Zenthisoror Translation from the DCTP Cbox. DONE Serina: "You think that I'd commit suicide after killing the last person? I've got sleeping pills in my pocket, but that's because I've been having trouble sleeping lately. I only used them to kidnap you." Conan: "Look, it's all a bit sloppy really. It was a bad decision to leave a bug with the body of the first man you killed. Maybe it's because you wanted to hear the terrified screams of Kashizuka Kei when he discovered it. If that was the case, he would have suspected the whole room to the bugged. Then he would have been on alert the whole time. And you've carelessly left the pistol you used to beat the guy to death, with it's handle still bloody, in the glove box with another pistol, so that's three pistols in total, including the one at the Agency. Of course, the bullets have been removed, but you found the three pistols that were used in the robbery in Kashizuka Kei's room. Having killed Kashizuka, it was also a massive error to switch the phones. Even if the messages and address book have been erased, the police can still track down the owner! There's no apparent plan to your movements; you don't care if messages or photos with sentimental value or the phone numbers of your friends are lost. It seemed as though you didn't care what happened after you'd killed the 3 who had killed your boyfriend. That's why I followed you. Anyway, I have to say I was curious to find out who the last bank robber was. If you do as I say, I'll tell you! If you agree with my reasoning then you'll leave the last robber to the police and confess." Serina: "I, I understand. She's one of the three women we just saw, right?" Conan: "Yep. We could pick up some of her features from the CCTV footage. She was trying to disguise the fact by holding the pistol in her right hand, but she was actually left handed! When you're trying to climb over something, the first foot you put forward is your leading leg. Lefthanded people tend to have corresponding left leading legs. She also held the gumtape in her right hand and and used her left hand to tear it up. When one of her companions fired, she put her left hand to her mouth; when people are surprised or shocked they try to touch their face and calm down and unconsciously they use their dominant hand." Serina: "So was it the first woman Toyokita? She opened the door with her left hand." Conan: "But the door was the kind where, if you use your right hand, your arm comes in front of your body and gets in your way. You only need to show half your body to greet callers. That person's right handed! You can tell from the position of her mug handle to the chair and the frypan handle position, and you'd have to be right handed to get butter on the left side of the blade of a butter knife. (Zenthi note: I beg to differ on that) The second person also used her right hand to unlock the door!" Serina: "In which case..." Conan: "That's right. The mug was set to the left, the memo pad was to the left of the phone. To stop shadows forming when she wrote, the desklamp was on the right of the table. The pens and the sidetable were all on the left! Also, even if she was a writer close to a deadline, her mobile was switched off right? Even if she had a home phone, a writer coming close to a deadline, she'd probably heard that a man had committed suicide at the Agency on the news and anticipated that the police would call her as she was on his mobile's addressbook. She probably thought they'd work out that Kashizuka Kei was one of the robbers through the huge amounts of small change and notes he'd have on him. The 2 million yen were coded, so she only used the money to buy small items. Tegawa san was taking away beef bowl's all the time because at some places you could use 10000 yen notes, and if you did a take away there was less chance of having your face remembered. Unlike a convenience store or a brand store, a beef bowl shop would be less likely to have CCTV. What do you think? Do you agree? Feel like confessing maybe?" Serina: "Yes, I shall go along with your reasoning and go to the police station, but I think you've made one mistake. I only took two guns from Kashizuka Kei's room. The last one was a model gun I was given by a gunmaniac friend, which I had for my own protection. Of course, it doesn't have any bullets." Conan: "But then, that must mean the last real gun..." Tegawa bursts into the car with the pistol, grabs Conan and points the gun at him. Tegawa: "Fire up the car! And I'll direct us somewhere suitable without any possible witnesses!" Conan: To think that she was following us. Damn! My left arm is being held down. I can't use my tranquilizer! Tegawa fires at the window of the driving seat and makes Serina start up the car. The Professor and co. are nearby... Agasa: "Just now, I thought I heard something like a gunshot!" Haibara: "It's that car!" Okiya: "In which case, we should alert Mr Mouri as to the situation..." Agasa: "Why not the police?" Okiya: "Because they're the only ones who can explain everything to the police reliably. If we pass on the details about the make of the car and its number we could set up a check station of some sort. Agasa: "But what if the hostage is used as a human shield and the culprit gets away?" (Zenthi note *Sorry...some of this isn't making sense...but some of the sentences have been abbreviated heavily.) Okiya: "If it comes to that, then that situation will only last until sheer forceful strength stops it." (Zenthi note: I don't like this translation, apologies) Haibara's heart pounds. Kogoro: "What? They're heading northwards along Ouishikaido?" Ran: "But that's this road isn't it?" Kogoro: "And? The car's a blue swift with the number..." Amuro sees a blue Swift going in the opposite direction and does a U-turn. Sera follows. Haibara: "What, what is this? This feeling...(She looks behind her) It's as though there's something chasing after us..." Okiya: "There's no need for that expression." Haibara: "Eh?" Okiya: "I won't let them get away..." He leaves the steering wheel to Prof, opens the door, leans out of the car and is about to do something, when Amuro's car drives past and overtakes him...Do their eyes meet? Anyway, he closes the door. Amuro: "Master, if you just tighten your seatbelt. Miss Ran, if you come over here." Ran is pulled out of her seat by Amuro Ran: "Eh? Hey..." Kogoro: "O..oi, what the hell are you!?" Amuro drifts his car in front of Tegawa's and stops it. Tegawa comes out of the car with her gun against Conan. Sera's ridden her bike onto the Swift's bonnet. Sera: "Blast away!" She turns, and smacks the bike's rear wheel into Tegawa's face. Conan: "That's...that's terrible..." Sera seizes Conan and hugs him. Sera: "Oh my god, I'm so pleased you're alright!" Conan: "Why the hell is she here?" Amuro observes this from the sidelines. Amuro: Why is she here? (Zenthi note: She...if that's Sera he's looking at...we don't know...) (Chek's note: this "she" may really be a gender neutral pronoun.) He glances round at Okiya's car driving past. A phone call comes to Amuro, Okiya and Sera. Vermouth looks down on the scene from a pedestrian bridge. She's parked her bike and starts to speak. Vermouth: "It seems that I've managed to gain some level of trust from you... You'll honor your promise to me, won't you? Bourbon?" END3 points

I have... no idea why I wrote this. Okay, I do, I was bored, and this kind of came out of my boredom. It's one of those random one-shots that are kind of dark and angsty, but aren't very long.... ... ... Yeah. Self-explanatory. I don't think it's very good, but I guess it's decent. Please comment! That Last Time He showed up late that night, an hour later than he should have. He had promised to show up at 7 o’clock sharp, under the Tokyo Tower, where we would stay and watch the stars all night. I’d waited for him eagerly, my short dress rustling in the breeze, my smile bright and anticipating. I had scanned the crowd, looking for that familiar cowlick on the back of his head, those sharp blue eyes that could catch every detail of any murder, guaranteed. When ten minutes passed I called him, but no one answered, leaving me slightly anxious under the towering crimson steel. I started pacing back and forth to keep my mind from wandering, wandering to ugly places, where imagination runs wild in the ways you wish it never would. Ten more minutes passed and I called again, still no answer, and I grew extremely anxious. Whenever he was late, he’d call, at least text, tell me why he was being delayed, be it traffic, a sudden appointment, or him having simply forgotten. But even that one time he had forgotten, he had picked up his phone, and there shouldn’t be anything keeping him from answering it. I send him a quick message, just in case. A simple ‘Where are you?’ At least a text he should have been able to reply, just a few words, ‘I’m almost there’ or ‘Just wait a bit longer’, but I was left in the dark, never feeling more alone. I wanted to leave, to get a taxi to his house and figure out exactly why he had completely ignored my calls and forgotten our big date, but I was afraid to go, not knowing how I’d react if he wasn’t home either. Half an hour passed, and the streets were quieter, no longer the hustling, bustling crowd it was barely an hour ago, and occasionally a couple or a small family would cast me a glance, at the teenage girl staring at the ground, tapping her feet anxiously against the stone. I could only worry, wonder where he was, if he had gotten sucked up into another big case, and disappear again. When the hour struck, I was done with the unproductive waiting, completely intent on barging through his door and hitting him until he begged for mercy as payback for making me so afraid, so scared, and so vulnerable. I turned away from the Tokyo Tower, filled with newfound fury, so distracted with anger that I accidentally ran into someone. Someone who grabbed my arms and pulled me into his chest, my nose buried in the his cool, yet warm scent, someone who stroked my hair, his hands soft and gentle, someone who dragged me into the darkness of an emptier, less-lit street, someone who remained silent. Someone who I knew very well, someone who I had been waiting for, someone who I cried into, unconsciously digging my nails into his back where I clung like some baby animal. “Shinichi,” I whispered, my voice muffled against his shirt, and I heard my whisper returned by soothing hushes, responded by his warm touch slowly making its way up my arm. “Why were you late?” His breath came in pants, like he’s been running for hours, and I notice that his palms are sweaty, and that his fingers have left trails of moisture on my skin. “I’m sorry, Ran. I didn’t mean for it to happen.” “That’s not an answer!” I protested, squirming in his tight grip. “You had me worried! You wouldn’t answer my calls, my texts or anything! I had no idea what might have happened to you.” He didn’t answer, just pulled me tighter, until I could hardly breathe, and with me in his arms we stepped further into the darkness, and I could barely make out his shape. I was so angry at him, yet I couldn’t speak a word of that masked fury, I could only let them flow out in tears. “I’m sorry, Ran,” he repeated, and he let go, and I shivered, feeling the cool air replace his touch. “It won’t happen again, I promise.” I should have felt relieved, but I couldn’t, because while it did sound like a promise, it also sounded like… a good bye. “Shinichi?” My voice wavered, a question spoken into the still air. “I’m not coming back again until I can stay for good, Ran.” His voice shook, and grew hoarse, almost scratchy compared to his usual eloquent tone. “It’ll be better for the both of us.” “No, are you leaving me again, Shinichi?” I wanted it to come out like one of those painful, heart wrenching screams you hear in romance movies, where the heroine cries and her lover pities her and takes back his words, wiping the tears off her cheeks, caressing her as he comforted her. But it came out like an inaudible whisper. “Trust me,” he replied, as quiet as me, and for a few seconds, all we could hear was Tokyo traffic, the melody of rushing cars and honking horns, so loud, yet so silent. “Promise you will come back, Shinichi,” I commanded, sounding strong even though the tears had already spilled down my face. “Promise.” “I don’t know if-“ I cut him off in a way that surprised us both. My lips were pressed strongly against his, and I heard his slight gasp of surprise turn into a satisfied moan, and he took me in his arms again, hugged me close, never once separating our connection. His lips were hot, burning, like he had a fever, and I could smell the sweat on his brow, a salty tang. Then… He pushed me away, repeatedly murmuring, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” so quietly I could just barely hear him, and his voice sounded as if were interlaced with pain. He started running, and I could hear him stumbling, but I couldn’t move, rooted to spot. The next day, I received a text early in the morning, a text from Shinichi. There were only two words, but those two words meant everything. “I promise.”2 points

Inspired by Stopwatch... Here is a brief summary of 800 who saw what. Amuro saw Okiya, and he most likely knew Okiya was intending to shoot out the tires of the car. Why else would someone lean out an open car door while tailing a kidnapper closely? Okiya then drove away with Haibara and Agasa. It is possible Okiya didn't stop because he didn't want to continue being around Amuro and was trying to get Haibara away from the Amuro. Amuro saw Sera. It's obvious she and Conan have a relationship, and Sera's familiarity and hugging make it seem closer than it really is. Amuro's comment "Why is this person here?" could easily be directed at Sera, but Vermouth was also in the same direction that Amuro was looking on the bridge above. If he saw Vermouth and identified her because of her distinctive bike, clothes, and hair it could also work. Amuro may have seen Vermouth. See Sera's section above. Amuro did not see Haibara. Okiya saw Amuro, and he backed off the chase. Okiya now knows Amuro is with Conan, Kogoro, and Ran. Okiya may have seen Sera either when he backed off or at the tail end while watching through his review mirror. This isn't certain, but likely because he would not want to leave, even if Bourbon were there, before Conan was safe. Okiya may have not seen Vermouth. He did get a little "surprise star" on the final page of 800, but it is ambiguous whether it is because he received a call or saw or noticed Vermouth in the rear-view mirror for instance. Sera was pretty caught up in chasing, nailing the robber, and then glomping Conan so she didn't seem to pay much attention. She probably didn't see Okiya, Sera was distracted as said above, and may have noticed Amuro. She obviously knew someone was driving the white car that intercepted the kidnapper’s car. Sera didn’t notice Haibara or Vermouth. Haibara felt there was a BO member following her. Sera and Amuro were following at the time. (Possibly Vermouth too, but she was a lot further off if she was) Haibara saw Sera and Amuro briefly, but as Okiya drove away with her she didn't get a particularly long look. Conan knows Sera and Amuro are there (Amuro from the car), but it isn’t clear if he knows Okiya is there because he was kept in a headlock and distracted by Sera. Conan doesn’t know Vermouth is there and he probably doesn’t know Agasa and Haibara were there. Vermouth was pretty far away. Why was she even around in the first place? She saw all the cars. Vermouth would likely have seen Okiya's stunt if she was watching the cars approach the bridge because Okiya only closed the door after he went under the bridge. She would realize Okiya intended to shoot, but not who he is (unless she knew his appearance in advance) because she wouldn't have had a particularly great look at him without binoculars. Vermouth wouldn't know Haibara and Agasa were there unless she knew about Okiya and his car beforehand. Vermouth saw Amuro at a distance. His dark skin and dyed hair and white RX-7 make him recognizable (if she knew him in advance) Vermouth saw Kogoro, Conan and Ran. Vermouth saw Sera at a distance, but unless she knew Sera's identity in advance, the distance would preclude any ability to sense she looks similar to anyone. Vermouth would also know Sera was attached to Conan.1 point

I can't; however, my parents can and I got my mom to translate for me. 1st image: Just who's in charge of the production (didn't bother to get it translated) 2nd image: Synopsis of the plot of DC in general (in short, what they say during every movie so those who don't watch DC can get the story (though it's beyond me why they would watch the movie if they hadn't seen the series....). 3rd image: Plot of the movie, in the spoiler below (kinda rough, sorry for that).1 point
