 'intelligent', we can just about say there has to be other intelligent life forms out there. I don't believe we'll find stuff like Star Wars or Star Trek and stuff, but it's interesting to imagine possibilities. Like- what if other non-humanoid creatures developed larger brains and higher mental capacities? If they became more dexterous with their paws/fins/other appendages, what creatures would we have? It's very interesting. But science is not my thing. Biology sounds like a nightmare. *shudders* Oh, and to those saying "Then why haven't we seen them yet?" let's just stop thinking in movie terms. They could be on the other side of the freaking universe, literally billions, and trillions, and googolplex light years away!! And since it's physically impossible to travel faster than light (without entering the fourth dimension I believe), it would take trillions of years for those beings to reach us. I highly doubt they can live that long, have enough fuel, navigation, food, air, liquid, to come here. The chances of encountering other intelligent life is very, very, very, very (repeat, oh, I don't know, as many times as you'd like) slim. But once I think about it, they might not be too far away either. We humans have never reached Andromeda, the closest galaxy (I think) to ours. Not with satellites, only with very powerful cameras. But another life form there could be trying to find 'aliens' as well, and not possess the capability to fly out that far. Do not underestimate the distance between stars, galaxies, and galaxy clusters. The distance itself makes the chances about zero. And then there's what Moho said about parallel universes, AKA string theory, where the probability of everything is one because everything has to happen. Therefore, a new universe is formed every time something has different choices, and aliens must exist in infinite universes. Life on earth does not exist in infinite universes. I think that's how the theory works. But my point is, stop thinking movie aliens and think of them as us. Can we travel thousands and thousands of light-years? Is it even possible? Probably not, so it's probably not possible for the aliens either. Face reality. And accept there has to be other intelligent life out there somewhere.
  25. @Chelsea I don't think I read that far seeing I didn't like the idea much. I do envy her update speed though... But warn her not to make Shinichi's full name Shinichi. Because that's a boy's name. (its like naming a girl Jimmy. :3 XD) Tell her to try Shinko or something. PS, I'll read it again to check. :3 And Chels, would you be willing to just look over chapters (the HP fic) before I post them? Just some feedback. Or do you think I should just post it on DCW for feedback? @Nobody-What story? ADDED ON LATER: @Chelsea: It looks perfectly fine to me. Just minor typos really. The 'him' and 'her' are completely unnoticeable, and names are used plenty. I never lost track of who and what and whatever. It's reasonably detailed, not amazing, but there's enough to envision what's going on pretty clearly. If I were betaing it, there wouldn't be much I'd touch up on- just a not mire detail and typos. I dont think tons of detail is her style.
