  1. Indeed he has, by my memory.
  2. I suppose so, except the fact that Heatran, Blissey, and a bunch of others can truly wall Glaceon. Ice is a good offensive type, but a horrible defensive type. Honestly, most of the Eeveelutions are pretty bad. Umbreon's a interesting one that manages to fit into several niches, but all of the Eeveeloutions suffer from bad movesets and general fraility or lack of speed.
  3. ^ And also, welcome to DCW! Nice avatar, BTW.
  4. Alright. In no particular order: Azelf - This member of the lake trio is simply geared towards tearing things apart. Give Azelf a Focus Sash and it becomes an effective lead. Give Azelf something that boosts its power (Life Orb or Expert Belt or Choice Specs) and you've got an attacker. Movepool is nothing to sneeze at, and it knows Explosion, my favorite move. Lickilicky - As Smogon states, "Lickilicky's movepool, like its tongue, stretches out to the horizon." Slow, but that also makes it a valuable part of Trick Room teams. What distinguishes this guy from Clefable or Snorlax is, quite frankly, Explosion. STAB Explosion will take out anything except Skarmory and other defensive walls, and Explosion makes a nice smoking crater in them as well. Honchkrow - Gotta love the mobster bird. Moveset and stat spread is absolutely wonderful for a mixed attacker (or physical attacker, if you want to exploi its higher Attack), though Speed leaves a lot to be desired for a Flying-type. Empoleon - Steel-types are good. Water/Steel types are very good. Empoleon makes an effective attacker who can take hits. Toxic immunity, also. Sadly, danged slow often dooms it to its fellow starter Infernape's Close Combat. In addition, Empoleon doesn't have the best movepool in the world. Gastrodon - One weakness, but that weakness is easily exploited by fast Grass-types like Sceptile. But Gastrodon is a very nice asset for a Sandstorm team, because of Storm Drain. Moveset packs quite a bit of variety. Notable mentions: Dialga - Oh man, you can have some fun with Dialga. Steel typing on a Uber is something most other Ubers would die for, and on a Dragon-type as well! Gives it neutral damage to one of the most prevalant typing in Ubers: Dragons. However, attacking stats leave a bit to be desired for a Uber, and it's slow. Heatran - Not sure what's with Heatran and it's status as a great revenge killer with Choice Scarf, but Scarfed Heatran has its merits...maybe? Manaphy - When I imported that egg from Pokemon Ranger, this cute Poke came out. 100 base stats for all, and also has a nice ability in Hydration, even if its situational. This thing got me through the game. Garchomp - My ultimate nightmare. Blazing Speed and absolutely GODLY Attack. Whether it's from Cynthia or competitive play, Garchomp is indeed, worthy of being a non-legendary Uber. Compatibility with multiple sets such as Swords Dance or Choice items makes it fairly unpredictable. In fact, Garchomp is so evil that the only thing that will counter Garchomp is...two Garchomps.
  5. I'm a fan of the manga, not the anime. God, Parkur is making fun of me because I'm watching .hack//Legend of the Twilight.
  6. Added a few songs to my library, and also planning on getting a last.fm...

  15. Laela didn't know she was being tailed. After all, the pursurer was very stealthy, his footsteps inaudible. Apparently, after a while, in an alley, the pursurer got tired of tailing Laela and said, "So, Tsukiko, or would you prefer Laela?" Laela turned around to be greeted by a seven-year old boy. However his outside appearances, though, this boy gave off a feeling that suggested this kid was older than he seemed. "I don't know who you're talking about," Laela said, keeping her composure. The boy sighed in annoyance, then said very slowly, as if talking to an idiot, "Hyper exonecrosia syndrome. Obviously, it's quite rare for it to occur, but here, an 'invading soul' freely takes over someone." The boy held out three fingers (index, middle, and ring), and all of a sudden, purple flames came out of his fingertips. "Of course, I know how to 'cure' this. Three pressure points. Here's the first," and the boy, in a blink of an eye, jammed his index finger into Laela's stomach. Laela recoiled, then shuddered for a moment. She began to feel faint, and fell over onto her knees. The boy stared at her, then put out the remaining flames and stuck out his hand. "You have a choice, Laela. Either you come with me, or you refuse, and I send you away. I'm pretty sure what option you would take." Laela took the boy's hand, and lifted herself. "As expected. Oh, and I watched you back there. Don't try anything funny, or I'll be forced to send you away." Laela began to walk alongside the boy, then asked the boy, "What's your name?" The boy tightened his lips for a moment, then replied, "I don't have a name in the typical sense: first name, middle name, last name. I left my name behind a long time ago. I go by my codename, Forte."
  16. "So, this mission was a big failure, wasn't it?" Mark sighed in annoyance, then said, "Well, I really wouldn't be talking, considering you were the one who got shot in the head and was buried by several feet of debris." Rex, in response, rubbed his bandaged head. "Hey, after patching myself up, I did some things that may lead to a more favorable outcome the next time we clash with the Seven Man Band." Barry raised his eyebrows, and said with a hint of sarcasm, "Oh, really now? Do tell." Rex sighed, then said, "Well, I managed to get to the Delta Works, not in time to save the wonder, mind you, and managed to get a glimpse of Forte." Mark leaned forward with interest. "Forte? Are you talking about that one person completely shrouded in mystery? Who managed to elude even me?" Rex nodded, or tried to nod, then continued, "He's an absolute brutal fighter. He's probably better than either Coda or Lash, heck, I doubt there's anyone who stands half a chance against him." Barry grunted, then inquired, "Say, wasn't Samuel the one in charge of defending the Delta Works? What happened to him?" Rex was silent for a moment, then said, "He's dead." Mark looked shocked. "Samuel, dead? And what about his men that he brought with him?" "All dead" was the response. The two words hang ominously over the three, until Mark pointed out, "Where's Remilia? She was against Dolche, right?" Barry stretched for a little bit, then said, "Don't worry. I managed to get her. She's unconscious, but she should be fine." Mark exhaled heavily. "Something tells me that's going to be the last bit of good news we're gonna hear for a long time..."
  17. Everywhere I look, there's like no information on Excalibur, which means that I'm really not sure whether to look forward to this or not. However, it's an OVA, so it's gonna be at least interesting, I suppose.
  18. I'm normally a fan of the 'underdog' characters (Yuminaga, etc.), so most of the characters I don't really like are the "main" characters. I personally don't like KID, Shinichi/Conan, Ran, Sonoko, Genta, Ayumi, and Kogoro, for varying reasons. And I think we have a thread like this, though I'm not certain.
  19. SONOCI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
