Finally updated!! I'm posting it here first. FanFiction can wait. Enjoy!! Kaito knew something was wrong. He could just feel it. He felt a bit uneasy when he found out that his precious card gun had been stolen, but… Now, he felt even more uncertain. There was no reason for anyone to steal his card gun… Was there? Wait… The last time I had something missing, that happened... Kaito’s eyes widened. “Of course!” He jumped off his bed. “The last time, my handkerchief went missing! When that happened… That witch… She must be planning something!” The magician began to pace impatiently around his room. “But what now? I can’t just storm into her mansion without any precautions. Hm… There has to be some reason for her to do this. She knows I won’t be swayed by her spell…” Kaito’s indigo eyes alit with realization. “There must be others who are immune, then!” Kaito scanned his mind for possible people. “…Hakuba hasn’t seemed to be attracted by her… And his watch is missing… And… Who else?” The teenager sighed, frustrated. “It could be some random person… How the hell am I supposed to know?” Kaito laid down on his bed and stared at the ceiling as he thought. Let’s see… I have a deranged witch after me and Tantei-san… Tantei-san…? Tantei…! “Tantei-kun!” ((((((((((((((((((( Conan sneezed. “Are you catching a cold, Conan-kun?” Ayumi asked, concerned. “No, someone’s probably just talking about me…” The shrunken chibi quickly said. “Eh… Is that so?” Mitsuhiko joined the conversation. “Yeah, probably…” Conan smiled on the outside, but inside he felt uncertain about something. He glanced around. It feels like someone has been following me… And after that feeling yesterday… I should keep an eye out. “Conan!” Conan snapped back. “Yeah, Genta?” “Stop moping! It’s Saturday, let’s go play soccer in the park! I have my ball here.” Genta held out the black and white ball for Conan to see. The detective smiled. Soccer will help me relax a bit… I haven’t played in a while either. “Okay.” “Alright! Let’s go!” ((((((((((((((((((( “That was a good game!” Ayumi cheerfully announced after they’d finished their soccer match. “Ayumi-chan…” Mitsuhiko groaned from the ground. “C’mon… We lost twenty four to zero…” “Conan! You must be the best soccer player in the world!” Genta panted next to Mitsuhiko. “You beat us all by yourself...” The mini detective sweat-dropped, still juggling the ball. “I guess I went a little overboard, sorry…” “Don’t apologize!” Mitsuhiko muttered. “And if you hadn’t used all of your effort, then it wouldn’t be a challenge.” The faux child was taken aback. “O-Okay…” “Well? Do you feel better now?” Ayumi asked. “Eh? What do you mean?” Genta rolled his eyes. “Duh, we’re talking about how you’ve been acting lately.” “Eh?” “You’ve been on edge Conan-kun. We’d have to be blind not to notice.” Mitsuhiko explained. “Really?” He hadn’t noticed he had been that obvious. “Sorry, guys… I’ve had a lot on my mind.” “It’s okay, Conan-kun! We’re just glad you’re feeling better.” “That’s right!” “Yeah!” “I really appreciate it, guys.” The detective did. To have them do this for him… And know that soccer would cheer him up… It was nice to have friends like the Detective Boys. Regardless how easily they can get into trouble. “Thanks.” “Of course~!” “Well, I think it’s time we head home… It’s starting to get late.” “Okay!” “See you later!” “Bye!” )))))))))))))))))) “Those kids…” Conan gave a small chuckle as he walked towards the Mouri Detective Agency. Suddenly, the detective felt some kind of presence… Something that was watching him. Quickly, he made his way over to the entrance and went inside. “I’m home!” “Welcome home!” Ran called back from the kitchen. “How was your afternoon, Conan-kun?” “Good! We played soccer!” Ran laughed as Conan entered the kitchen. “That must have been fun!” “Yep.” The mini detective continued the childish façade, but glanced around uneasily. “What are we having for dinner tonight?” “Curry!” Ran answered happily. “I haven’t made this in a while, so I figured I should make it tonight.” “Okay! I’ll be in my room.” “Alright. I’ll call you when it’s ready.” “Thanks!” The detective tentatively walked to the room he and Kogoro shared. The floor was littered with beer cans. “That old man really needs to pick up…” Conan muttered. “Geez.” He began to pick up the cans when there was a noise at the window. Startled, Conan immediately looked at the source of the noise. On the other side of the window, there was a dove with snow white feathers pecking gently at the glass. After putting down the cans, the faux child carefully opened the window. The bird cooed happily and nudged his hand. “Eh?” Conan studied the dove. “Are you… Could you possibly that dove we took care for during the Memories Egg heist?” Joyful that it was recognized, the bird cooed and flapped its wings. “I see… But… You’re Kaitou Kid’s dove. I highly doubt that you grew sick of him and decided to have me care for you… Why are you here?” The dove seemed to motion its head and flew out of the window. Conan watched it fly to a person wearing a black cap, a red t-shirt and jeans next to an alleyway. Realizing who the person was, Conan ran out of the room and downstairs. “I’ll be back in a minute, Ran-neechan!” “Eh? O-Okay!” Ran let the boy go outside. He was responsible after all… Conan dashed to where he saw Kid. He spotted the figure in the dirty alleyway. “Hey!” He called out to the figure turned away from him. “Yes, Tantei?” Kaitou Kid’s unmistakable voice came from the figure holding the dove elegantly on one finger. “What are you doing here?” “Aw, Tantei… I feel hurt. You don’t like me visiting you?” “On the contrary, no!” Conan sighed. “Why are you here?” “Let me ask you something, Tantei… Have you ever wanted something… Something so badly that you’ll do anything to get?” The detective was puzzled at the thief’s question. “…No.” “…” Kid stroked the dove delicately. The bird cooed softly. “I see… That’s truly unfortunate, Tantei.” “You’re a thief. Why are you asking me this?” Conan’s cerulean blue eyes widened. “…You’re not Kaitou Kid.” “What makes you think that, Tantei?” The imposter turned their head towards the tense detective. “Kaitou Kid wouldn’t ask a question like that! He’s a thief; He steals. He wouldn’t need to do something so desperate. And he calls me Tantei-kun.” “Is that so?” The person turned completely around, the dove still upon their hand. The cap shadowed most of their face. “Well then, Tantei-kun, I believe it’s time to collect what I came for.” Conan instinctively took a step back. “And what is that?” A smirk. “You’ll see.” Fingers snapped. Out of nowhere, a gigantic snake appeared. The detective stared at the beast. The thing appeared to be about eighteen feet long and two feet wide. Its glowing yellow eyes drilled into his. The detective noticed the dove was gone. Conan went to bend down to his super-powered sneakers, but found he couldn’t move. He began to try and struggle, but to no avail. “What… What the hell is this?!” “Oh my. Children shouldn’t use such language.” The imposter laughed, still in Kid’s voice. They stroked the king cobra lovingly. “Ohoho~! My darling here has special powers… Most likely beyond your comprehension.” “…Powers? Impossible. Magic isn’t real!” “Oh, it is…” The figure changed voices. Conan’s eyes widened in shock. It was a female’s voice! “You’ll see soon…” “You’re… A girl?” “Why, yes! You didn’t think a woman could pose as Kid? How naïve.” “Shut… up.” “I don’t think you’re in a position to made demands.” The imposter coldly spoke. She pointed her long and delicate finger at Conan. The snake began to slither up to the detective, hissing. It began to coil and wrap tauter by the moment around his small frame. “Urgh…” Conan still attempted to struggle as his body was squeezed. “I wouldn’t move if I were you.” The woman advised, with a sly smirk. “The more movement, the tighter it will become.” “I… Realize that.” The detective bit out. “I’m not sure you do. I wouldn’t want my new toy broken so quickly.” “Toy?” “Yes, toy.” That damned smirk. Conan wanted to kick her in the face on full power. “D-Damn… you.” The faux child froze rigidly as felt the presence of two sharp fangs on the skin of his tiny neck. “Are you aware that my precious darling here is a king cobra?” “…” “I’ll take the silence as a no. Well, I’m certain you’re aware of the effects of a king cobra’s venom.” “I… Thought you said… You didn’t want… Your new toy… Broken so… Quickly.” “Ohohohoho~! Correct!” “Then… Isn’t it meaningless… To threaten me?” “Not in the least, Tantei-kun.” Conan gritted his teeth, trying not to move now. “This venom can be fatal, but it could just paralyze you.” “Still… Meaningless.” “Not quite. You may not die, you may be simply paralyzed… But the pain is excruciating.” “I… Know that.” “Really now... Care to test that?” “Go… Ahead. I’d like… To see you… Try.” The expression of the imposter’s face was not one who was bluffing. As she prepared to snap her fingers, Conan squeezed his eyes shut and prepared to bear the pain. “KOIZUMI!” Akako stopped as she heard her name called. She glanced behind her and saw Kaito running towards them. She gave a twisted smile. Conan opened his eyes to see an exact copy of Kudou Shinichi with messy hair. “Ah, Kuroba-kun. How lovely of you to join us.” “Koizumi…” Kaito panted, glaring at the witch. “What the hell are you doing with that kid?” “I’m threatening him, obviously.” “Stay out of this, Kuroba-kun. It doesn’t concern you.” “Like hell it doesn’t! Get your snake off the kid and leave!” Conan heard fingers snap and felt the air escape from his lungs as the king cobra start to crush his body. He could barely breathe. “Ur… gh…” The magician was horrified, but he couldn’t do anything. “TANTEI-KUN!” Tantei-kun? Kid? “Ohoho~! Oh my.” Akako laughed with delight. She removed the black cap and tossed it away. Magenta locks of hair fell gracefully upon her shoulders. “You’d go so far to let him know you’re Kaitou Kid?” “Of course, I would! This isn’t a game, Koizumi! It’s life or death!” Kaito was furious. The temptress was surprised, as she had never seen the magician mad before. She was actually a little bit scared. Still, she’d still keep up her Poker Face, even if Kaito wouldn’t. It would be understatement to say Conan was astonished at the events taking place before him. The detective was struggling to breathe and taking the biggest breathes of air he could without having the snake coil around him more. “Hhn… Ngh…” “Tantei-kun!” Kaito called out, clearly frustrated he couldn’t do anything. Akako snapped her fingers once more and the king cobra tightened around the small frame once more. A choking sound, a gasp and a laugh echoed the deserted alleyway. The magician watched, aghast, as he saw the unconscious body of his favorite critic crumple to the ground as the snake finally released the detective. Akako strolled over and gently picked up the boy as if he was a baby and she was his mother. She carefully cradled him. “How sweet…” She whispered, rocking him. “He’s much cuter like this.” “Don’t… Touch… Him.” Akako glanced at the magician. Kaito was shaking in fury. “I believe it’s too late to say that, as I’m already holding him.” The witch pointed out. “Now, please excuse us. It’s time for us to be going.” “You… You… Bitch.” The temptress’s blood red eyes narrowed. “I won’t forget that, Kuroba-kun. For now, good-bye.” Akako shifted Conan’s weight to one side. And with one final snap of her fingers, she, he, and it were gone, leaving Kaito all alone in the dark alleyway. “TANTEI-KUN!” Yes... Yes, I made Kaito lose his Poker Face. Sorry about that. But really... I wonder what it's like when Kaito's mad. You never see anything like that! Or Conan for that matter... Anyway, I know it was strange... But seriously, I felt so evil writing this. CONAN WAS KINDAPPED!! Akako is evil~!! While I was writing this chapter, I had a different idea. But then, it changed... I like this one better. Please tell me what you thought!! Thanks!!3 points

I think that old man knows much more than we thought. I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out that James knew the secret behind Akai's death from the beginning. It may explains why Gosho never let him meet Scar Akai face-to-face, as his reaction might have spoiled everything... (The same reason why Gosho avoided letting Ai approach Scar Akai, since she has the "Bo sense").2 points

A/N: I'm going with the fact that I died. BTW, I made a few references to various books, since I happened to have them on me. Gaining custody to Mark's body wasn't hard. All Gray needed was FBI credentials....which he had, as a Interpol officer authorized by the government to arrest. "It's hard to believe. All these battles, all the wars, and you fall here, of all places." He stared at Mark's open mouth, never again to speak a word. According to one of the staff in charge of executing Mark, this was the conversation he had before his death: Staff: Damn, what the hell did you do to get executed at this age? I mean....I know, but why? Mark: Hmm. I guess you can call it my destiny. Staff: It's destiny to murder over 300 people, cause over a million dollars in damage to various buildings, and several cases of grand theft auto and robbery? Mark: Now that you put it that way, I really don't know. *laughs* But what else could I do? Staff: I see. Now, can I ask another question? Mark: Sure, shoot. Staff: You denied the right to a trial, you even agreed to push the date of your execution up. Why? Mark: Because my death will mean the final nail in the coffin. Staff: ....OK. "Final nail in the coffin," Gray repeated. What could that mean? Did he try to kill himself to deal a blow to the syndicate? But what good does that do? But just then, he remembered a day a couple years ago. While Mark, then 7, was staying in his apartment because he had nowhere else to go. That rainy, stormy day, he pulled out a chess board and invited Mark to play. It seemed someone already taught Mark how to play, because he simply walked over and started with moving the king pawn two spaces. The game was fierce. Traps triggered everywhere, one piece triggered at least six others. But the game wasn't what caught his mind, it was the second to last move Mark played. See, he played his queen straight into the open, right into the path of his rook. Gray, not knowing then what was going on, decided to take the queen, only to lose the very next turn. The move, he later learned, was coined the queen's sacrifice. Making your opponent loosen your defenses with the queen, allowing the player to finish off his opponent. Did he really try to pull off that same move in life? Gray's mind was swimming in a sea of thoughts. But wait, Mark also requested a permanent marker before his death, then requested the staff to leave for a few seconds. Could he have written a dying message, even though it was likely impossible? Of course...the most obvious place, since Mark was likely confined, was on his own body. He placed Mark down, then examined his body. Gray was shocked by the results. Somehow, defying the fact that he was confined by unbreakable bonds, he managed to write on his own body under his robe. On his chest was written: Blue, black, red, green, and yellow will spell the location of the final battle. On his right leg was written: Their leader not only has clay of feet, he has feet of clay. On his right arm was written: The hero lies shrouded by the apple trees, dormant and waiting for battle. On his left leg was written: A large group spoils the hunt. A small group is best. On his left arm was written: Sometimes two IS greater then one. Gray hastily scrawled the words down, as if they would disappear any moment. Once he was done, he quickly re-wrapped Mark up in the blue robe, then ran out the door. The words on my body mean:2 points

A/N: So this isn’t my usual Kaito Shinichi thing. It’s just that I believe we need more Haibara and Akako stories here. (I swear Chelsea cast a spell on me, forcing me to write this.) But tell me if you like it. I know it isn’t so good, so please be brutally honest with me. If you notice anything wrong—grammar problems, lack of detail, or anyone acting OOC—please point them out, okay? I don’t mind flames, really. o0o “Haibara, I need to ask you something,” said Conan, slowly turning to face her after minutes of staring out the window with a blank gaze. A week had passed since he and Professor Agasa returned from London, where he helped solve a case for the Grass Court Queen, strolled though his idol’s hometown, and somehow managed to keep his identity a secret from Ran. It was tough, involving a chase down the streets of England, but several pills of the temporary antidote aided by a few cheesy lines did the trick. Such a busy week took a toll on his child body and he needed a whole day to recuperate. He was tired. Strained mentally, physically, and emotionally, he needed to escape from reality. But how could he, when every morning when he took a shower he would stare into the mirror and see himself hopelessly trapped in his child form. He envisioned himself watching Ran and his classmates grow older and getting married while he was stuck in this body. How long would he have to endure this? Months? Years? He shuddered at the thought. Until now, he still hadn’t defeated the Boss and Haibara hadn’t hit on the right formula for the antidote. This was becoming extremely frustrating, especially for the Kudou Shinichi, High School Detective of the East. There is only one truth, he would say each time he solved a case, but why couldn't he discover that ever-elusive truth in his own life? “What is it?” replied Haibara in her usual tone devoid of feeling. “About the pills you gave me last time…” his voice began to trail off. “What about them?” “Do you—I mean, how long do you think will it take before you finally develop the antidote? A few months? A year? I just want to know.” Haibara folded her arms with a sigh. “Do you want me to be completely honest with you?” “Yes.” Conan’s steely gaze spoke volumes, and Haibara deliberated for a moment whether to tell him the truth. Taking a deep breath, she mouthed her brief reply. “Probably never.” Conan stared at her speechless with disbelief. He felt like his world suddenly caved in on him. Haibara paused to let the full reality sink in. “And even if I do, there’s no guarantee that Gin and his men will spare your life.” “W-what are you saying? That I should give up already?” “Simply put, don’t expect too much. You might only be disappointed.” “How can you say that so—so—heartlessly?” he raised his voice exasperatedly. “Don’t you know what this means to me? Can’t you realize that if I don’t regain my real body, my life will be ruined forever! And Ran will—Ran will…” “Leave you? You fear that she will tire of waiting for you?” He remained silent, struggling to keep control of himself. “I know you’re desperate to return to normal, but there’s nothing I can do for you now,” Haibara told him directly. “You—how can you say that? All this was your fault! If you never developed this drug, then I wouldn’t have to suffer like this! I would be a regular high school detective and I wouldn’t need to keep lying to Ran! Do you even know how much I put Ran through because of you and your organization?” She clenched her fists. She could feel her whole body trembling. “Was she the only one who suffered? I was hurt, too!” she screamed and ran away sobbing. “Oy, Haibara! Wait!” Conan called to her, but she slammed the door and disappeared into the night. Braving the deathly chill of the night, Haibara ran blindly, wiping away hot tears, stumbling twice. She felt a stinging pain in her left knee. “Ow!” she groaned, then forced herself to get up. Ignoring the pain, she ran on as fast as she could. She just wanted to be alone, away from everyone else, away from him… He doesn’t understand! No one understands! Moments later, she bumped into someone. She rubbed her eyes and faced the stranger. “Hello there, little girl. Why are you crying?” the teenage girl asked, flicking her magenta hair back. “I’m not—I’m just…He…” she replied in a choky voice. “Oh? I guy made you cry? Listen now, girls shouldn’t cry because of trifles such as that.” “Who are you?” Haibara asked curiously. “I’m a student in Ekoda High.” “Ekoda? And why are you here?” “Oh, I felt the need to get away and think.” Akako replied casually. She proceeded to scrutinize Haibara from head to toe. Something was unusual about the girl’s aura. “You aren’t who you appear to be,” she announced at last. “What is seen is only a façade. The real you lies beneath a mask.” Haibara blinked twice. How did she guess? “What makes you think so?” “OHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!! I know because I am a witch. I can see into your very soul.” “A witch possessing real magic? Sorry but I don’t buy into that,” Haibara replied skeptically. “I see you do not believe me. You do not believe in magic.” “Magic only works for dreamers. Science is for realists. Because of science, lives are saved,” …and destroyed. Because of the drug, I ruined his life. “What can magic do?” “Magic gives its possessor the power to control people’s minds and make them slaves,” was Akako’s mysterious reply. “Why would anyone desire that? Why are people hungry for power to the extent that they sacrifice countless lives in the search for it?” Why did Gin have to kill my sister? Why do people seek to gain power? Akako was caught off guard and tried to evade the question. “Your thoughts are deep. You cannot possibly be the girl you seem to be.” “Why do you want to control others?” Haibara pressed. I…because...“They should serve me. I am a witch and witches deserve to get whatever they want.” A witch, I’m not sure. A brat, definitely, Haibara thought. “So you do need something from them. What is it that you want so badly?” “What I want most is—is…” Akako could think only of the one thing she desired most: Kaito’s heart. She wanted him to love her. He was the only person in the whole world whose heart she could not take by force. She smiled understandingly. “Are you addressing me alone or yourself as well?” It was Haibara’s turn to be surprised. “What do you mean?” Akako gazed upward. Thousands of brilliant stars stretched across the horizon on that clear night. “You and I basically desire the same thing. Something which is not ours to keep. Yet still we keep wishing.” Haibara followed her gaze. The evening sky was such a beautiful sight, indeed. She lowered her gaze to face Akako. “And that thing is?” “You should know the answer.” Presently, they heard shouts. Conan and Professor Agasa were nearby. “It was nice meeting you, but I should leave now. Although the odds are against us, we keep on dreaming. It is not wrong to wish. I believe that if one wishes with all her heart and soul, it will surely be granted someday. Let’s meet again when that day arrives,” were Akako’s parting remarks as she turned to leave. Haibara turned around. Sure enough, she could see Conan and the professor waving to her. She looked back to say goodbye to the stranger, but Akako had already gone, as mysteriously as she had appeared. “Who was she? What are you doing here? We’ve been looking all over for you! Next time, don’t just run off all of a sudden!” Conan scolded her. “Sorry to be a burden, tantei-san,” Haibara replied emotionlessly. She took a deep breath and walked past him. “Oy! Where are you heading now?” “Back to Hakase’s house. Is there a problem with that?” What an annoying girl… “What’s wrong with her?” he asked Professor Agasa. He just shrugged. “Ai-kun! Wait up!” Ai. Love. Sorrow. Love brings with it much sorrow, but that sorrow strengthens love. She was always hurting inside. The wound she tried her hardest to close would reopen time and time again, bringing with it a raw ache. But it was all part of being human—loving, feeling pain, and waiting. In her heart, she promised that mysterious stranger that she would not give up. Although caring and loving hurt, she would continue to hope. A gentle breeze whipped up her hair. She looked up to see a shooting star streak across the sky. Maybe I could make a little wish. She sighed. “I’m starting to believe in magic.”1 point

Alright. This is just a crazy idea that my friends and I had. Please... If you read this, and you like the idea, DO NOT COPY. So... We're not to sure about the setting and such, but we were thinking in a high school. There's a... Club? I'm not sure how to describe it. There's four members... (At least.) Ears: Male. (Well, he might change to female...) A person who is very quiet and always listens to others. He's the leader of the group. Very honest, understanding, I think you get the idea. Mouth: Female. A very loud, obnoxious, but lovable girl. She's out-going, fun-loving, and never shuts up. She loves to laugh and enjoy herself. Eyes: Gender Unknown. (We're not sure which gender yet...) A person with very large eyes, usually sparkling. Looks innocent, but actually is kinda evil and wants... Actually, we're not quite sure yet. But I think Eyes will be an antagonist, but possibly a good character at times. And I don't think the others know that Eyes is evil... Nose: Gender Unknown. Has a big nose (obviously... XD) And has an amazing sense of smell. Always sniffing things. (XD) Oh, and Nose might actually... Well, as a joke, we're thinking that Nose smells. XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD These are just some of the draft ideas for a short and fun manga idea. Just the out-lining. Nothing's set in stone... Oh, and three (possibly four) of us are working on this. Ears is being co-drawn by my two friends and I'm drawing Mouth. (I'm most like her...) Nose and Eyes were both going to be drawn by each of my friends, but I have a new friend who might draw one of them... Who knows? Anyway, that was our idea. Please tell me what you thought~!! XD But seriously, DON'T TAKE THE IDEA. Thanks.1 point

They're not exactly 'disgusting and pointless' you know. I mean, the pure porn ones kind of are, but there are usually stories behind those stories that make them worth reading. I mean, 'Underwater Light' by Maya about the HarryXDraco pairing doesn't go 'M', but it's still pretty serious, and even though I don't like the pairing, it was an enjoyable read. I mean, quite a bit of detail as far as kissing goes, and a few close brushes with- um- desire, and mentions of past exploits, but it's far from disgusting and pointless. Yaoi and Yuri wouldn't be so popular if they were just 'disgusting and pointless'. I mean, I'm not really into yaoi anymore (but HakuKai is still adorable, you have to give it that much.) but I have nothing against it. It's just another kind of story, another part of life. I was never a yuri person, being a girl it's kind of freaky, but I still have nothing against it, and I'm trying to find stories that'll help me understand it better. As long as they're rated 'T' or below of course....1 point

Ran will probably be depressed for a while, especially considering how weak she is and considering that every time something goes wrong, she starts crying for Shinichi, but, as long as Shinichi, as Conan, plays his cards well ("Don't cry, Ran-neechan," and "Shinichi-niichan is stupid.." kind of stuff), she'll get over it. I actually rather hope this happens. Realizing that there can be no permanent antidote for him, Conan takes a temporary pill for the final time and confronts Ran. He tells her to stop waiting for him and says some other cheesy stuff. Then, as Ran bursts into tears and he's about to turn back into Conan, he tranquilizes her. ` But since Gosho has promised a "happy" ending and this would likely count as "tragic", I suppose this won't happen.1 point

I think it's a nice and original idea. For me some of the intros in the special openings are just awesome. And so, it would be lovely to include them, in my opinion. Yet where in the wiki would you like to include them? Would you like to include them in each of the episode's wiki pages? I would love to help, but I'm still not familiar enough with the wiki's style.. Hope the idea will come true1 point

First off, GAH! I spent like an hour writing this and my computer sucks so of course it messed up right when I was about to finish. So now I am writing it again, but I can't remember everything...... A scene from the chapter: The Link Standing alone at the crime scene, Rin forced herself to study the lifeless form on the oak floor before her; It was Hinari Kyoko, the girl she'd met only hours before. Grimacing at the wound that had killed the girl, she remembered something Shinji had asked her on the day he was killed. Seiji and his sister Kira, Minoru, and Mura had all gone to the Haunted House at the theme park they'd been visiting. Shinji, seemingly deep in thought about the 14 gang's latest murders, had stayed behind with Rin, who had refused to set foot in the place. Apparently he knew why she'd remained outside, because he inquired, "Why did you become a detective if you hate blood?" Rin smiled an ironic, half-smile, and stared down at the table, remembering Suki's death. "I need to solve murders in order to punish those who spill blood. Also, by doing so, I can prevent other deaths and comfort the loved ones of those whose lives ended in pain." At Shinji's silence she glanced up to see him grinning from ear to ear. "You know, you're so sentimental. That along with your huge green eyes makes you seem like a girl sometimes," he laughed. But Rin couldn't remember what he'd said after that, and she shook her head, clearing her thoughts. Surveying the scene, she noticed the blue vase that sat on a chest-of-drawers against the wall near the body. It held a single black rose, beside which sat a notecard with smudged writing on it. Rin read it aloud. "This flower symbolizes my feelings about your kind. You are # 3." There was no signature, but Rin knew who had written it; the same one who'd sent Mikazuki Sakura and Ruuki Hina black roses and killed them only days later. In fact, she had known who murdered the girl the moment she saw the body; The woman had reddish-orange hair and sky-blue eyes, just like the two other victims. And like Suki, she thought. But the man who'd killed Suki couldn't have done this. She never got a warning, and there is no reason to kill once and wait two years to do it again. But the resemblance bothered her, likely because of Kira. Although two years older than her twin would ever be, she looked remarkably similar to the girl Rin had known her whole life, and looking at the body, she was reminded that anyone could be killed at any time. With this thought lingering in her mind, Rin recalled something one of her suspects had said about a picture they were shown of the first victim. It reminded them of a friend from Middle School. But none of the victims were at an age where they would have met that person in class. 'Middle School," she muttered. Then the murderer is Donnsuke Liu? But he has an alibi. He's been at the mall with..." She trailed off as she realized why three roses had been sent to Mikazuki-san, two to Ruuki-san, and one to Hinari-san, who were all killed. There's another one... she thought, and stopped cold. Rin whipped out her cell phone, dialing Seiji's number. She sprinted to the parking lot as the phone rang, hurriedly starting her rental car and driving toward where she knew the killer would be. By the time her classmate answered his phone, Rin's throat burned, and she had to calm herself before choking out, "Get to the mall now! Your sister is a target!" When she finally parked and practically leapt from the car, Rin muttered, "Damn. If Kira gets even one scratch..." She curled her right hand into a fist, bolting through the entrance and heading straight to the cafe area with fountains, Kira's favorite place. Already there and hidden from Kira's view, Mura, Seiji, and Minoru stood watching the two figures who sat chatting amiably at a nearby table. The lanky teen with a black ponytail was definitely Donnsuke. Rin joined them for a moment to whisper one thing to Seiji. "Don't worry." Then she stepped out from the cover of the advertisements, hoping Liu didn't know she'd figured everything out. "Hey, Kira!" she called, earning a terrified glance from Seiji and a frown from Donnsuke-san. "Shinichi-sama,? What are you doing here?" Kira replied. Rin approached their table, staying at a distance Liu seemed comfortable with, and lied. "This case is impossible, so I thought I'd come hang out with you guys and quit worrying about it." Liu now seemed to understand Rin's intentions, and stood, dragging Kira up with him, Before she could fight back he curled an arm around her throat, lifting her up slightly. Everyone who could see or hear the situation stayed far back, shocked. "Well, detective, I think you know what will happen if you move," he chuckled. Rin sighed and whispered, "It doesn't matter what Suki did for you in the past. Her death wasn't the fault of the girls you killed, and definitely of the one you won't be allowed to harm."Kira breathed in sharply as she realized what Rin had said. "You're a murderer," she breathed. Liu's smirk faded and he shouted, "They all should have died instead of Amari Suki-san. Those people who remind me she's gone..." Clenching his fist tightly, the teen added, "Screw this," and spun Kira to face him, still limiting her movement. His fist flashed toward Kira, and Rin had less than a second to think before she ran forward. Her only thought was, I have to protect her.1 point
