  1. This is a message from all of the friendly staff members of Detective Conan World's message board to you, our members. Please take time out to read it. We are close knit community here at DCW, and we like to watch out for each other, so we would like to remind everyone here of a few general guidelines on how to be safe on the internet. This website consists mostly of teens and young adults, many of which are legally underage by law. If you receive any kind suggestive solicitation or request for cybersex from any user, even one you have known a while and trust, tell a moderator about it. This kind of thing is strictly not allowed on DCW because of the ages of our general user population, and there will be permanent ban for anyone found looking for or using underaged DCW members to engage in "internet romance". From a personal safety standpoint, be careful of people who are looking for internet romance on websites like DCW, even if you have known them for a while, you trust them, and they are kind to you. It could very well be possible that they are USING you, and playing to your emotions. They may not care to care about you emotionally, they will cheat on you, and they will drop you as soon as they are bored. They will say otherwise, but that's very commonly how it goes. They may even stalk you, and it can get worse and scarier from there. Detective Conan World is not the relationship police. If you want to pursue a relationship on here knowing full-well the consequences, it is up to you to work that out if you are of legal age. However, if we learn that another user is soliciting cybersex on this forum, then it will not be tolerated and will lead to a permanent ban of that said-user. This site is pretty light-hearted and fun, but once something like that happens then we have no choice but to put our foot down. No exceptions. No matter how much of a well-regarded member you are around here. Please, stay safe and please report anything sketchy that someone else tells you to the moderators. Thank you all!!

  2. I really hope to see more Akemi/Akai in the upcoming chapters. >w< ((Note: Yes. I know he had long hair when he dated Akemi. Just pretend they're both dead in this picture so I can get away with it. XD)) BONUS:

  6. The BO had a death list of people who had been poisoned with APTX. It was shown when Sherry discussed searching Kudo's hoise to confirm his death. There were quite a few names visible on it. Also Sherry took the APTX to commit suicide, and she expected to die. That was after the BO started using APTX to kill people and had Sherry with a team check Shinichi's house twice, so I am pretty sure she would know how it affected most people. Shiho mentioned shrinking as a rare effect that happened to one mouse, while most of her mice just died, so that strongly implies most people simply keel over without physical transformation.

  8. -sigh- No martial art is inherently more dangerous than the next. None. I hate it when people say that. The only ones arguable are the purpose built ones for military like Krav Maga and Systema. All the rest have their dangerous moves and their not so dangerous. I have trained long enough to know this as fact. Are the knees and lower kicks of Muay Thai really effective? Yes, but so are the higher kicks of TKD and Shotokan, Kenpo, Kyukushin and other forms of Karatedo. A proper kick from any art can break bones and shatter limbs. And knees and elbows are just simply effective, with or without training. Training just helps generate more power and accuracy. I've learned a variety of arts officially and unofficially. Some were beneficial to me, others not so much. The best things I learned were pressure points and locks from HKD and JJ and the ground work from BJJ. Then learning how to apply those things in a simple and effective way through Krav Maga just made sense and created my art which is based around personal effectiveness in a pinch. Sometimes dirty? Yes, but I'll survive, the other person might not. I have to say though... the Wing Chun punching style is fantastic. Nothing beats it. I've proven to a few friends that once I get in in a pure punching game with only lower kicks, all I need to do is break through for a second and its over. But Wing Chun is not infallible and needs to be supplemented with arts that can deal with locks and take downs.

  9. Because I have nothing better to do, I'm going to interpret each scene from the trailer one by one. (note: these are scenes from the long 50 second trailer, not the short 33 second trailer)

  10. I'm sorry, but halfway through I couldn't read anymore because I couldn't stand the ConAi and Mitsuhiko's suffering. I'll try to read it later, but for the most part, I don't think it's necessary to explain their situation unless you're planning to show this story to someone who has never read DC before. I'm pretty sure all of us have. It seems a little stiff, but it's a lot better than your first prologue. I'll come back to this once i finish coloring my newest MitsuAi pic (which explains my mood today). Good job!
