  1. @maurice: nahh.. haven't played any of them. ;P i heard the song before i knew of the game, actually, when a friend had its sheet music and tried playing it with his guitar. i was rather bummed out there wasn't an anime nor drama of it though :'[ too bad.. btw, is life treating you ok? @thread: New Radicals - Someday We'll Know
  2. People can really change. When they're far away from each other, their hearts will change. It's so cruel that the only thing I can do is wait. - Mouri Ran don't know where but I'm gonna find out. sad nonetheless... T_T
  3. well, you can't really blame them coz the government wasn't that keen in promoting the art. i think it's just recently that they've supported a bill which aims to make it our national sport. you're lucky to have it in your curriculum when you were younger. i wonder what would happen to 'sipa' then. hmm.. :/
  4. yep! still am, always will be. i did the anyo/forms. wasn't really good at sparring coz i don't like hurting people. lol. i think Presas' Kombatan is modern arnis? anyway, it's nice to know someone here who's interested in arnis. v()v
  5. oOo.. i'd like to watch those, too! thanks! i love cherry blossoms ^^
  6. @la vanille : yep, before i came here to Canada! there actually was a time when i do arnis then go straight to wushu. and sometimes, i cut class just to attend them bad me but it was worth it. lol. i was soo addicted. i left my rattan sticks at home, too, so i'm trying to find one here. this would be totally weird but i'm starting to miss the blisters and the calluses on my palms. sayy..what college did you go to? and what arnis style did you practice? mine was 'Tercia Cerrada Cadenilla y Espada y Daga' of LSAI. i was part of a club in UP though i didn't formally study there. took up a class, though i know what you mean about those wushu athletes. they're not human! i mean, man! those jumps and kicks? defying gravity at its finest. @1412 : that's what i was told, too, it has a great storyline! i also have that bloodlust that you're talking about though not that much anymore than i used to i kind of mellowed but i wanted that madness again lol. added it in my to-watch list. @HermioneXHaibara : googled Unfair.. and i must say girls who can kick ass are really cool 8-) think 'so close'. the topic's under Chatroom anyway so i think we're forgiven  and, isn't it a good thing that this forum is alive? guess i must add 'replying to forums' as one of the things i do on my free time. v()v
  7. eat, sleep, be merry @IBYea : you do martial arts? what kind? i'm a martial arts junkie myself. i used to do aikido, wushu, arnis, then capoeira. not simultaneously, though. haven't done them in a while but i'd really love to experience the gore and glory again. i also blog like you. kinda became my outlet ehehe. and piano.. a loong time ago. @1412 : kudos on 'doing absolutely nothing!' is Code Geass also good? it was recommended to me. @Southpaw : saw your gallery in dA. nice! *2 thumbs up* i also had one before but i took it down coz i wasn't able to update it as often as i wanted to @HermioneXHaibara and DetectiveConanfan : exercising, hmm.. should do that! @la vanille : Clean the entire house/parts of it? i am not worthy ^^
  8. Ponyo by the award-winning director Hayao Miyazaki! (He was the genius behind my favorites: My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, etc.) It's about this cute, little girl sea creature whose destiny is to save the world by running on the backs of whales. The movie was already shown in Japan last year but in the US and Canada, Walt Disney's gonna release it on August 14, 2009. It has already won Animation of the Year and Outstanding Achievement in Music at the 32nd Japan Academy Prize so it must be really good! Btw, it just so happened that this director also created an anime series with a Conan character (Future Boy Conan) in 1978.
  9. Tamar Kaprelian - New Day Cause everything, everything ends at the start I
  10. How about the dashboard? Would it have the same login info as the other 2? :- That'd be cool
  11. Phoenix Wright:Ace Attorney - Turnabout Sisters theme Not actually a song but an instrumental (guitar)
  12. My Neighbor Totoro I can never forget about the Dustbunnies, the Neko Bus and the magical plant-growing dance ritual they do at night! Rurouni Kenshin aka Samurai X Learned so much from this anime. The songs are great, the drawings brilliant! I've always wanted to have a reverse-edged sword, been tempted to say that the scar on my left cheek was caused by a dagger and even searched for a white plum perfume. I've been lashedcheek ever since! Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure Ever wondered about alternate worlds? I do. :geek: The Animatrix Short stories, life-long lessons. nuff said. Fushigi Yuugi Well..I was in high school and believed then that I could do anything *quote* For the Sake of My Beloved *unquote*.
