It looks amazing!” “I wish otou-san was here to help us decorate the tree…” Ran sighed. “Ran-neechan, oji-san already went to the bar! He’s probably drunk now!” Ran said nothing, only thinking of another way to get her parents back together for Christmas. A family dinner? No okaa-san probably wouldn’t come. A big party, perhaps? Hmm…yes, that would be good, then, my parents would realize how happy they are together! Ran sat back, savoring the idea. “A-ano…Ran-neechan?” Conan asked. “Do you want me to bring the ornaments?” “H-huh? Oh, arigatou, Conan-kun.” Ran said, still daydreaming. I have to disguise the party idea, so okaa-san and otou-san wouldn’t know I’m trying to get back togeth- The door opened and closed. Conan walked in, with several boxes of ornaments stacked high above his face. Ran had to suppress her laughter. “Do you need some help, Conan-kun?” “Iie, I’m fine, oh wait now I need –“ The ornaments all toppled off of Conan’s small hands as he tried to catch the ornaments. He successfully caught one, and Ran caught two, but the rest fell to the ground, shattering. “G-gomen, Ran-neechan.” “It’s okay, Conan-kun, now let’s hope none of the ornaments are shattered….” “Nope, all clear! Let’s hang them up!” As Conan started to hang up the ornaments with Ran, he noticed her eyes had welled up with tears. Alarmed, Conan asked “What’s wrong, Ran-neechan?” “Oh, gomen Conan-kun. I was just thinking about the Christmas’ Shinichi and I used to spend together…” She trailed off. Conan tried to comfort her, but couldn’t say anything. Ran turned to look at Conan. “Do you think he has forgotten me?” Her eyes filled with more tears. Conan panicked, and this time, he found himself. “I think Shinichi-niichan is too afraid to speak out his true feelings about you, but no. Shinichi-niichan has not forgotten you. He thinks about you everyday and always keeps you in his heart.” Conan was overwhelmed by the truth in his words. Ran raised up and dried her tears and gave Conan a small smile. “Arigatou, Conan-kun.” *clock strikes 11* “Nani?! Conan-kun! It’s way past your bedtime!” Ran reprimanded with some of her old fire back. “D-demo…” Conan protested. Ran was in tears yesterday!” “I’m sorry, Kudo-kun.” Her voice softening. “But you should know I’m trying the best I can. You cannot rush time.” “B-but!” “I-I understand.” He said slowly. The glare of his glasses prevented Haibara from seeing his blue eyes clouded with sadness. She tried to find words to confort him, but could find none. hi guys! these are my first entries for the "Drawings" section... XD honestly, I really didn't know how to draw. Neither did I ever become interested in art at all. Drawing's something I know I could never learn... until I tried. I realized that drawing needs not to be taught. One could learn if one has enough determination and perseverance to keep on trying. and in my case, I've finally mustered enough guts to make... well, these. :| I actually ransacked through my brother's Otakuzine to find some photos I could draw from. XD These are kinda messy since I did my own way of "shadowing" "shading". :V :V ~hope you'll like this! this is Reinforce Zwei from the quite underrated Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Striker S. I'm not really good at drawing hands, so I just chose to make it a right arm instead of hands. XD Hikaru and Kaoru here. I tried drawing Hikaru's eyes for like... ten times! LOL I've had a hard time drawing it so... :/ ~ now I have a stiff neck for continuously drawing for almost two hours. :cry: but it's all worth it. thanks! <33333

Well, since I am about to reach the 1000th post here, I decided to post a drawing here on the forum. It's a drawing of Shinichi Kudo, and it is based from a manga file (I can't remember what file is that, but I think it was about valentines, or something in Volume 24). BTW, I actually made it for Shinichi, as a gift for his last birthday. Sound's ridiculous isn't it? Anyways its fun. (I forgot to complete something in the drawing when I took a pic of it, but it's finished now. Wonder if someone notices it XD) Feel free to post your comments and/or suggestions. I'm open to criticisms. And oh, I'm not a pro, just doodling around~ -redangelran

yup. i know it's a base but i'm currently at my parent's house til after new years and they don't have a scanner. i just used an old base i had in my old computer and edited it around abit for secret santa. i will say who the pic's for when the time comes..IF i can find this topic again.

hey guys, FINALLY! I've finished working on my Fairy Tail Personifications. Personifications, I know, are too trivial to get someone willing to work on them. but I really want to do this badly so... here it is. XD "Cross-personality" is rampant. I'm sorry. I made a list of the members who I know are going online actively enough. My list sure is lacking so, I'm sorry again. >//////< ALL the characters' and members' names I wrote on pieces of paper are randomly picked... but because I'm unfair, I'm still ERZA SCARLET. since the "DCW females" being more than the males are the exact opposite for FT characters, I just made it: for a change. XD Ryuuji and jovan are lucky cuz they remained males~ you GUYS are soooo hot! btw, the latest ep I've watched is the 40th, then 50-70. apparently, I have no idea who the new characters beyond those eps are. >_____<" ~sorry for explaining too much

I watched the video and I think that you shouldn't have post it up here in DCW. DCW is a website where people come together to discuss DC or to talk to each other. I am not saying that it is wrong to promote Islam but I think that it shouldn't be done here. It isn't wise to post this up here as the members of DCW comes from different countries and have different religions. That means they have different opinions as well. And the title of this topic - Did you seek the truth before?- it is like saying that Islam is the one true religion. For me, as I am a Muslim, I agree that Islam is the one,true religion but you shouldn't have name the topic as 'Did you seek the truth'. It is like implying that those who aren't Muslim and don't follow the Islamic faith are wrong. Although I agree with the man in the video, I can't say for those who will watch it. They have different opinions and it is their right to follow their beliefs and what they believe that is the truth. I am not trying to say that what you are doing is wrong but I just want to say that you shouldn't do it here. A religious debate almost always comes out ugly and I don't want religious issues to strain relationships between members in DCW. Sorry if I am being too straightforward but I am just voicing my opinion.

Heiji and Kazuha's Awkward moment when Ran said "I know, you two are a couple!" *laughs* This one is finished. from the same Volume (19), this is File 6: The Fourth... something (I forgot.) This is still a sketch... bah, a lot of proportions are off..... and Heiji came out weird. O_o... Tons of sketch marks (if you can see them... bu it's worse in reality...).... still needs shade... I should start on characters other than Conan, and Haibara....

...Well I really haven't said anything in this thread. Chelsea... *hugs* do you want to talk about it or would you rather just ignore the subject? I know it's been rough... Don't. Don't hope to die. Death is just pretty much hitting a brick wall. The end. Sure, it may seem easier, you won't have to deal with the stress of living anymore, but then what? What do you get out of it? When you're gone, there's nothing else you can do. When you're dead, it's impossible to be happy. So what was the point of dying? When you're living, you have a chance to be happy, a chance to smile, a chance to hope. When you're dead, there's nothing. And do you honestly think no one cares? By entering this community...we automatically care. There is always someone on this planet that cares about you, even if you can't see it coming through. Maybe the thought of death is more pleasurable when you imagine people mourning over you and regretting everything...but isn't it better to make them happy with your presence in life then guilty about your death? Don't give up hope -- it's something that is so strong, much stronger than people believe it to be. Keep holding on and staring at those clouds, because sooner or later you'll see the silver lining.

Father (Age 45): I'd have to say my father is most like the character Ooba Satoru, the culprit from episodes 192-193 (the Desperate Revival arc), mostly because he thinks he's above the law, he thinks destroying people in revenge is justified, and he's really pompous and denies his crime to the very end, even in the face of overwhelming evidence. That part where he says to Shinichi that he has 100 answers prepared for his 100 questions really made me mad. Anyway. He wasn't even bothered in the least about killing someone, going so far as to commit the murder while kissing his girlfriend, and shamelessly exploited his girlfriend's feelings for him to use her as a witness. This is pretty much exactly how my dad is in all aspects of life, but especially regarding the crimes he has recently committed. Mother (Age 50): The lady who appears in the beginning of Magic File 4, who talks so much that she ends up holding Conan and Heiji up for 10 minutes. My mom is always talking about absolutely nothing, but ends up keeping you there for hours. And of course, she also loves telling complete strangers all about her family, like the lady in Magic File 4, even talking for hours about the most unimportant details, like what I decided to eat for breakfast the previous day. Oldest sister (Age 24): Sonoko. She is super stuck up and full of herself, and always talking endlessly about how intelligent she is, but she's a good sister when she needs to be (just like Sonoko is a good friend to Ran when she needs to be), and you can't help but love her despite how arrogant she is. Older sister (Age 21): The culprit from the case where the bandaged man attacked Ran at Sonoko's villa, Takahashi Ryouichi. This character struck me as being like my older sister because he acted completely nice to everyone while secretly plotting to kill Chikako-san, and later Ran, whose life was targeted only because he didn't care about her life as long as he could protect himself. I don't think my older sister is plotting to kill anyone (fingers crossed), but she is very two-faced, pretending to be very sweet and buddy buddy with me while secretly digging up any and all dirt on me and sending it in report form to my father so he can try to discredit my witness testimony against him in court. She will also sabotage anyone and everyone to further herself or protect herself from blame or harm. Younger sister (Age 18): Ayumi. Her most prized feature is her cuteness. She has boys with crushes on her that will do anything for her and follow her around everywhere. Their feelings are painfully obvious, but she chooses not to address them so that she can keep them chasing her and milk them for all they're worth. True story: one of the 10 million boys chasing my little sister asked if he could take her on an all-expenses-paid 2-week vacation to Hawaii, and she replied she would only go if he did something for her. Yeah, apparently paying for her vacation in Hawaii isn't enough. So anyway, he proceeded to buy her a laptop as a present, and then she agreed to go, albeit begrudgingly. But then she complained to me every day she was there that she had to spend all her time with only one boy, and that it was boring her. While she was in Hawaii, no less. Haha I'll never understand her. Younger brother (Age 16): Eisuke. He is completely clumsy, genki, hyper, and cutesy, but he is pretty normal and very observant underneath it all, and he will surprise you with how knowledgeable he is. Seriously, my little brother will spend hours gushing about cute little kitties and the like, but when he is serious, he is super serious. Also like Eisuke, my little brother underwent a huge surgery at a young age. He was born with a congenital heart defect, so he had to undergo open heart surgery. Then his sister gave a whole bunch of blood for him, only to realize after the fact that her blood was a different type than his!!! So kind of similar, in that Hidemi was a different blood type from Eisuke, but different in that my brother just got blood from another donor and didn't get his blood type completely changed. But he also has a scar down the middle of his chest just like Eisuke. As for myself (Age 19), it's kind of tough to come up with the right person, especially after coming up with negative characters for two of my family members. Now, if I were to assign myself a "good guy" character, it would look as if I think I'm better than them, or think too highly of myself, or that I sit and insult others from my castle on high. I don't think very highly of myself at all, and I was actually looking for a character for myself among the serial killers. But then that didn't really work, because no matter how worthless of a person I am, it's impossible to see myself killing anyone. My little brother suggested that I'm a lot like Shiho. It makes sense to me, because although I'm a good person, I'm always so pessimistic that I get everyone down, and I'm overly critical of everything to the point where I make everyone else too intimidated to say anything. We also both held esteemed research positions until insane family problems and every possible problem in the world decided to happen to us and caused us to give up on life. But no - sorry. After thinking about how we are both similar, I realized that it is very bad for me to compare myself to Shiho. I mean, she seems to be very popular among fans, and I don't want anyone to get the idea that I think I'm cool enough to be like their beloved character. So, I don't know. While I can find similarities to some characters, I'll just say for now that I'm not like any of them.
