  3. Part 2 You are mistaken in your certainty. It could have been from Amuro who was also following, or Vermouth on the bridge. Again, you are being more certain in your conclusions than the evidence warrants. Okiya's device could be a hands free bluetooth set linked to a phone, not a tap. And we have no idea who called who or why, so it's dangerous to make such definitive assumptions without evidence to back it. For all we know, one could be a wrong number and the other could have been pizza delivery telling them they couldn't deliver because no one answered the door. Akai would have taken it out of his car as a precaution against the police finding it later in case it failed to burn. Also it explains perfectly Sera's interest in Haibara as well as Conan. The FBI has made plenty of mistakes before, notably in the Vermouth arc. Also, Akai might very well keep it with his personal things if the picture was sentimental to him, as it is a picture of his dead girlfriend's younger sister whom he may have been asked to protect in a PS message, for example.

  4. Forgive the following lameness. :V I'm not waiting for Moho anymore. **************** "What did you give for me?" demanded Nero, his words hanging heavy on the air, like raindrops waiting to fall and start a storm. "Tell me now!" "Nero- we-" Ari cried, holding her little brother tight against her chest, sobbing as she tried to continue, her answer caught in her throat with her pain and tears. "We had to," she choked out. "I told him no, but Kei- he-" "Kei, what did you do?" Suddenly, Nero didn't look like a slightly smaller than average sixteen year old anymore. He voice was cold, like an icy wing, his blue eyes holding a fierce blizzard that froze the unfortunate onlooker where they stood, his snarl, challenging and vicious, was enough to make him look older, dangerous, a feral animal ready to attack at whim. "WHAT DID YOU GIVE FOR ME?!" The older boy simply closed his eyes, leaning against the door frame, remaining quiet, Ari's sobs the only sound in the room, but the silent crackling of tension filled Nero's ears like thunder before a storm. And Kei broke it with three words. "Me for you," said Kei so quietly Nero almost missed the words, but they sounded in his mind like fireworks, gunshots, sending him reeling, deaf, even though this had been the answer he'd been expecting. There were just some things you couldn't prepare for. The sacrifice of life being one them. "They're going to kill you!" yelled Nero in an accusing tone, batting Ari off with a rough shrug of his shoulders, freeing himself from her immobilizing grip, charging up to Kei and pinning his brother to the wall with his hands, trapping him in a cage of blond. "How could you do such a thing? Why? Why, Kei?! Tell me!" "My life is defined by you," answered Kei simply, meeting Nero's powerful azure gaze without flinching, eyes serene and accepting of his fate. "My entire existence, mine and Ari's, serves to protect you from harm and to serve at your side. And they didn't say they'd kill me." "But I'm guessing it's inferred!" said Nero angrily, feeling an intense urge to punch some sense into Kei. "And if you give yourself up, you won't be able to protect me anymore. And I won't have a big brother anymore. At least when I left last time, we could talk over the Internet sometimes, and I knew I ws going to see you again." Nero's voice quavered as he too started to cry, albeit quietly, trying to hold back the tears as best as he could. "But if you leave now, I might not be able to see you again, ever! You're family to me, Kei, family! You, Ari, and I are a family! We need each other! You can't just break that, Kei, you can't!" "I'd be breaking it if I let you stay here as well," he answered gently, pulling Nero into his arms and letting his little brother cry into him. "And you don't know if it'll be good-bye or not. For all we know, I could come out of this alive, don't you think? There's always hope. When there's a will, there's a way." "Let's escape now," whispered Nero, already formulating a plan. "Before they can get either of us. As soon as Chaos gets back with the others, let's run for it." "We're in enemy territory, Nero," Kei reminded him, his voice admonishing. "We'd all be dead by the time we make it to the perimeter. Think straight. Don't let your emotions clog up your thinking process." Nero shook his head, and from the hallway, footsteps could be heard. Nero could make out Chaos's, Krev's, Brise's, and another less familiar pair of steps that had to be Aeyra. Nero looked away from the door and back to Kei, blue eyes burning up with relentless determination. "There's always hope," he quoted fiercely, drawing an eyebrow raise from Kei. "When there's a will, there's a way." With Nero's massive amount of willpower, there had to be at least ten ways. *********************** Moho, you are forbidden to kill any one of the characters mentioned in this installment! (just a reminder. No killing Kei!) Let us get away for once. Start another chase and mess up all my plans another time. :V To everyone else: So, how was it? Predictable, wasn't it? :V Oh well, it's past midnight and I'm tired.

  7. This is a gift to Lashedcheek! ^___^ I want to thank her for being so kind and generous! An example would be that when my secret Santa didn't create me something, she offered to do something for me instead despite probably being busy. It's nice to know there is such a thoughtful person existing on this earth. :') This isn't really a drawing ....>___> but I'm not really sure where to put this, so I hope this is okay ^ ^; oh, and Happy New Years~!!

  8. If you mean "Sugee" it's not a very polite form. It's only spoken by young men with bad manners. And it's mostly a spoken expression. It's not in the dictionnay (I mean the japanese-japanese dictionnary 広辞苑). I hope that you know you shouldn't try to speak japanese like in manga if you go to Japan one day. You would give a very very bad impression to the japanese people you talk with. Actually if you do a japanese basic course you should learn the polite form first. That means adjective finish with ~い or ~な

  9. Now that we've finished with the vowels' section, let's move on to the next, and this will be 'k' section and which can also be modified to 'g'. Hiragana: Lesson 6 - 'か' [ka] Pronunciation: 'か' = is romanized 'ka'. Word beginning with 'か': かぎ (kagi -> key) 買う = かう (kau -> to buy) 傘 = かさ (kasa -> umbrella) かれ (kare -> he) 風 = かぜ (kaze -> wind) Stroke order: The Hiragana か is made with three strokes: A horizontal line which turns and ends in a hook facing left. A curved vertical line that cuts through the first line. A small curved line on the right. The Japanese character 'ka か (and the other 4)' can easily be modified/change to 'ga/i/u/e/o' by adding two small little curve at the top on the right (look below). Word with 'が': ひらがな (Hiragana -> Japanese characters: hiragana~) がき (gaki = brat; kid) 'が' is also used for particle indicating a subject. Ex. adding soon.. (we will be introducing the Japanese particles in the future, hopefully. After we finish with the characters~) Note: You shall write 'か' at least 50 - 100 times in your textbook. If you want, you can also separate them, like write 'か' 70 times and 'が' 30 times . Will be going to the next character in a short time

  10. I guess I should do lesson 4 today... Hiragana: Lesson 4 - 'え' [e] Pronunciation: 'え' is pronounced 'eh' as in 'net, set, bet, etc' Word Beginning with 'え': 円 = えん (en -> yen (Japanese money)) えいごく (engoku -> United Kingdom) 駅 = えき (eki -> station) 演劇 = えんげき (engeki -> drama, play) Strokes order: The hiragana え is made with two strokes: At the top, a short diagonal stroke proceeding downward and to the right. At the bottom, a stroke composed of a horizontal line, a diagonal proceeding downward and to the left, and a rightward stroke resembling a tilde (~). Note: Same as the previous lessons, you shall write 'え' at least 50 - 100 times in your textbook (again ). Now following the same method; after you do that, write 'あ', 'い', 'う', 'え' each after each (あ, い, う, え, あ, い, う, え, あ, い, う, え, etc.) 100 times (sorry if I'm killing you right now! But this how it should be if you want to stick it in your brain !). VERY IMPORTANT: You have to echo the sound of the character each time time you write/repeat it .

  11. Hiragana: Lesson 2 - 'い' <-Previous lesson OK, now for Hiragana' 3rd lesson... Hiragana: Lesson 3 - 'う' う in hiragana or ウ in katakana (romanised u) is one of the Japanese kana, each of which represents one mora. In the modern Japanese system of alphabetical order, they occupy the third place in the modern Gojūon (五十音) system of collating kana. In the Iroha, they occupied the 24th position, between む and ゐ. In the Gojūon chart (ordered by columns, from right to left), う lies in the first column (あ行, "column A") and the third row (う段, "row U"). Pronunciation: う is pronounced 'oo' as in 'moon' Word Beginning with 'う': 上 = うえ (ue -> on; over; above; top; older) 嘘 = うそ (uso -> lie) 美しい = うつくしい (utsukushii -> beautiful) 海 = うみ (umi -> sea) Strokes order: The hiragana う is written in two strokes: At the top of the character, a short diagonal crook: proceeding diagonally downwards from the left, then reversing direction and ending at the lower left. A broad curving stroke: beginning at the left, rising slightly, then curving back and ending at the left. Note: Same as the previous lessons, you shall write 'う' at least 50 - 100 times in your textbook. Now following the same method; after you do that, write 'あ', 'い', 'う' each after each (あ, い, う, あ, い, う, あ, い, う, etc.) 100 times . Next lesson -> Hiragana: Lesson 5 - 'お' [o]

  12. Introduction to Japanese Characters & Hiragana: Lesson 1 - 'あ' [a]<-Previous Lesson Hello, everyone, how's your studies going? Did you finish the homework we gave you yesterday ? OK, now will be the lesson 2 for the Hiragana 'い' Hiragana: Lesson 2 - 'い' い in hiragana or イ in katakana (romanised as i) is one of the Japanese kana each of which represents one mora. い is based on the sōsho style of the kanji character 以, and イ is from the radical (left part) of the kanji character 伊. In the modern Japanese system of alphabetical order, it occupies the second position of the alphabet, between あ and う. Additionally, it is the first letter in Iroha, before ろ. In order to write the hiragana い, draw a curve, not entirely unlike a parenthesis, downward stroke with a hook, and then draw a smaller, floating curve to the right side. Both represent the sound . In the Ainu language, katakana イ is written as y in their Latin-based alphabet, and a small ィ after another katakana represents a diphthong. Pronunciation: 'い' = 'i' is pronounced as 'ee' as in 'eat'. Word beginning with 'い': 行く = いく (iku -> to go) 石 = いし (ishi -> stone) いっしょ (issho -> together) いす (isu -> chair) Strokes order: The Hiragana い is made in two strokes: At the top left, a curved vertical stroke, ending with a hook at the bottom. At the top right, a shorter stroke, slightly curving in the opposite direction. Note: Same again, you shall write 'い' at least 50 - 100 times in your textbook. After you do that, write 'あ' and 'い' one after each (あ, い, あ, い, あ, etc.) 50 times (or 100 if you have the time) . PS. After learning 5 of hiragana characters, I'm thinking if I/we (Kenny-sensei ) should introduce you some of verbs . Any questions? Next lesson -> Hiragana: Lesson 3 - 'う' Source (above [intro]): Wikipedia
